  1. H&R springs will fix a lot of that. Then koni special active shocks if the budget will stretch
  2. Ahhhh 2021 not sure mate. They certainly do stuff for the mk8 golf and the gym so worth a look
  3. Have you not got a racingline dealer near you in aus !!
  4. I’ve took my koni and h&r’s off today because I’m trading in for a 272 from my diesel and my goodness that’s when you notice the difference. It’s all squishy weird haha. konis will be going straight back on the new one that’s for sure lol
  5. Spot on mate no worries. Thank you. looks like the mapping will be a few Hp down on the 280 but I’m sure I’ll live with 360bhp and 500nm how’s the fuel economy. Obvs be down on my current superb sportline 4x4 mapped diesel but 40 on a run ??
  6. Yea I know what the part is and what it does just wondering if this 68 plate will have one on it ??
  7. What I am intrigued to know is if it’s Gpf ??
  8. Edited from previous post sorry got the reg wrong NA68 red sportline superb estate 272 4x4 traded in down in the Nottingham Mansfield area but registered in the north east England also this weird logo on boot
  9. Hi mate thanks for that. Yea it’s defo a 272 according to paperwork.: have just edited the title, it’s a 68 reg not an 18 main thing for me is that it has the 7 speed box.. not sure if they did the 280 with the 7 speed. 👍🏻
  10. They will be ‘superb’ for the superb. Have them on mine with H&R springs. Made a huge difference to ride quality, wallowiness and crashyness
  11. Hi folks.. I’ve put a deposit down in a 2018 272 sportline plus. Velvet red. just wondering if anyone on here used to own it. Looks like it came to the dealer in the Nottingham area around November but was first registeeed in the north east. NA68 reg
  12. Battery will need coding in and if component protection has come in then it may need u locking at main dealer:: this helps to protect against using stolen parts
  13. Can confirm they work amazingly with H&R springs but that will lower the ride. Very nice shocks 👍🏻
  14. As above really guys. Looking to move on to a 272 sportline. seeing if there is any interest before I trade in for a 272.. spec sept 16 sportline 4x4 tdi 190 Removable westfalia towbar with dedicated wiring full dealer history 112k miles cambelt replaced at 105k dsg oil done every 40k at dealer haldex oil replaced and pump removed and cleaned by myself every 10-15k rear discs and pads done recently oil and filter service done this week MODS Racingline OEM+ map 235bhp 540nm koni special active shocks H&R Springs 340mm calliper upgrade 340mm clubsport belled discs BMC panel filter Darkside silicone inlet hose car has been meticulously looked after as it been a workhorse so couldn’t afford it to ever break down. Most of the mileage has been motorway. towbar has only been used with bike carrier. £14.5k. if I can get this for it then I won’t have to faff about and remove parts to put back to standard before I trade.
  15. Are the new belts now Kevlar ?? Hence last longer
  16. Could be the bcm on its way out. Mine just stopped working along with dash lights and stereo lights. Also heated seats stopped. It’s called the comfort control module. 400 quid part then some hours to fit and recode
  17. Haha yea I was only joking.. normal fuel is fine really but just not for me and I’m sure the vehicle would be fine with it as they are designed that way 👍🏻
  18. We’ll I’m most defo a fuel snob anyway so I’d certainly not put it anywhere near anything less than 97 !! And the one I’m looking at has only done 29k miles so it’s still recoverable if previous owner has run it on standard haha
  19. That’s about what I get anyway from diesel on continent trips and Ireland runs. Generally with roof box, luggage, wife and 2 kids
  20. That I am worried about initially.. my diesel is 235bhp and 540nm so I think that’d be a factor. However a mapped 280 would give those kinds of torque figures anyway and 370bhp
  21. My mapped diesel runs on optimax purely because I’m a fuel snob and I’ve never had any problems with every car I’ve run on it !! So yes £102 fill up the other day so that’s no bother.. seems the petrol is about 5 p cheaper Than the diesel too… I only get around 43 on a run with the diesel and loaded with box probs 37 ish so it sounds like it’ll not be a huge difference
  22. Evening folks… Looking at moving on from my current mapped diesel 4x4 sportline to a 2018 280 in dragon green.. could some of you guys that have them give me an idea on fuel economy please. Mapped and un mapped if poss.
  23. You Tried a racingline dealer near you mate. Their oem+ stuff for your engine was developed on the octy tdi. Think there is a place in bath.. have a look on their website.
  24. I have a sportline 4x4 and went to H&R to lower it and that helped. Then I fitted some koni special actives and that has done it lovely. no more wallowing now lol. Also softer and less highly on a roads but really stiffens up around bends. Very clever shocks
