  1. I never liked the engine cover, always causing me troubles so now it's time to modify it. I also made a repair on a crack. Next step is put back the two parts on engine and a 100Km road test in different conditions.
  2. Sandpapaer work is finished, no notches at all. Time for cleaning and painting.
  3. Let's wait for your new insurance contract for FIVA Felicia and it's terms.
  4. Why, how much you think will get from Allianz is someone broke your mirror? Keep in mind that there is no original part anymore so only an aftermarket can be accepted from the insurance.
  5. I had the cone removed for about 15 years, thus i could reach the 6100 rpm (5500 is the red zone) very easy with 2rd-3rd gear in Mountain Roads. You couldn't and still you can't.
  6. So if someone scratches heavily your door at night you wont get nothing from the insurance because the cost for a Felicia door (painting job) is about 180-200€ and that is beyond the exemption limit.
  7. Except all these notches (B) i will make smoother the left side (A), thus i believe more air will come inside smoother without turbulence. The same with the left side. I have finished the Dremel work and almsot finished with the sandpapers, then painting, cleaning and what's next? The cover, i will cut a part of it.
  8. https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/523298-im-back/?do=findComment&comment=5851914 These aren't? What we must add, key scratches-knife stabbing-pistol shooting-door kicking?
  9. Transalte this to Greek because i don't understand what you mean. Write the specific term that you had in your insurance contract that i have not.
  10. Yes you mention it avove about Allianz and i post about the Anyway programme. So the compensation limit is? The exception amount is? Mine are: Damages from a thief: 3.000 € (exemption 200 €) Audio system stolen: 400€ (exemption 200 €) Locks damages: 400 € (exemption 200 €) Fire from terrorist action: 2.000 € Fires from strikes-demonstrations (vandalism): 2.000 € (exemption 300 €) Material damage from the spread of fire: 10.000 € Broken glass (windows, windshields etc): 1.000 € (exemption 150 €) Record theft (documents of the car): 200 €
  11. Those notches would be present no matter the filter brand, are restrictions to the air flow and i have removed them via Dremel bit and sandpaper (photos tomorrow). After the refinishing work, cleaning, painting, install to the car and 100km test in variable conditions to measure the results.
  12. Which in your insurance is?
  13. Total theft (stolen vehicle): 2.000 € Partial theft (parts stolen): 2.000 € (exemption 200 €) Damages from a thief: 3.000 € (exemption 200 €) Audio system: 400 € (exemption 200 €) Locks damages: 400 € (exemption 200 €) Fires from strikes-demonstrations (vandalism): 2.000 € (exemption 300 €) Material damage from an uninsured vehicle: 6.000 € Broken glass (windows, windshields etc): 1.000 € (exemption 150 €) Natural damages (hail, floods, etc.): 2.000 € (exemption 300 €)
  14. Update: Since this disastrous, crappy, useless oil removed and since the Felicia isn't a vehicle like this to use 20W-50 i return to the 10W-40 Synthtetic, ENEOS now. I have it only for 1500 Km, mainly hard City Traffic plus 2 trips with Mountain Roads and Highway and of course the results are FAR more better that the previous miserable oil but i haven't tested it yes in hard summer conditions with high temperatures that we have here. The Fuel Consumption is FAR better compared to the 15W-50 (although the Synthetic 5W-40 beat it a little bit in City Traffic) so things are Ideal? Not so, i have faced something in Winter (had to do with the smoke from the exhaust) and i will explain it to you in the next post.
  15. I start searching for "Bell Mouth" and "Velocity Stacks", i have found these: My thought was to install a tube like this to make more air come inside the tube to the throttle like this https://www.briskoda.net/forums/uploads/monthly_2024_05/ScreenShot_20240507205715.thumb.png.421728bb6f43890beaaeca5a7e30a265.png but first of all i had to work inside that cylinder, to remove any notches and make it smoother.
  16. EUROINS AE https://www.euroins.gr/
  17. Update: before i show what i have done to my "engine cover" i want to show you the inside of the air filter box. I other car air filter box that plastic tube is a cone facing opposite or a cylinder and then there is a tube with almost same diameter which drives the air into the throttle. In Felicia it's opposite and maybe is has been done from the engineers for the regulations (noise) but personally i don't like it. That cone has some notches to fit with the air filter box upper part but the connection isn't 100% tight and some air was passing from the side plus due to clamp overtighten one side is a little bit pressed but i will fix it. I decide to remove that cone tube permanently and make some adjustments.
