Superb Turbo replacement options
Juhagpl replied to badgerman's topic in Skoda Superb Mk II (2008-2015)
I would do it officially due to the warranty of their work. If at the end it is not a turbo , you will have much more chance for complaining then in a private service... -

black gloss exterior B pillar trim
Juhagpl replied to Warmonkry's topic in Skoda Superb Mk II (2008-2015)
Does anyone changed that? It could be quite difficult due to the overlapping chrome lines. -
For me it went away for a half a year but You can expect to come back soon. No i had to change completely. 1000eur, but the service told , the factory instruction requires to change some pipe as well.

Hi, i am also looking for a monte carlo 1,2Tsi, and i found one. They say it is from 2012, but i think the car was produced 2011. I have the back side paper and some code. May i know from this if this has a timing chain and if has been upgraded with the new set? I remember they put a code once fixed that issue. Btw, the word “Ambi” is correct for monte carlo? Souldnt be different? Thanks for feedback

Do You know the amount of the brake fluid that is needed? i got an offer from a dealer and they qouted 1,2 liter. I would order separately and i am wondering if one liter is enough?what is the spec?

I fully agree above. The rear disc is bit cheaper at brembo but in hungary the front disc is nearly the same price. For 170hp i would not play with aftermarket, maybe for fabias yes. In my previous cars the front disc always waved after 1 year even if i had no hard brakes in highway. so now i collected the price for an aftermarket set (bosch, ate, brembo) and it is not really cheaper. Anyway i just wanted to help if somebody wants to order oem brakes or any other stuff there. cheers ; )

It is apple vs pear. for sure aftermarket much cheaper, but in my view only ATE is very close to the oem brakes. The rest is just something.... deformating etc...
-
Order the kit from ahw-shop.de, it is much cheaper. I wouldnt think about other then oem, maybe continental if they have a kit for this car. (I think so)

Hello All, i am thinking to change to fabia from superb (dont laugh at me) and thinking about which engine and years are the better one. I heard several engine types to have design failures, like 1,4 tsi, 1,2 liter. Actually i am not limiting myself if diesel or petrol i would have. Dont want to spend so much money, around 7000eur. so what would You say? (for sure the failures which can be solved cheap, dont count...) thanks!

Or castrol has as well. It should be good
-
Yeah that is difficult to check afterwards
-
Did you check if the rear suspension is still okey? Maybe - were there any suspension change in the past? There are lot of different types are available, they might mix with a wrong one. (For sport susp, increased height susp, etc....)

Hello all my uncle is planning to get some years old car most probably with adblue system. On the internet i did not found the answer. Is that adblue system could have the same fullness problem (or how to call it) like the DPF system, if the car is used more often in the city?

Dual mass or single mass fly wheel
Juhagpl replied to Imykhan's topic in Skoda Superb Mk II (2008-2015)
Honestly i dont understand why this part should be converted. I guess only the price, but if We have such a car , we should consider such price level. We will not have a superb by the price of a citigo. -
Thats why i am not fully confident their investigation. Unfortunately they did not tell the code itself. If next time coming up, i will take care to get the code.

I think i will wait a bit. I only hope not coming back on the road back with my son:) i have not yet made the emission fix recall, bit it would be one option now to fix it then have some guarantee on the egr if it is true also in hungary...
