What have you done to your Superb III today?
The display shows how much Adblue (or DEF) you can/should put in, the car display suggests 15.5 litres:

Filled the Adblue tank for the second time today, that should take it up to 60k. It was full when I picked it from new and showing a range of 15,000 miles. It appears to be calibrated for a maximum display range of 15k miles but in reality it lasts for 20k each refill. Car was one year old earlier this month and just coming up to 40k.

Just under 37000 miles.

Had a new windscreen fitted this morning as a stone hit it a couple of weeks ago and broke it. This month the car has had a variable service, four new tyres plus the windscreen - hope that lot keeps it going for a while, it's still only 11 months old.

Fuel additive yes/no?
Some dealers sell products that are not VW branded, whether they should be is a different matter, but some do seem to do so.

The Pirelli's are more than good enough for me https://www.autoexpress.co.uk/product-group-tests/91856/tyre-reviews-best-car-tyres-buy-now-2023/pirelli-cinturato-p7#:~:text=There's a pretty balanced approach, best for handling and cornering.

I'm really not interested in steering sharpness or sporty driving by any stretch of the imagination, my time is spent driving up and down the UK road network, I'm a pretty gentle driver but I do cover quite a few miles and they get good reviews for longevity which is important to me so we'll see how long they last. My last car had Pirelli Scorpion Verde which lasted 40k on the front and considerably more miles on the rear so hoping for similar wear rate.

Had the four new tyres fitted today, went for Pirelli Cinturato P7's, wasn't sure what to get, ask 5 people you'll get 5 different recommendations, but went with the Pirelli's as several people indicate they last very well mileage wise and as I cover quite a few miles that's important to me. Some reviews say they are noisy but on the drive home I wouldn't say I noticed any difference to the Bridgstone Turanza T0005 that were on it before. I think the side wall also makes a difference to noise, I have the 18" wheels on the SEL so perhaps the Sportline on 19's create more noise?. I'll be covering a few hundred miles over the next couple of days so they'll get a good run on A & B roads and the motorway.

Took my car in to Skoda today for it's second variable service of this year. I had it new in October last year and it now has just over 35k on the clock. On the way to the Skoda dealer something hit the windscreen hard and cracked it 😠 so new windscreen needed, then Skoda told me the two front tyres are getting a bit low which I already knew, and then they said one of the rears has a split and the other a nail through it so four new tyres required as well. Quite an expensive month including the variable service, windscreen and four new tyres. Lets hope that lot keeps it going for a while 🤞.

ACC Question
Worth a try, it seems that the software has been changed somewhere between your 2019 and my 2023 MY version.
-
ACC Question
Turn off the stop/start option so the engine remains running and see if it gives you an extended 'standby' time. On mine doing this increases the time the ACC remains active while stationary.
-
ACC Question
No need for an apology, things can & do change and Briskoda is a great place for all of us to find out those changes and tweaks. Further to my original post it does drop out after 3 seconds if the stop/start is active, so when the engine stops the ACC drops out which is understandable. Perhaps I should have mentioned I often turn stop/start off when I get in the car and it seems to be this that then gives the extended time the ACC remains engaged, I tried to time it in my head today while stopped with the engine running and it is somewhere in the region of 10-13 seconds (roughly!). I'll try to get an exact time when conditions permit.

ACC Question
I don't have lane assist on my UK spec SEL (Style) model. I am referring to the adaptive cruise control (ACC) bringing my car to a complete stop when the vehicle stops in front, it will automatically drive on again if the vehicle in front moves within 13 seconds of coming to a complete stop. My last car did the 3 seconds, the face lift gets 13 seconds before any intervention is required.
-
ACC Question
On the face lift mk3 it is something like 12-15 seconds, not exactly sure without timing it, so perhaps there is a way to alter this on the pre-facelift?
-
ACC Question
I think it also depends how quickly it needs to slow your car down. If it can manage with just engine braking it does just that, but if a quicker slowing down is required it does use the brakes as well and the brake lights do come on. Not sure on the older Superb model like the 2016 you have but on my 2023 MY I can see on the infotainment system whether my brake lights are on or off so I've checked while driving along a few times, during a gentle slowing down no brake lights but when a quicker deceleration is required and you can feel the brakes being applied the brake lights are shown as being on.

Repair estimates needed.
It's very unfair to assume a mobile repair company might do a bad job, there will also be body shops that do a bad job and visa versa. There are some very skilled mobile repair companies out there, and like a body shop use whichever you require/prefer but try to get a personal recommendation from someone you know who has used them.

How to go about buying a new Superb?
The new paint shops aren't like the older shops where just one paint gun and line is used, it automatically selects a different paint gun that uses a dedicated paint line infeed so there can be no mixing or overlapping of paint colours at all. Simply Clever!

How to go about buying a new Superb?
Paint colour is irrelevant to build/delivery times, modern vehicle paint shops can change the colour of every single vehicle on the line if that is what is required. https://www.automotivemanufacturingsolutions.com/voice/automotive-paintshop-colour-changes-reducing-waste-and-cost/41864.article Take a look at the Czech Octavia website where you can select from a huge number of colours, you can scroll through the different colours using the arrows either side of the paint examples, in build the colours are changed automatically in the paint shop for each individual order. Maybe try a mobile repair company first to see what they think. I've never used this company I've linked to myself so just using them as an example , all you have to do is upload some photos and they'll let you know if you need more than a mobile repair. https://www.dentdevils.co.uk/ If it needs to go to for a body shop repair you'll never know it ever happened, there are some very skilled people out there.
