  1. Oosh sacha. Where is that iPad holder from.. ? Greg ;-)
  2. Had it with my suoerb 4x4 when I brought it at 30k miles. Front wheels spinning and traction light flashing, no rear drive but no squealing.. The Pump had been replaced and was replaced again but still the same.. controller then changed but still the same, wiring then checked fully, no faults so they finally replaced the haldex clutch packs which on inspection had basically turned to blamanche... all done under warrantee at Skoda hence having to replace pump and controller before clutch packs. We all knew it was clutch pack but Skoda had to go through the motions before replacing haldex unit... The squealing maybe the pump bu99ered so you may get away with a new pump but most likely the plates are stuffed. There is a haldex specialist in Crewe that I spoke to about it all and he explained that he is replacing 3 units a day !! Mainly from the tt’s golf r’s and S3’s. Because they run higher power and put more pressure on the plates
  3. if anyone interested pop me a pm.. full set for superb 280 but have the golf r rear calipers and carriers too if anyone with a 4x4 fancies an upgrade
  4. I have a 190 superb running a racingline map with 235bhp and 540nm. Has done 80k miles. Had a problem with haldex when I first brought it but that was before the map. Have now done 60k miles with new haldex plates and no problems. The figures you are talking from your 150remap will be online with the standard superb and all same driveline components so absolutely no problem
  5. My broinlaw had this with the yeti at about 70k miles however tgat started to swell and seize and vibrate like crazy at 60mph and the replacement was something daft. I have a 4x4 suoerb sportline diesel and touch wood that seems fine even with 540nm of torque
  6. Think you’ll find spax are designed more for classic cars or track use. There are better out there for a big barge. Koni special actives have been fitted a few times by guys on here with great success and reviews. Might be worth a read before taking the plunge
  7. I went with wesfalia and can’t fault it. That’s the one that the fit from factory I believe
  8. Darkside developments did it with a golf.. the head design is very restrictive aparently so even with 10k worth of work and mods they were still only getting 270-280bhp... it would be cheaper to do a bi-tdi conversion...
  9. Have you been doing any work at home with metal. Yoy need some fall out remover. Wash car, spray fall out remover on... let it turn purple.. wash off the. Repeat a couple times. Tgat should sort it..
  10. So as above. Not washer hose. Anyone else had this. Very confused.
  11. May not be the pump.. mine did this and the pump was brand new.. long story short and several visits to dealer and it was the clutch plates that had disintegrated. Skoda superb sportline. Replaced controller and pump before they did the plates all under warrantee but now replace oil and clean gauze every 30k
  12. H&R springs on my 190 4x4 combi and it sorted it to some extent but still needs shocks so thinking of some koni special actives
  13. I’ll just leave this here.. it is a superb 190 though not octy 184
  14. I got these the other week from AUTODOC. Arrived in 4 days zimmerman sport.
  15. No problem just as normal. brought these from AUTODOC last week. They are Zimmerman sport discs. Had them on from of the superb and an octy before that and they have last a bloody good amount of time. Upgrading the back ones to the vented 310mm like the petrol 289’and golf r etc
  16. Sasha.. this is life changing stuff. Awesome. Mine is late 2016 but I’ll give it a go next week 👍🏻
  17. Standard curve and mapped. You can see the torque limiters on the gearbox limiting at bang on 400nm
  18. Mine 190 diesel, dsg 4x4 sportline. Racingline map 235 bhp and 540nm. Consumption slightly better on a run but Obviously as expected will use more if really pushed.
  19. Absolute legend thank you for that I’ll have a little read. Have done pad changes on it so no worries with how to get calipers in but just didn’t know about bleeding new calipers in. the above guide is just the job.. Ta
  20. As above. Have got some 310 vented discs and calipers to upgrade the non vented 300 on the diesel sportline. (Already upgraded fronts to 340mm) is there any secrets to bleeding the new ones once they are in. I have vcds so know about the pad change wind back function and have done a couple but is there a Maintenence mode where I can bleed them normally with a vacuum kit. If so do I have to close or change mode first then bleed or bleed with brake change mode still open tks
  21. I’ve got my original 312mm calipers off my superb sportline. I upgraded to the 340mm because it’s heavy and 540nm of torque after a map. With the 312 I reckon it was underbraked for the size and weight and the fact it’s 4x4. As mark said above, The 340mm on yours maybe to big and heavy but everyone has their reasons and the power upgrade is certainly a good one.. but yes the 312 would look good and work well. Pop me a pm mate any octavia/superb/yeti/kodiaq/golf/Passat will fit. You may need back plates to suit though too ive used Zimmerman sport coated drilled drilled discs and brembo xtra pads for the 340mm set up and they’ve had a hard time and still worn well. aso if you go for the 312mm set up brembo do an XTRA LINE disc which is drilled
  22. Just a thought... the rubber donuts that join the prop shaft to gearbox and diff.. are they ok !!! The earlier yetis 4x4 2014- had the problem where these would seize and split causing a vibration at higher speeds !!!
  23. 4x4 system needs a service every 20-30k I’d say. Haldex oil change and filter clean. Mine was shot when I brought it at 30k but had replaced under warrantee, haldex plates are made of blamanche. Dsg oil change every 40k. Afaik cambelt is 4 years 100k. If you travel lots of distance the 4x4 dsg sportline 190 is ace. That’s what I have. If you don’t do a lot of distance the 4x4 sportline 280 is a beast. 2wd Is generally better on fuel by about 5mpg. If you want more grunt, diesel maps to around 230bhp and 500nm. Petrol 280 is 360bhp with stg 1. Petrol 220 would map to around 300bhp.
  24. Mine with 20mm on. Rear and I think 15mm on front. Just didn’t seem to handle as sharp
