You did have the wiper arms in the maintenance position so as to avoid hitting the bonnet. Incase you didn’t, if you turn on ignition then turn it off, flick the wiper stalk down the wiper arms raise and park upright on the screen to allow wiper blades to be changed easily.

The Kamiq 1.0 Tsi comes with either 95 or 116 hp, sounds like you might have the 95 hp version, as by all accounts on here, the 116 hp versions are very capable.

How old is your car, if new Skoda connect service is free for 3 years. If older the it does incur a cost.

The dashboard icon for headlights on has gradually disappeared on all Skoda model now. The only indication that headlights are on are the infotainment changing to dark mode and the what I would sidelight indicator under the auto symbol on the switch turns green when the headlights are on.

Have you tried resetting the one touch operation as per the owners manual. Open window fully using switch on driver door, once window open press switch again to open, a click will be heard, now close window fully , then again operate switch in close position, again a click will be heard. This should reset one touch operation on that window.

It looks like you have set a speed warning at 20 mph, the traffic sign recognition system should read speed limit signs and warn you as mentioned above if you go over the speed limit. You can adjust how far over the limit before warning in the settings and I’m sure you can set the warning sound level there as well, perhaps you are not hearing the warning.

Turning the ignition on with a key or by pushing a button does exactly the same thing. More likely that that method of pushing down pedals and counting doesn’t do anything, especially not reset DSG gearbox. You need VCDS or similar to do that if you really think it needs reset.

I have a 2024 Kamiq so similar sat nav I presume. Have you checked preferences as you may have ticked to avoid certain road types, also if you select quickest route it will divert you round road works, traffic jams etc so may take less obvious routes. Is your map software the latest, believe mine is now on 26.1 so must have updated recently OTA. Also must add I’ve never experienced the problems you seem to be having.

On previous Skoda turning off the rear wiper when reversing option stopped the intermittent rear wiper operation. Just meant you have to flick the rear wiper if reversing, a small price to pay for the annoying rear wiper operating when not required, especially when it does it on a dry rear screen.

Only the one jack required, jack up rear remove rear wheel, fit spare to rear, then remove front wheel with puncture and replace with wheel removed from rear.

It’s standard practice to fit space saver/ smaller spare to rear.

My Monte Carlo has 18” wheels and has a 16” spare wheel, but the tyre profiles are different profiles resulting in a very slight difference in circumference.

Must be region/ model specific as my 2024 UK Monte Carlo has Apple car play connectivity.

You unlock by holding the handle, not touching the sensor. You only need to touch the sensor area indicated to lock.

Dashcam piggybacked off fuse 43 rear wiper, which according to consensus on here is the one to use and I have done on 2 Yetis and 2 Kodiaq’s previously.

As above it’s fuse 54 your looking for. My fuse box is same layout as yours and handbook diagram, and as mentioned slightly more populated.

I have used the driving score previously but earlier in the year it was removed from the app, and posts on here confirmed the same. Have you got the driving score on a current version of MY Škoda as it certainly hasn’t re appeared on mine.
