  1. I quite like the idea of being carted off in the back of a Skoda when my time comes
  2. In your defence, all the letters are the same, just in a different order 😁
  3. ^ Haha I had to take my front seats out in order to clean all the glass up that time I had to smash the front window. I think I adjusted the backrests right forward which makes them easier to get out.
  4. Nice one, Ryan 👍 Why couldn't you get the seat out?
  5. There are two 3s on the diagram. He circled the relevant one.
  6. Your mates are so gonna spill their drinks when you apply those brakes
  7. It would seem that you have the right colours.
  8. This is where I'm looking, Kharl... https://skoda.7zap.com/en/cz/fabia/fab/2002-225/9/903-903050/#24
  9. Oh right. Well I am having no luck finding that kind of tensioner on the ASY engine. It's probably just me.
  10. It's not the original engine is it. What year is the engine and what code? I've been looking at ASY parts but they don't match yours,
  11. The Wee Red Nugget rides again!
  12. It sucks when you're used to a car
  13. Shame it failed, Ryan, but it's not too bad and can easily be put right
  14. Sounds like something could be suddenly jamming up causing the belt to put a shock load onto the tensioner. Or there could be excessive vibration of the tensioner which is causing the bolt to weaken and snap. Maybe the new alternator is causing it as I think they have some kind of clutched pulley on them? Could even be A/C compressor related if it has A/C. Someone else had a similar thing here.... https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/490289-auxiliary-belt-tensioner-repeated-breakages/
  15. But where's the fun in that? 😛
