That is probably a good time to ask for help from the EU again to avoid another crashout like in the 1970ies...... and eventually join the Euro.

You don't know what you are wishing for mate.

I guess the 2 second delay for headlight washers is for a S III?

Does anyone know where the cable would come from / go to and where it is plugged in? The wiring loom is the same across the Superbs, only some things are not used on some cars.

I received my letter for an invitation to have the software update for the EA189 engines - 2.0L 170 BHP. I am in 2 minds about the update.... Are there any people out here who had the update done to 2.0L 170, DSG, 4x4 and who DO NOT have any problems with it? Does the update affect MPG and power output noticeably? Does the update erase any coding done to the rest of the car? I do not want advice on NOT to do the update. I am looking for positive responses.

90 MPH 103 °C.

Now you only need wider flaring wheel arches to cover the wheel tyre combo.

Cruise control doesn't work since DSG oil change
26DIPP replied to KrisztianUK's topic in Skoda Superb Mk II (2008-2015)
In ERWIN there is no reference to the cruise control in the gear box / DSG chapter at all and in electrics the only faults relate to the steering column switch. Could this not just be an unrelated chance fault not connected to the gear box service? -
HELP! Steering wheel MFSW retrofit issues/questions

Just do the coding as above. -
Tyre load and speed rating?
26DIPP replied to lichfielddriver's topic in Skoda Superb Mk II (2008-2015)
Look at the ERWIN screen shot. with 205/55-16 either LI 91 or 94 and speed rating H or V. If you use an H-rated tyre change the max. speed in MFD. There is another thread with this screen shot. -
Mine was in the garage, but I think this time the battery held. It is only the Columbus doing something.

Good few hours , mine was in over night.

HELP! Steering wheel MFSW retrofit issues/questions

Look at this Youtube video: When you switch cruise control on you can get this display but only if activated as discribed above.. -
HELP! Steering wheel MFSW retrofit issues/questions
26DIPP replied to zice's topic in Skoda Superb Mk II (2008-2015)
Is the cruise control showing in your MFD when it is switched on? You can adjust the speed digitally by 1 Km/h or 1 M/h by pressing the stalk up or down. If it is not showing in the bottom right corner you can activate it to be displayed. STG 17, fct 10, activate GRA high. -
Odd DSG behaviour when cruise control enabled
26DIPP replied to iperry's topic in Skoda Superb Mk II (2008-2015)
We have your engine / transmission combo and I use the cruise control with summer -18"- and winter tyres -16"- but I have never noticed the car hunting through the gear box. Even in the alps downhill it does not normally shift down to use the engine braking. The idea brought up here about a wheel sensor problem should through up an immediate warning from yout TPMS that one tyre is deflating. -
Why is the car pulling to the left if everything is aligned? Can this be explained by a steering colomn fault? What is Skoda's opinion on that? Steering rack is more likely the problem.

I just put my VIN into the decoder and the answer was that my car is not affected by the Skoda emission scandal...... The engine is a EA189, 2.0 TDI 170, DSG, 4x4. I could swear that it is affected.

When I got my car - a 2014 Superb - I went through VCP and thought I would like the wear indicator warning. So I activated it. The warning kept going all the time. The dealer told me afterwards I had no wear indicator.... It is now deactivated again.

Did you get your Fabias coded?

The car has great self healing power when everything is flashing like a christmas tree. I made some "alterations" and followed the recipe or thought I did and I did not have enough finger to count the errors, but sensors simply had to reset themselves. If you simply activate functions and follow the trodden path you are safe. NEVER start before the first autoscan is saved - check that it is saved. Otherwise the internet with its forums will help sort most mistakes.

I found VCDS now. My PC was dead slow to load and I did not think there was much else loading.

I have read across the internet that the headlight washers can be coded with VCDS to have a slower response time from using the screen washer stalk. I looked in BCM for the adjustment Bytes and Bits - STG09, fct 07, Byte 5 - where I should be able to increase the number in 50 ms increments.... But that adjustment does not show up in my BCM. Has anyone been able to ajust the response time on his / her Superb II? I can set the jet interval, but that is quite a corse adjustment. Also what happened to the coding / VCDS / VCP section on Briskoda?

Our V70 seats were softer and wider but had less support. The Passat gets some ergonomical seats with thigh support and other things that Skoda did not get their hands on. Superb seat are o.k. for a 10 hour trip though.
