Skoda Felicia door light switch
D.FYLAKTOS replied to D.FYLAKTOS's topic in Skoda Favorit, Skoda Felicia, Skoda Fun and Skoda FormanThe problem was that there was not enough cable to pull out to install the new switch, i tried but failed. It was dark, cold and i was in a hurry and i didn't wanted to push things more (i was in the country and no car electrician close by) so i made a patent, put a screwdriver between the car body and the red socked so there would be enough resistance. This was i manage to make the ''click'', i push it back gently, it buttoned i made a test with he interior light and everything is fine. The photos are not good but i had no time for better but you can take an idea. Has any other fellow Skodian had the same problem with me? It's indeed not enough cable down there or it was just mine? I wonder in the drivers door things will be again so ''tight''?

Skoda Felicia door light switch
In the past i had a problem with my passenger door (interior) light switch, sometimes worked sometimes not. I spray a bit of Contact Cleaner and OK but after some years i realize that it became lose, was a bit slacked but since still working i let it as is. Few weeks ago i realize that the rubber cap was missing, probably from the wiping from the car wash the employee push it and lost. I couldn't let it like this so i ordered from a Cz store the switch, the parts code is 6U0 947 561 A. One night i decide to do the job, i realize that the slacken was because one of the clips was broken, has 2 like < and > shape. I use my fingers to remove the first part (button and spring) but i had to use a bent pliers for the second (with 3 pins like Z style) and the third part revealed with the 3 pins.

2000 Skoda Felica 1.3MPI 50KW
D.FYLAKTOS replied to vladimirzootin's topic in Skoda Favorit, Skoda Felicia, Skoda Fun and Skoda FormanWhat's your experience in this sector? You know they work from where? I already told you that, you should have done years ago and not now at 2025. Here is the answer from a famous programmer at 2021 as he send it to me:

Skoda Felicia Has Issues Starting Up at Specific ECT
Battery, starter solenoid-motor are checked? What brand of coolant sensor you have? The yellow one? Have you run a diagnostic test for possible errors?

D.FYLAKTOS replied to vladimirzootin's topic in Skoda Favorit, Skoda Felicia, Skoda Fun and Skoda FormanObviously you don't know the local market good enough. ECU chip tuning started in Greece at 1999. The problem is not that there are not good programmers here, the problem is that almost no one now will bother to work with your car since there are thousand other cars (NA or turbo) that waiting and we are talking for 300-800+ HP. Some have ''plug and play'' and some ''custom'' especially made for each client.

2000 Skoda Felica 1.3MPI 50KW
D.FYLAKTOS replied to vladimirzootin's topic in Skoda Favorit, Skoda Felicia, Skoda Fun and Skoda FormanI have tested: Paper filter (factory type) from 2-3 brands, gauze filter (K&N and BMC), POD (cone filter) 2 brands and just for experiential purposes No filter at all. The best results were from the k&N filter, beware to buy one from a local official dealer or a well known store and not from ebay because it's very easy to sell you an imitation. I have also modify my air filter box, i have removed the factory clapet and it's thermostat, make it smooth inside plus an extra hose from the grille to brink more fresh air inside, i kept the factory hose which brings air from the factory bumper. https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/514344-engine-cover-do-we-really-need-it/page/3/#findComment-5851822 I have some pictures added. The POD (cone filters) produce a rough sound and that's for show-off only in our car, keep in mind that i have a ECU chip plus custom exhaust from headers to the tail pipe (45mm external).

2000 Skoda Felica 1.3MPI 50KW
D.FYLAKTOS replied to vladimirzootin's topic in Skoda Favorit, Skoda Felicia, Skoda Fun and Skoda FormanHello, i have a Felicia 1.3 ,year 2000 MPI with many modifications (not extreme). There are many sectors so you have to specify which one and your budget. Keep in mind that there are some restrictions here in GR so for example i can not say anything about an engine swap because it's illegal here and won't pass the MOT nominally but in other countries you can do it. By the way where are you come from?

Looking for a blower/heater motor possibly?
I have a ''bitter'' experience with water/moisture in my car. Bags this style https://www.planetstore.gr/images/thumbnails/1000/700/detailed/102/96-652.jpg are a bit dangerous because when they get fill with moisture sometimes have a leak all the liquid it pours down. I prefer this type https://expresspoint.gr/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/fe1352d8-154d-4c82-9ba9-76ad9ec41183-e1726769073375.jpg https://b.scdn.gr/images/sku_main_images/024421/24421510/20210319155207_syllektis_ygrasias_1000gr_70701291.jpeg of course with the car not moving. Newspapers below the carpets help a lot.

