Thanks for the quick reply. I’ve seen the AliExpress ones but can’t find an option that delivers to the UK. Was looking at the Maxton ones but now I’m not too sure. With regard to spacers, I’ve taken a couple of “before” pics down the side of the car, so will take the same ones “after” and post on here. I’ve not gone mad, 11mm fronts and 13mm rears. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Sorry have one more follow up on this thread and your car. I see that you have the light frames for the front fogs, how do these fit? Are they glued or do they have adhesive strips or do you need to drill any holes? I’m on the cusp of ordering some but want to be sure of what I’m getting myself into. I’m sorting my spacers this Friday. 👍🏼

Yes I know it’s been a long time BUT, I used this “tutorial” today and had my mudflats fitted in 45 minutes without removing a wheel. Hugely useful. Thank you for posting. 👍🏼

It’s one of the views in the virtual dash. if I had the two round dials, I could toggle through the views in the left hand one and it had engine oil, gearbox oil and water temp I think. All three. I found it very useful. I had the VZ2 310 4drive, so not sure if the available views change with model / spec, but can’t think why they would. 👍🏼

100%. On my Formentor it also had a gearbox oil temp aswell as engine oil. I do miss that.

Got to be honest, I haven’t seen another one on the road. Seen black and white and red. Seen Business Grey. But not Quartz. whereabouts are you with all your Quartz Grey Superbs? 🤣🤣🤣👍🏼

Hi all. Just interested in some shared experiences if possible. My 272 has got to be the quickest car to get the water temp to 90 that I have ever seen. Like literally 5 minutes and it’s already there. Admittedly we’ve had some high temps recently so the ambient start point hasn’t been too low, but even so, this car just seems to get to temp rapid. Is this the same with other S3 owners? For context, I’ve just given back a 2021 lease Formentor 310 after 3 years, same engine / drive etc and that took far longer to get to 90degrees than my Superb. So I guess I’m looking for confirmation or otherwise that this is normal. cheers

@JR RS are you running spacers and if so what width have you gone for? I want some for my 272 but don’t want to go mad with them. Yours look just right to me. 👍🏼

Hi appreciate it’s been some time since this thread but could you possibly post some pics of your car with the 12mm spacers from maybe down the side of the car to show how much the Vega’s fill the arches width ways? Love the look of yours with the lowering kit. 👌🏼 I have a hatch and was looking at 13mm front and 16mm rear but not sure if that’s too much. Car will remain on standard suspension for now. 👍🏼 Thank you.

Thanks guys, you’ve put my mind at rest. Yeah not an issue at all, just functions differently to other cars I’ve experienced that have ambient lights, where they are “activated” when the headlights are turned on. Glad to hear my car is working as intended.

I’ve had my Sportline Plus just coming up to a week now and have noticed that the ambient light strips in the dash and doors are on all the time, during the day when the headlights haven’t been activated. in my last car (Cupra Formentor), the ambient lighting ONLY came on when my headlights were activated. Ie not during the day. but those in my Superb are on from ignition. Is that correct?

2019 272 Sportline. Quartz Grey metallic (which I love). No extras as far as I’m aware, but spec is plenty good enough for me. Reckon it must be one of the last pre facelifts registered as it was reg on 30th September 2019.

I’ve recently taken ownership of a 2019 272 Sportline. Love it. However as I’m going through and getting the settings right for me, I’ve come across a strange situation. The passenger door mirror is set to “dip” when reverse gear is engaged, however, the mirror does not dip. IT DOES move. But it only moves sideways and then, bizarrely, up. But doesn’t dip. Can this be adjusted or is the motor malfunctioning? Any shared experiences of similar issues most appreciated.

Here’s my 2019 272! Quartz metallic. Picked it up Tuesday. Absolutely love it so far. After 7 years away from the brand (5 series touring then Cupra Formentor) I’m very happy to be back in a Škoda. 💙

Thanks for that. Much appreciated. Unfortunately having picked up the car today I’ve seen that it doesn’t actually have a camera at the top of the windshield. So it’s a non starter. 🤦🏻‍♂️ But that’s fine as the maps display the speed limit anyway.

Hi sorry to gatecrash this post, I’m getting a 2019 (pre facelift) Sportline Plus 272 next week and have been hopeful that the Traffic Sign Recognition could be activated. Would this be possible on this car? And if so, is there anyone in the Manchester area who could help “unlock” it? Cheers.
