  1. They do, on the Kodiaq if you press the lock button on the remote, then press the KESSY lock indent on the door handle the indicators flash confirming KESSY is disabled. You need to use the key fob to unlock.
  2. 2 diabolical apps being merged together will make one doubly diabolical app
  3. The change from kph to mph on the maxidot definitely needs VCDS to change on a Yeti.
  4. From the Karoq configurator, looks like you get tinted window in the Karoq and not the blinds the Kodiaq gets.
  5. Just tried configuring some Karoqs on the configurator and appears to work for me. What model are you looking at and what options are you trying to add?
  6. So it will be twice as bad then

There has been one, 700+HP and documented here....
  8. As said all the winter tyres setting does is allow you to set a speed warning as winter tyres normally have a much lower max speed than the original summer tyres. It certainly doesn’t change any braking profiles or anything else.
  9. So an 17 3/4” blade on the passenger side instead of a 21” is quite satisfactory, I wouldn’t think so.
  10. Bosch A864S appear to consist of a 26” and an18” blade which aren’t the correct size for a Kodiaq. They appear to be correct for a Karoq if you know someone with one
  11. The Karoq has the same AFS LED headlights as the Kodiaq. Only the Superb and new Octavia have the full LED matrix headlights. https://www.skoda-storyboard.com/en/press-releases/innovative-lighting-technology-for-maximum-safety-skoda-utilises-led-headlights/ The link I previously posted has the date 2015 on the bottom.
  12. Most likely to be broken wires in the body to door loom. Plenty posts in the Roomster section how to repair.

A rope with an eye in it or web sling you could choke through your towing eye and put the shackle on the other vehicle

Would a smaller 1.5T D shackle instead of a bow shackle not be better idea. I would be throwing that bow shackle away anyway, especially if it doesn’t screw right in.

  16. Strange I’ve never had any problems downloading map updates for my previous Yetis and current Kodiaq. I too have an ancient laptop and does take a while to download, but it’s never taken more than 3/4 of an hour to upload to the car, and the ignition hasn’t had to be on either. It can also update whilst driving and will carry on where it left off if you stop.
  17. It’s not even 1” when you compare OEM to Bosch
  18. Can’t see why you’d need a bigger than original blade.
  19. The Bosch passengers side blade is the correct size it’s only the driver’s side that is slightly smaller when compared to original. As said above it doesn’t make any discernible difference to the wiped area, and are streak/ noise free unlike the originals.
  20. It’s probably going to turn out to be something simple and a cheap fix, but you throwing money on a cambelt, clutch and flywheel that wasn’t required doesn’t make sense, especially your last comment.
  21. So has the clutch, flywheel and timing belt been replaced and you still have the noise? Would help if you said what engine your Yeti has.
  22. I fitted Bosch aerotwins having used them previously. The drivers wiper is slightly shorter than OEM but I’ve never noticed any difference or bits of screen that I wish were wiped.
  23. Could have been pre registered by the dealer/ ex demo, so would show them as first owner.
  24. Kenny R replied to mrhooty's topic in Skoda Yeti
All the 1.2/ 1.4 petrol Yetis have the dry clutch somewhat unreliable DSG.
  25. Expansion tank should have required coolant marked on it G12 or G13
