  1. Is these? https://www.burtonpower.com/caliper-m16-ford-escort-capri-cortina-rh-xc80285.html and take those brake discs? 260x24mm (vented) https://www.burtonpower.com/brake-discs-front-pair-ford-mondeo-1-6-1-8-2-0-93-00-di955255.html
  2. I never liked the texture of the factory material in my Felicia and always envy the leather door panels that other luxury cars of that era had. I decide to give my panels to apply leather although: 1) I had no experience on this matter. 2) I had no other example ie another Felicia owner here of photos from a UK tuning magazine that i was reading those years. I start visiting Upholstery stores in the area and i heard many opinions: ''it can not be done, i want 750 euros for this, there is no gain to do it, i can put Leatherette but i can not guarantee that will last long, yes you can put Leatherette but only an experienced technician can do it, leave it as is, those panels don't stand leather" etc. Since i was not yet member in any forum (GR or foreigner) and there was any Felicia owner in the area to ask i took the risk, removed the 4 panels and went to an Upholstery store which asked me reasonable amount of money and took the responsibility to install real leather. Here are 3 examples as they look now after about 22 years of use. Keep in mind that things now in the market are different, more help (informations) from internet, different prices due to competition, different materials, some cars have them as Standard from the factory etc. This was a ''risky'' project back then but i never regretted for my decision. I know that the photos are not good and there is missing one but i will take care of it in a future post plus a small analysis for the Pros and Cons.
  3. When you turn the key at 1scale the red light does not come on? How is the situation of your battery?
  4. The Americans are the founders of the logic ''improve your stock car'' https://www.appalachianhistory.net/2007/03/moonshine-and-nascar.html https://whistlingandy.com/blogs/the-blog/transportation-of-moonshine-and-the-start-of-nascar that you blaim. Yes was for an illegal purpose but without them things would be much different and since we copy them in EU there wouldn't be guys like Gemballa or companies like AMG.
  5. So if he had made the tuning in his car by your way then it would last 50 years?
  6. Bought in 2000, heavy modified in 2010 and worked till 2021. The guy is a rally man and has other cars to work with. So where is the problem?
  7. 2010, here a Felicia 1.600c.c 16v by Nizamis, one of the most respectful racing driver (and mechanic) here in Greece, he has tested on track every Skoda model. 1. 1.600cc 16v engine from Leon 2. 248 degree camshafts and bench flow progression 3. Fabia BBZ 101 intake with Φ60 intake throttle from Ibiza Gti ΄96 (diesel) and Bmc Carbon filter 4. 4-1 free-flowing headers with Φ60 diameter pipes and Remus exhaust 5. 20vt petrol pump with 4 bar F.Petrol 6. Engine mounts from Octavia Tdi 7. Ceramic custom disc 200 diameter 8. Ecu Ibiza Gti΄96 9. Body kit Felicia Kit Car 10. Felicia Kit Car front ends 11. Adjustable suspension HP sporting from Felicia cup 12. 4-piston MTX calipers from Skoda Motorsport with split ventilated discs 280 diameter 13. 15-inch KRS Racing rims with Michelin 195/50/15 Result: 133 Hp with 176N/m at 4,700rpm
  8. Yes, that was the first thing that i noticed in this Felicia plus the 5 holes in front (probably to brink fresh air inside) but has no cabin filter below so maybe has that scoop as ram-air to bring air inside the engine bay. He didn't go crazy in weight reduction in the interior, the wheel are 15" am i wrong? Take a look the indication, 316455 Km and still is running and adding more Km every month ! Imagine in the past how many times heard the ''why don't you sell it and buy a new car?'' from some idiots ''i know everything for every sector''. Hear wrapping on the headers
  9. And you didn't push the Unlike button or made comments below that you disagree etc?
  10. Brake calipers from Ford Mondeo, yes but which model?
  11. UP ON THEM ! The @Thefeliciahacker will get a heart attack if he sees this.
  12. Fuel pressure measured via FP gauge ? Maybe the regulator does not work properly.
  13. The socket had not enough cable to come out to work properly, i was afraid that if i was pulling it could made a danage.
  14. As for the plastic cap of course it's removable. I didn't wanted to buy only this (even as a Used part) because the switch was a bit damaged. ________________________ This is the switch from Alhambra Ibiza Inca Cordoba , similar and you can see the 3 pins and the < > clips better, totally 4 parts.
  15. The problem was that there was not enough cable to pull out to install the new switch, i tried but failed. It was dark, cold and i was in a hurry and i didn't wanted to push things more (i was in the country and no car electrician close by) so i made a patent, put a screwdriver between the car body and the red socked so there would be enough resistance. This was i manage to make the ''click'', i push it back gently, it buttoned i made a test with he interior light and everything is fine. The photos are not good but i had no time for better but you can take an idea. Has any other fellow Skodian had the same problem with me? It's indeed not enough cable down there or it was just mine? I wonder in the drivers door things will be again so ''tight''?
  16. In the past i had a problem with my passenger door (interior) light switch, sometimes worked sometimes not. I spray a bit of Contact Cleaner and OK but after some years i realize that it became lose, was a bit slacked but since still working i let it as is. Few weeks ago i realize that the rubber cap was missing, probably from the wiping from the car wash the employee push it and lost. I couldn't let it like this so i ordered from a Cz store the switch, the parts code is 6U0 947 561 A. One night i decide to do the job, i realize that the slacken was because one of the clips was broken, has 2 like < and > shape. I use my fingers to remove the first part (button and spring) but i had to use a bent pliers for the second (with 3 pins like Z style) and the third part revealed with the 3 pins.
  17. What's your experience in this sector? You know they work from where? I already told you that, you should have done years ago and not now at 2025. Here is the answer from a famous programmer at 2021 as he send it to me:
  18. Battery, starter solenoid-motor are checked? What brand of coolant sensor you have? The yellow one? Have you run a diagnostic test for possible errors?
  19. Obviously you don't know the local market good enough. ECU chip tuning started in Greece at 1999. The problem is not that there are not good programmers here, the problem is that almost no one now will bother to work with your car since there are thousand other cars (NA or turbo) that waiting and we are talking for 300-800+ HP. Some have ''plug and play'' and some ''custom'' especially made for each client.
  20. Now but few years back you wanted an ECU chip: 😎
  21. I have tested: Paper filter (factory type) from 2-3 brands, gauze filter (K&N and BMC), POD (cone filter) 2 brands and just for experiential purposes No filter at all. The best results were from the k&N filter, beware to buy one from a local official dealer or a well known store and not from ebay because it's very easy to sell you an imitation. I have also modify my air filter box, i have removed the factory clapet and it's thermostat, make it smooth inside plus an extra hose from the grille to brink more fresh air inside, i kept the factory hose which brings air from the factory bumper. https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/514344-engine-cover-do-we-really-need-it/page/3/#findComment-5851822 I have some pictures added. The POD (cone filters) produce a rough sound and that's for show-off only in our car, keep in mind that i have a ECU chip plus custom exhaust from headers to the tail pipe (45mm external).
  22. Hello, i have a Felicia 1.3 ,year 2000 MPI with many modifications (not extreme). There are many sectors so you have to specify which one and your budget. Keep in mind that there are some restrictions here in GR so for example i can not say anything about an engine swap because it's illegal here and won't pass the MOT nominally but in other countries you can do it. By the way where are you come from?
