If i had a head gadket issue the G12 wouldn't had a discoloration and the expnansion cap wouldn't be dirty?

I have seen this in older mechanics sniffing the spark plugs for excessive gasoline presentance.

A compression test? The cylinders must show an identical or at least similar indication if things are alright?

I will look for it, one other problem now is that i had to add some coolant, the pressure check few months ago didn't show any leaks and i didn't see anything yesterday. Maybe there is a ''sneaky'' leak from the cap (the expansion tank is VIKA).

I appreciated the advise that you gave me about a thoroughly cleaning of the system but i couldn't do it so in next coolant change i will remove the expansion tank, clean it and let's see next time if there are any ''glitters'' left. The positive thing is that i found none of them stuck in the coolant sensor's base but i can not know if any of them left are inside the radiator.

Yes i didn't remove therostat housing, water pump, radiator etc for a thoroughly cleaning. No time and mostly i needed at least 2 days in the repair-shop so this could meant a lot of money.

Update: From a today's 20/1/2025 inspection also there are some ''glitters" on the left and right (upper) side of the tank but for sure not so much as the beginning. The only consolation in this case is that there are no ''glitters'' in the bottom of the expansion tank where is the hole that via a hose the coolant goes to the radiator.

I wouldn't say ''No'' to 256mm vented discs + 14" wheels + EBC yellow stuff pads. The problem (at least here in GR) is that you can not go to a brake shop and say to mechanic: "the brake calipers from the X brand model fit in Felicia, here are them plus the discs+pads, go install them". There is not a ''guide'' as ''how to" in the internet or a well-known patent which many drivers have done so almost everybody technician knows that works for sure.

I don't have an amplifier in purpose, i don't like loud music while driving. I use radio or USB stick for songs only and in low volume. I never liked the texture of the factory material in my Felicia and always envy the leather door panels that other luxury cars of that era had. I decide to give my panels to apply leather although: 1) I had no experience on this matter. 2) I had no other example ie another Felicia owner here of photos from a UK tuning magazine that i was reading those years. I start visiting Upholstery stores in the area and i heard many opinions: ''it can not be done, i want 750 euros for this, there is no gain to do it, i can put Leatherette but i can not guarantee that will last long, yes you can put Leatherette but only an experienced technician can do it, leave it as is, those panels don't stand leather" etc. Since i was not yet member in any forum (GR or foreigner) and there was any Felicia owner in the area to ask i took the risk, removed the 4 panels and went to an Upholstery store which asked me reasonable amount of money and took the responsibility to install real leather. Here are 3 examples as they look now after about 22 years of use. Keep in mind that things now in the market are different, more help (informations) from internet, different prices due to competition, different materials, some cars have them as Standard from the factory etc. This was a ''risky'' project back then but i never regretted for my decision. I know that the photos are not good and there is missing one but i will take care of it in a future post plus a small analysis for the Pros and Cons.
