  1. Super easy, 15-20min job. Don’t think there’s more space between the turbo and firewall Superb vs Golf R but it’s a non issue.
  2. CTS turbo inlet pipe and hose fitted. Didn’t need the hose but the inlet pipe makes a noticeable increase of intake sound and once tuned will add more power.
  3. Would recommend the Hankook Ventus S1 Evo3 SUV
  4. No more 272, Skoda restored the “lost” power for GPF models for MY21/22
  5. - No Passat sedan or liftback model, and the Arteon has been axed. - Yes, the Passat was designed side-by-side with with the Superb so the packaging will be closer than before seen. Doubt it'll be 100% the same but near on identical.
  6. Interior (mostly) revealed in this video - dashboard looks very Octavia inspired which is a good thing to me \ https://youtu.be/1AO1RTFZ6-4
  7. @beej the prices seem to be a lot more similar between 235/245 in Europe and probably contribute a slight bit to fuel economy. The whole VW group generally use the same tyre size for their cars (i.e. Tiguan/Kodiaq/Tarraco all use the same tyre size for a given rim size/width) which may be another factor.
  8. The side of the Passat and Superb look identical. I'm going to very disappointed if the only exterior difference between the two are the front and rear but that's the way things seem to be shaping up.
  9. I’m sure than you’re more than smart enough to know that size isn’t the only factor in braking performance.
  10. @Bap33 to be honest you don’t really need to go with physically bigger brakes with the stock Golf R ones with come with the 2.0 TSI 4x4. Rotor and pad upgrade along with better brake fluid will be more than enough even for light track work.
  11. I removed the Skoda lettering from my Superb and just had Superb and 4x4 there so it’s more symmetrical
  12. Test drive: This one has way more detail about the actual interior/exterior bits
  13. You were planning on going straight to stage 3? Just buy an RS now and wait for stage 3 tunes to come out - what’s the rush?
  14. Yep gen 4. Limiting factor at the moment is the TCU as less people have unlocked it for EA888.4 use. With the introduction of the EA888.4 they revised the DQ381 so now being informally named DQ381.2 or G2. Some can be flashed and some can’t currently.
  15. It’s the cloth on the dash…pretty clear in the pic
  16. Cat is out the bag ladies and gentlemen https://www.motor1.com/photo/7331328/2024-skoda-kodiaq-spy-photo/ https://www.motor1.com/news/674148/2024-skoda-kodiaq-interior-spy/
  17. Tuning is more of a software thing, not hardware nowadays. But i relent. You can already tune the 245PS EA888.4 to 345PS https://www.racingline.com/ea888-4-garrett-software at a reasonable price.
  18. The R has always had a different (larger) turbocharger, not quite the same engine.
  19. Probably a microfibre lined piece of plastic with a neat place to stash it just like all the other 'simply clever' stuff
  20. For christ sake. Why does the VW Group have to gatekeep so much. So I have to get a Q5 PHEV if I want an AWD PHEV from the group...
  21. New pads and rotors (waiting on rear pads to arrive towards the end of next week). All up around £460. Dealer wanted £720 to do just the rears (parts + labour) which was a laugh!!!
  22. https://uk.motor1.com/news/673281/2024-skoda-superb-spied-dual-exhaust/
  23. There was/is an option on Superbs to have Nivomat self-levelling suspension. Have a read here (you'll need to use a translation service): https://www.skodaforum.nl/forum/i/ervaringen-met-nivomat.34050/
