Engine management light
The oil pressure switch is sealed by a soft metal washer. I can't see how that could fail unless the switch is loose. If it's coming from the switch it's more likely to be the switch itself. In case you need a new one, the part number is 036 919 081 D

HELP, Coolant leak after using the organic one!
- Engine management light
The oil pressure switches can fail internally and start leaking. The only cure is a new one but they are not expensive- AnnoyingPentium's 2006 Fabia 1.2 12v Ambiente-ish

Mine is also rusting around the number plate lights in the tailgate but it's been like that ever since I've had it and hasn't got much worse. I think it's a common spot for them to rust. I seem to remember some even had to have it fixed under warranty.- AnnoyingPentium's 2006 Fabia 1.2 12v Ambiente-ish
I'm getting rid of the car this year so will just drive it until then.- Tightening torques needed please.

I've always managed those with a normal open-ended spanner.- Tightening torques needed please.
I recommend Meyle HD as very good quality parts. Their drop links for example are top notch. Meyle HD part numbers for Fabia Mk1....- Tightening torques needed please.

Just do what they did back in the old days and paint black underseal half way up the sides of the car- Fabia vRS Injector Loom

Yeah, old Lancias were utter rot boxes 😁- AnnoyingPentium's 2006 Fabia 1.2 12v Ambiente-ish
At least it's not like the old days where a car would barely make it to five years old without terminal chassis rot- AnnoyingPentium's 2006 Fabia 1.2 12v Ambiente-ish

Yes I noticed your plastic has a chunk missing.- AnnoyingPentium's 2006 Fabia 1.2 12v Ambiente-ish
I have some lacquer peel on my front bumper too. I'm not sure if it's been badly repaired in the past. My front wings are also rusting at the bottom near the sills. I think it's where all the muck gets trapped behind the arch liner from the scuttle drains. When I first got the car there was loads of crap trapped behind there and it was damp.- Window Mechanism Again
All done and working.- Window Mechanism Again
New panel has arrived. Paid twice as much this time for something that pupports to be ''OE Quality''. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/193241436844 +- Window Mechanism Again
I think you're right- Window Mechanism Again
Nice day outside so I got the indicator stalk done. Main beam now flashes again 👍 Airbag light was on afterwards so had to erase the code. Stalk was quite a bargain at £16.90 for a Meyle one.- Window Mechanism Again
Since I'm thinking of getting rid of the car soon, I think I will just fit another similar one. Only just bought a new indicator stalk too as my main beam flash has thrown the towel in.- Window Mechanism Again
This was the new one that has just failed... - Engine management light
