  1. So remap done today. By clp tuning in Sheffield. Tvs ecu stge2 and tcu 2+ will post up pics and a vid later…… 360bhp BUT 530nm of torque. That makes a huge difference. 0-60 mid 4’s and here’s the big one.. 60-120 under 12 seconds. At least 80hp gain from 3k onward right through and 42mpg on the 120 mile journey home
  2. Mine is a late 18 but MY 19 I believe tvs have cracked the later model ecu and tcu. I know they have defo done a 2020 car recently
  3. I’m booked in for a tvs stage2 ecu and stage 2+ tcu tune on Thursday So I’ll let you know results
  4. Fitted them back on to the new one today. Old one was 66 plate diesel 4x4 and the new one is a 68 plate 272 so front springs were different but all in all so much better.. bump stops swap straight over. Kind of. Because off the bigger diameter damper rob tube you have to drill out the centres of the bump stops slightly. Front and back. Everything else just swaps straight over. I did replace top mounts because you might as well. Can use slightly shorter drop links if lowering but not essential
  5. Heated seats ?? They’ll switch on but not heat
  6. Did you get this sorted mate.. I had a bcm pack up on mine at 110k miles. 400 quid part and many hours labour to refit and recode
  7. Set of koni special actives will sort the wallowing
  8. When you do the brake lining change you still have to wind them back in manually once the calliper has wound back the electric motor
  9. Car was beautiful after fitting and handled lovely.. car sold now tho however I did remove konis and they are going on the new one.. 272 sportline this weekend
  10. These will drop around 15mm from sportline spec.. or 30mm standard spec. I spoke to koni about using lowering springs with the fsd’s and they say as long as it’s less than 40mm drop they are totally happy and will work as normal
  11. Koni special actives with H&R on.. car sold now but have retained the koni is so will be fitting them to the new 272 I do however have a set of H&R springs for sale for a 4wd diesel estate if you want them
  12. As fencer has said. Box will have torque limits set at 400 but if mapped it will take 500 no bother.. most tuners limit the dq250 torque at 500 but some running more than that.. my diesel superb (before My 272) went to racingline for some development and that ended up running 234bhp and 540nm with no long term probs. I did 110k miles in it and 80k of those were at 540nm..
  13. Only difference is the map.. everything else is exactly the same. Turbo, injectors etc. I think the reason it went to 272 was the addition of the Gpf’. lots of tuners thought the Gpf would restrict power but a few now seem to be realising this is not the case… Revo have done a blog on tuning the Gpf cars
  14. Yea as above but also compare a 380-390bhp superb estate to a 450bhp Audi S6 and per ton you are 5-10hp up per ton on an S6. For less than 30k. That’ll do me thank you 😊
  15. That is just a tcu and ecu map. No other mods..
  16. I have just come from a mapped diesel sportline 4x4 estate to a late 2018 272. 7 speed with opf/Gpf. Certainly a come down In Terms of low down grunt, the previous diesel was 540nm. However I am seriously considering the tvs stage 2+ dsg map and the stage 2 ecu map they do.. that should take to 520ish nm and 380-390bhp. Quite excited at the prospect. I am off to Austria boarding in April so may make the stop in hollandd at their HQ for the work. 😉 I have already fitted turbo elbow, muffler delete and silicone hose coupled to a pikey r600 mod with a bmc filter
  17. Tvs engineering do a life extender and drivability map for the dsg.. It’s their stage 2+ I think they call it. Supposed to make a huge diff.
  18. As title: H&R springs suit tdi 4x4 mk3 superb estate/combi springs only NOT shocks pic of car with them on
  19. Cool. I run Michelin pilot sport 4’s mega grip and really good in wet and good life span.. not sure what you guys have over there. Presume the same.
  20. Nice mate you’ll enjoy a lot.. yea I looked for a sunroof too but reports of them leaking and cracking put me off. Especially when I rob a roof box fully loaded when we head off to the snow. how is it ?
  21. This was on H&R springs and 15mm spacers all round
  22. Nice mate. Yea born in Hornsby. the only probs I had with my previous diesel 4x4 soo ee twine was the body control module failed at 110k miles. Heated seats and interior lighting just stopped working.. apart from that mate I love the things
  23. Gday down there. Where are you in aus. I used to live in Nowra NSW. Uk now. ;-( lol. I’ve just traded a 190diesel 4x4 sportline with 115k miles on for a 272tsi sportline 4x4 . Equivalent of your 206kw sportline.. the new one has 40k miles on and absolutely no worries.. dsg oil should be changed at 40k, haldex pump removed, cleaned and fresh oil in, then just the usual service items.
  24. Vw/Skoda/Audi 19” space saver kit wheel, jack, brace, tow eye and 19” wheel. Really rare as 19” £190
