  1. Oh heck, I forgot yours is a Polo, so the dash will be a bit different anyway. No probs
  2. And a video of how to take the dash apart to get to the switch....
  3. Here's a video for you, Tom....
  4. Faulty brake light switch can cause the glow plug light to come on.
  5. Yes sometimes they can still feel smooth when spun but it's a different matter when the weight of the car is on them.
  6. They can get noisy without any play.
  7. Also you can buy just the clips. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/361414051301?fits=Model%3AFabia&hash=item5425f4c5e5:g:EYsAAOxyOalTYCNp
  8. Yes, repair kits are readily available. Never used one as I've always bought the whole panel assembly so don't know how good they are. Example.... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/121660367677?fits=Model%3AFabia&hash=item1c5385e33d:g:ebYAAOSweW5VYmPi

  17. I don't like jacking mine on the sills. I jack it under the chassis using a rubber hockey puck on the trolley jack pad.
  18. I guess if the car was damp inside it could happen.
  19. The motors don't get damp as they are not inside the door but mounted on a sealed panel just behind the door card. However, the drivers' side motor has a box that contains the electronics that control the whole shooting-match and those electronics can fail.
  20. That's what I was thinking too.
  21. Aww 😁
  22. As long as you don't have it set to admit warm air
