  1. Is the “ lump or bulge” at the back of the rear offside wheel arch liner not there to accommodate the fuel tank filler pipe? Even if it’s not I wouldn’t worry too much about it.
  2. Update maps available here, also video guide. https://updateportal.skoda-auto.com If it is Columbus unit you have any 32gb SD card will do, just download latest maps data and unzip to fat32 formatted card.
  3. My 2004 vRS was fitted with ContinentalSportcontacts.
  4. Where is this documented please.
  5. Don’t know exactly what manufacturers systems that VAG use, but this from Hella makes for interesting reading. https://www.hella.com/techworld/uk/Technical/Automotive-lighting/Headlamp-levelling-system-838/#
  6. The piggy back needs 2 fuses in, a 2 or 5 Amp for the piggy back circuit and the rear wiper fuse you removed to fit the piggyback goes in the other. If you plug the piggyback in the wrong orientation, the piggyback circuit won’t work with just the piggyback fuse in.
  7. 7 weeks is quick, normal lead time is around 12 weeks.
  8. The comprehensive guide at the start of this thread shows what fuse to use and also warns not to disconnect air bag switch. Visit to dealer required to clear airbag fault.
  9. Local dealer, or here... https://www.theskodashop.co.uk/products/touch-up-paint-pencil-grey-quartz-metallic https://seat-skoda.caffynsparts.co.uk/parts/skoda-parts/skoda-touch-up-paint/grey-skoda-touch-up-paint/skoda-metalic-grey-touch-up-paint/
  10. After 40+ years of driving manual cars, my current Kodiaq is the first DSG I’ve ever driven, and I don’t think I’d ever go back to manual now. After the learning curve of the first week you soon master feathering the brake pedal which allows the car to creep without the autohold coming on, or as above turning it off for certain manoeuvres.

Have you tried these guys? https://www.briskoda.net/forums/forum/160-dpm-performance/

If sure if you search through the BossFox 700+ BHP Yeti vRS project he fitted KWv3 coilovers. Golf mk 5 fronts and AudiQ3/ Tiguan rears as there was no dedicated kit for Yeti.
  13. If you ever need replacement Apple approved virtually unbreakable lighting cables, Costco normally have a set of 3 Juice cables for around £20.
  14. Manoeuvre braking is controlled by the PDC not radar. My SEL doesn’t have any rear radar as no blind spot etc, but still applies the brakes when the PDC picks up an nearby object.
  15. In my 2 years of ownership I have never felt the need to use an acidic/ alkali wheel cleaner. I clean my Sirius alloys with the same Mcguires shampoo as the bodywork, and an EZ detail small wheel brush. Would attach photo to show they’re as good as they were when new, but it’s chucking it down
  16. Interesting reading here... https://www.kwik-fit.com/blog/choosing-the-right-4x4-tyres-and-crossover-suv-tyres-for-you

If your 17” wheels are 7J 17 ET45 5x112 pcd and have 215x55x17 tyres fitted there will be no problem.
  18. ET33 is the wrong offset for a Yeti, as well as the Karoq.
  19. As above, unless your on an incline or pressing the accelerator down, forcing a downshift it sounds like you have a problem.
  20. You can choose which model year manual you want to download https://manual.skoda-auto.com/004/en-com/Model/Karoq_NU Looking at the latest 2020 manual, light assist is on page 52.
  21. Unless you get the updated wiring loom/ boot , the wires will just break again.
  22. Must have been “ approved “ recently. VW spec approved lists are hard to find this is the most recent I’ve ever seen and Comma is not on it. In the past Comma oil containers just used to state “ recommend by Comma for VW 504/507 applications “. https://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forums/threads/list-of-volkswagen-approved-oils.283134/#post-4651369
  23. As above, take all the discounts/ benefits of a PCP deal, and cancel and pay off within 14 days, plenty on here have done it.
  24. New 1.5 TSI come with the sump filled with VW 508spec oil. It appears normal for dealers to fill with VW 507 5W/ 30 oil at first service. The 1.4 TSI will be VW 507 5W/30 spec oil. Be aware that no Comma oils are VW approved.
  25. Don’t know if this thread is of any use to you...