Skoda Felicia leatherette seat covers
D.FYLAKTOS replied to D.FYLAKTOS's topic in Skoda Favorit, Skoda Felicia, Skoda Fun and Skoda Forman2 examples from leatherette seat covers (and not only) from Greece. For sure it's not like real leather but does not cost a fortune like it. By the way i have checked my notes, mine are from January 2016 so i have them for 9 years. 💪

Favorit Windscreen Wipers and Washers Not Working
Update: I had some years to buy from this shop (skoda-parts.com) and recently i saw two things: 1) the shipping rates are far more less the before, en example 8,7 euros for an order to Greece via courier 2) is related with online-dily.cz s.r.o, the payment goes to skoda-dily.cz In the past i had problem ordering from other Cz stores because they had only the bank Transfer system for payment which meant more cost (commission) and delay for verification etc. Add the delay answering in the email and you have the whole picture but the guys in skoda-parts.com are far more better to do business with.

Skoda Felicia I will make the indicators LED
It's from Skoda Octavia not Felicia, lot of work. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=njxje8Yt6Yw Here is some relative from Felicia. If you are experienced electrician then go for it, otherwise let it go because many things can go wrong and the remove-install back process isn't easy.

My Felicia has a broken windshield wiper
D.FYLAKTOS replied to D.FYLAKTOS's topic in Skoda Favorit, Skoda Felicia, Skoda Fun and Skoda FormanI have found this video ''too late'' but i think it's good to be here in case of another member wants to remove his own rear wiper motor. Personally i never removed the Securing plate and the Latch (1:43-2:11), no needed.

Skoda Felicia leatherette seat covers
D.FYLAKTOS replied to D.FYLAKTOS's topic in Skoda Favorit, Skoda Felicia, Skoda Fun and Skoda FormanRear seats covers. As you casn see also are in almost perfect condition although there were ''used'' a lot. Many times put on them suitcases (luggages), bags, many kind of items (wood, metal etc) from IKEA, small furnitures etc and i have use them in the past for ''adult things'' and still look OK.

Skoda Felicia leatherette seat covers
My first seat covers were from leather (real) black colour mixed with synthetic cloth on the sides, lasted for some years and since i never liked the cloth cover seats i decide to buy a set of leatherette duo tone (blue and black). First lets see the definition of the word ''Leatherette" although there was a mention in another topic when there was a conversation https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/527418-steering-wheel-spacer-in-my-felicia/page/3/#findComment-5892471 about materials and a specific explanation by me https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/527418-steering-wheel-spacer-in-my-felicia/page/4/#findComment-5892817: so it is: "an artificial material that is made to look like leather" or ''a material constructed of paper or cloth and finished to simulate the grain, color, and texture of leather" plus these examples: https://www.merriam-webster.com/sentences/leatherette and since we clarify for what kind of material i mean let's move on to some details. I bought this set at December 2016 or January 2017 i am not 100% sure, the price was 150 or 170 euro, this is a photo from the store (not mine) described as "Reinforced Leatherette" but now the price is 190 euro. This is the passenger side, my wife is sitting there for 8 years (winter-summer) and no complains at all, there are some black marks on the ''seat bottom'' or ''padding" or ''cushion" but it's not my fault, was from a mechanic's tools which lay them on. As you can see after all these years are in almost perfect condition, i loved the duo tone and the feeling. No problem with summer heat and the only ''issue'' was with my seat but it was not a material's problem but mine since i wear a Duty belt and an item from it scratches the side or ''arm rest'' as some describe it. I had to take care of it from the beginning but i didn't paid attention so now i cover it with a Vinyl piece till i buy a new seat of seat covers from the same material of course. Yes i know real leather is more better but it's more expensive and difficult to find it here in seat covers and of course i don't ever think to make complete real leather stitched seats because the cost is astronomical. Few more photos are coming soon.

Felicia with extra set of fog lights
D.FYLAKTOS replied to D.FYLAKTOS's topic in Skoda Favorit, Skoda Felicia, Skoda Fun and Skoda FormanI manage to take a photo in a parking lot, it's almost dark and this helped to see the beam of those Auxiliary lights better althought the angle of the camera is not 100% proper. Some adjustments needed on the right one and as about the ''yellowish'' on the left it can be fixed but i don't want to remove the lens because i have added a special silicone for watertightness.
