Rear fog lights...... should there be a dash symbol?
spiz replied to NigNB's topic in Skoda Rapid & Spaceback (2012 > )
Yes, there is a symbol. Do the rear fog light(s) come on? -
KESSY keys are an active type key and do use power when in proximity to your car, Advice is not to store the key in/near the car when parked at home as it discharges the key battery quicker due to being pinged by the car for proximity and then transmitting.

Possibly, if the canbus wires can be daisy chained off the connector on the trailer module.

We have fitted to our my MY15 Spaceback the genuine 3-sensor parking retrofit kit is audio only and installs on the LH rear of the vehicle. There is a spare canbus connector at the RH rear which I have used for the trailer module, so couldn't install the canbus version which displays on the radio.

Rapid spaceback monte carlo 1.6 tdi 115ps

Only two variations here, either no badge (same as previous Ambition trim level) or Monte Carlo, and two petrol engine types, 1.2 81TSI if manual and1.4 92TSI if DSG. -
I have the same issue as described above and not yet resolved. The dealer advised no fault found during testing... ... which is lazy as I did point out that you can just see daylight between the centre area of the parked wiper blade and the glass. My guess is weak wiper arm tension or alignment/spacers as mentioned above. Let us know how it is resolved. Thanks!

Nice! Liking the black & white combo. -
Rapid Spaceback or Fabia III Estate
spiz replied to Simoneale1973's topic in Skoda Rapid & Spaceback (2012 > )
We had also considered both and decided on the Rapid Spaceback. The generous rear leg room design of the Spaceback design was the decider. You'll be happy with either. Like you wrote, first world problems. Cheers -
Dead instrument cluster. No power.

3 years warranty here. Skoda Aus had a promotion late last year: 5 years warranty for MY15 models sold prior to 31-Dec-15. -
My label has both kPa and PSI , (100kPa = 1 bar) Therefore for 215/40R17 pressure should be 32psi for both front & rear. Is 215/45R17 an oem size size on a Sport?

A good result in the end. Thanks for the update. Cheers

Our MY15 Rapid does not have a service book also. From the Skoda AU website: Digital Service Records (MY15 onwards)

Thanks to dubdee1000 for the great write up. We have installed a Columbus HW:H60 with firmware 5238 (updated from 3984) and all functions well after VCDS coding. Cheers

I'd be inclined to return the unit and obtain a true 3TO unit instead. The seller sold you a product that wasn't what it appeared to be, leaving you with the risk of bricking the older type hardware. Our Rapid now has a 3TO unit with firmware 5238 and functions perfectly. Regards Spiros

Try the following: In "37-Navigation", byte 7, enable bit 7. (Communication Instrument Cluster via Operation and Display Protocol (BAP). Regards Spiros
