Thank you, One problem was the BAP not activated. I have put the VCP on and I set the BAP and have got Audio and Navigation back in the Maxidot display. But I have also got a DTC with Radio and Navigation that I am missing 4 speakers. However when I do the output tests ALL speakers respond.and the sound is good. The scan is showing a lot of communication errors. I did the scan with the engine off but only thought of this afterwards. Hello I have the same problem, but I did not touch / install the Columbus. It is all as I bought the car. I do not have Audio or Navigation showing. VWnavi.com is down at the moment. Can you remember what you did to get the coding correct?

Thanks for the replies. I have been reading across the internet and seen pictures of maxidots WITH Audio and Navigation. I do not have a compass showing in the top corner at any time no matter whether the radio is on or off. There is not even a Navigation display when I am navigating with the sat nav other than on the Columbus radio itself. And the Audio does not feed into the maxidot. Thinking back, when we bought the car I am sure I could see a radio station in the dash display, but I am not too sure. Shortly before I started this thread I managed to drain the battery. For some stupid reason I left the key in the car in the garage and the ignition on drained the battery over night. I do not know whether this is related at all but it has been mentioned in other forums. Anyway I went to our local Skoda dealer about 4 weeks ago and felt a bit stupid when one of the sales guys came out to look at the maxidot. His reply was, that if it is not displayed the car does not have it - end of story. So I went home.... After all this is a L&K which should have this as standard. I got my hands on a Vag Can Professional lead and just had a look "round" some of the modules. I have not coded anything but also could not find anything that would suggest a link from radio or sat nav to maxidot. Which modules would I need to look at to code the Columbus to the Maxidot? I have attached a picture of our maxidot. Any replies welcome.

In our Superb you can select the extras button and tick slideshow to get a DAB symbol. You can also select to see the song title and singer.

I do not know what is new. I was looking for the latest and put them on.

I am wondering whether this is an older but genuine VCDS lead?

I am looking at new and 2. hand leads. I hope I can get some answers and either a Vag Can Professional lead and I was also offered a proper Ross VCDS lead where the guy has lost the license key. Do the Vag Can Pro leads use similar / the same kind of coding as VCDS leads? Can I upgrade software on a gen. VCDS lead if I do not have the license key?

I have bought a Superb L&K a couple of months ago. The speedometer setting was activated. You can change the KM/H in the MFD. There is a box that I can untick for an alternative speed unit, but I do not think that gets the Audio and Navigation to display. I do not have a VCDS although toying with the idea. I have just put the latest version of the Columbus software on but that did not change anything.

I have noticed that some people seem to have a Audio and a Navigation in their Maxidot. Our dash is only showing MFD, Phone and Settings. I have the large number for MPH activated. How can I get the dash to show other 2 - Audio and Navi?

Just another question about the TV. Often I get a picture but not all channels seem to come with / have sound. I have sound and picture with BBC News, RT News and very few of the movie channels. Does the sound part depend on signal strength or is there a setting that I have not found?

I have just bought an L&K with DVB TV. Can I just ask how much TV people are watching in the car? In my view this TV is just a gimmick because mine switches of when I start driving.

Hello I am new to Skoda and in car sat navs. I have just picked up a 2014 Superb L&K. I have a few questions on software updates / upgrades. - I have a Columbus with the following numbers: Del Part Number: 3T0 035 686H HW 021 SW 6270 .. Map V HDD 8048 - I have been browsing the net and found a Firmware version 6276 and I noticed the Map upgrade to 8195. The difference in numbers is quite small. Is there any use in going to 6276 and 8195? -I read on some internet sites and in here about diagnostic cables: 2 more expensive ones - VCP and VCDS - and some cheaper ones. All seem to be able to read and erase fault codes and also do some degree of coding. What are the main differences of these leads? Are they any good? I have used Volvo Vida Dice which seemed a bit more complicated than these.
