Have you just got standard bulbs in your headlights, Ryan? I find that Osram Night Breakers are nice and bright.

I have disabled my ABS by removing the strip fuse on top of the battery and also fuse number 25 in the cabin until I get round to replacing a front wheel sensor. I now have three warning lights showing on the cluster (ABS, engine malfunction, and flashing handbrake light) but it stops the ABS from going haywire and making the car horrible to drive. Strangely, if I remove only the big strip fuse the ABS still does weird stuff but removing fuse 25 along with it stops everything on the ABS from working.

Did you get the new headlights aligned? When I did mine I just marked where the old beams were shining and set the new ones the same and no one has ever flashed me and it's always been fine on MOTs.

It's impossible to get a new slave cylinder operating without bleeding it so they must have done. Hopefully it's just a pipework leak as others have said.

So the blue should be the power antenna wire which should work and is perfectly acceptable to use. Have you checked to see if it's actually live?

What did you connect the blue wire of the booster to? It should be connected to an ignition live.

Sorry, engine cover is what I meant to say. If you're running without the cover (as I am) the lack of that hole won't matter.

It changed to fuse 5 on cars from 2005/2006.

Should be strip fuse number 3