  18. @nta16 Here is a Ferrari Dino 246 GTS (restomod) with Koni suspention, what a lovely place for Sport driving. I wish we had routes like this close by.
  19. IF i had the money i would make another project, kept the body and glass from C2 only and all the others would be changed. Chassis (reinforced), new design wheels, new suspension, injection engine, different gauges (factory dashboard), different seats, new upholstery, modified central console, new lights, steering wheel, air condition etc. I have seen many videos with such modifications, outside old car, inside everything new. I also like the C3 generation but not it's dashboard.
  20. Google search: Skoda Felicia air condition drain hole Vypouštěcí otvor klimatizace Škoda Felicia (in Cz) Skoda Felicia air condition cleaning Čištění klimatizace Škoda Felicia (in Cz) Nothing. ☹️
  21. Brera has nothing to do with Felicia. i have posted elsewere my coverages. https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/520872-skoda-felicia-insurance-cost-coverages-in-2024/ Do you realy expect to get for your Felicia "Material damage from an uninsured vehicle: 100.000 €" 😲 Allianz Anyway https://www.allianzdirect.gr/el/insurance-car-allianz-anyway Allianz Anyway coverage is valid under the following conditions: The material damages of the insured vehicle and the costs of medical care and hospitalization related to physical injuries are not included and, consequently, cannot be compensated in the context of the Friendly Settlement Procedure. The material damages of the insured vehicle must not exceed in total and at any time the amount of 6,500 euros (cost of spare parts and labor costs, including VAT). .... The third vehicle is covered by an insurance policy in force at the time of the accident.
  22. Yeah? I have to explain to a PHILPA guy for all the modifications that i have made in my car, i have to wait to agree, i case that does not agree with the quality of work or if they have been made properly and said that he will reject me i have to argue with him to convince him. If after lot of blah blah (and preaching that the car must be Stock etc) everything is OK i have to do the paper work and get a certification so in case of an accident i will ask from the culprit's company to pay more huh? How much, double or triple? Have you an idea how many non-insured vehicles are on the GR streets? How many Gypsy drivers are in the streets with no papers or how many Pakistani or African drivers with driving licenses from Congo or Nigeria (for example) ? That PHILPA or FIVA certification will offer what in that case comparing to a driver which haven't got it as the 99,9999% are here?
  23. https://www.philpa.gr/en/applications Vehicle certification The process of issuing a FIVA Certificate includes the submission of an application as well as the physical Technical Inspection of the vehicle. There are two types of FIVA Certificate depending on the age of the vehicle: FIVA Youngtimer certificate, for vehicles from 20 to 29 years old, FIVA ID - Card certificate (or e - ID - Card in case of online application) concerning vehicles over 30 years old and always provided that the vehicle is in good, well-maintained condition, or has been properly rebuilt. In any case, multiple benefits for the vehicle arise from the issuance of the international FIVA Certificate such as: Capturing and recording the details of the vehicle. Significantly lower insurance costs. Compensation in the event of an accident not as an old vehicle, but as a historic or Youngtimer as the case may be. In the case of a historic vehicle, all the above benefits are added to those resulting from the E.O. plates. FILPA. https://www.philpa.gr/en/vehicle-certification Insurance All vehicles fitted with special plates must be insured, at all times. PHILPA insures through ALLIANZ the first car free of charge for each Member and ensures coverage for any remaining cars at a particularly low premium, commensurate with the very limited use. It is stressed that only insured vehicles may take part in Club events. In the event of not wishing to insure a vehicle, the Member shall sign an Affidavit to this effect and shall bear full responsibility for the consequences of the "Uninsured Vehicle Act". __________________________________ The ''properly rebuilt'' is controversial in my case.
  24. Since the summer is coming, exept the ''classic way" to clean our A/C with spary from above does anyone inside this forum knows if we can clear the A/C with the above way? Does anyone knows where is the Felicia's drain hole? With Fabia the @Breezy_Pete had the same issue https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/248275-ac-condensate-drain-location/ but photos are deleted.
  25. https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/523298-im-back/?do=findComment&comment=5851243 You still haven't decide yet, so i have to make all the effort to registered in FIBA and then make the 4 steps that you said and after all that marathon the specific benefit is? No one knows, not even you. You only expect to have a bigger value term in the future insurance contract. @nta16 Yes it's C2 and not C3, can be found here in Greece but only collectors buy them because they are not for every day use (high fuel consumption, no spare parts available etc). The C2 with rear seats never reached the market.
