2019 front wiper blades issue
Buy Bosch aeros. Worked immediately for me, and just as good nearly a year on. Same on most cars I have had. The basic problem is that the OEM-fit ones are rubbish blades.....

iphone 5 dash cam
The battery is probably 80% (or more) the capacity of when new, which for most things is fine... There many phones that, when video recording and displaying on the screen, would run the battery to zero even when on charge, i.e. using energy faster than you can replenish it! Same for a lot of games running on phones.... I gave up on SatNavs, so I have no recommendations! I got sick of taking off/putting on the windscreen, as they are what is known as "smack-head magnets".... Might get one again, now I live in a very quiet Close in very quiet village though....

iphone 5 dash cam
It might be fun to a least try it out, given that it sounds like the phone is more or less spare - I guess you're thinking of something like this: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/smart-dash-cam/id1019175347 ... but I'm pretty sure you'd need to keep the thing powered from a 12V socket, as video recording is quite power hungry.

iphone 5 dash cam
I am not aware that any iPhone can take a micro-SD card, so you are limited to whatever memory you have in the phone, and whether it can capture files in timed chunks - it probably won't erase and "roll-over" continuously. And probably the recording is not motion/crash aware either.... Sell the iPhone and buy a dedicated dash cam, or a SatNav with built-in dash cam. Don't be seen with a dash-cam in Portugal - they are illegal, owing to personal privacy concerns over there!!! You know, parking pointing at the beach, etc....

Bumper Scuff Plate.....Citigo
It would look terrible on my pearlescent black Citigo - think I'll stick with my old, trusty 'house mover's blanket' that I keep in the shed, for the 3 or 4 times a year I go to the tip! Besides, that plate doesn't cover the bits that really can get scuffed....

Two reversing lights?
My money is on a corroded connector or bad earth, or possibly the bulb-holder, if it's not the bulb. Shouldn't be too hard - start late morning and you can open some wine by noon...

Citigo doors soundproofing
Sounds a good idea! But buy the plastic clips and a proper removal tool in advance. Floor mats should help, but I bet you have some. The thin glass areas let in noise, but there's not much you can do for that - best not carpet over them!

Two reversing lights?
Yes it has two working reversing lights, at least my 2019 does, so a 2018 should. I've just looked. What is odd is there are three pairs of 21W5 bulbs for brake and tail lights - the upper pair (L+R) come on when you brake as you'd expect. The lower RHS comes on for a single rear fog light (LHS for LHD cars) but the middle pair of bulbs only appear to work as tail lights, which seems a waste. Don't know why they did that, but sometimes it is the case you can get a cheaper break-price (no homophone pun intended) by buying more of one type even though the individual item ought to cost more (2 filaments instead of one). I was hoping they had some kind of automatic switchover in case of an upper brake light failure, but I strongly doubt it on a cheap city car!

Citigo driver's seat height compared with UP!
Not part of the OP question, but interesting seat stuff here: https://www.upownersclub.co.uk/threads/electric-lumbar-suport-and-lower-seat-trims-from-skoda-rapid.12958/#post-138697

Citigo driver's seat height compared with UP!
I'm actually surprised the seat mechanisms offer different adjustment ranges between VW and Skoda! Unless it's a change between model years. I'm sure the seats are all the same bar the fabric choice and whether they are heated or not.... Are you sure the height adjuster is working properly?

2019 citgo potenetial leak
Oh you said it feels oil based..... Missed that. Put a sheet of white card under the car, weighed with something heavy. Let the car drip on it, and see if you can see the colour of the fluid.
-
2019 citgo potenetial leak
Not really. There will be grease there but not hydraulic fluid. No warnings about gearbox oil level, but in the unlikely event it was leaking, chances are you'd see where it was coming from, from under the car. As before, is the fluid oily or watery?
-
2019 citgo potenetial leak
It looks like it is not hydraulic - I haven't looked, as I was just going on this from Skoda; they say it is electro-hydraulic!!! That normally just means the pump is electric.... Weird.... But the steering still works surprisingly well ! Either way, that is not going to be a source of the leak.....
-
2019 citgo potenetial leak
No, this is unusual. Are you certain about whether the leakage is oil-based or water-based? The former includes engine or G/box oil, brake/clutch/steering hydraulic fluid, and the latter is coolant, or drainage of rain water (or normal aircon condensate, if you run aircon). Has the car recently been serviced or had any changes whatsoever? The steering is electro-hydraulic by the way, which means the pump is electrically driven rather than belt driven, but the rack is hydraulic (a much more efficient system, as it happens and fully powered irrespective engine revs).

Rear wheel arch liner question.
Well, Citigo liners do exist - they were fitted as standard on my 2019 SE-L. I have looked, but cannot see any visible part numbers... :(
- Should I buy high mileage Citigo ?

Spoiler brake light replacement
Under a tenner (at time of writing). Not professional gear but fine for occasional use. As essential as having some screwdrivers. Usable by anyone between the ages 10-100! https://www.amazon.co.uk/ULTRICSÂ-Digital-Multimeter-Voltmeter-Ammeter/dp/B00TM0W8ZY/ref=sr_1_7?dchild=1&keywords=multimeter&qid=1602323446&sr=8-7

Air Filter
All these mods will change the sound of the induction noise, and will create the illusion of more power. In reality, on a fairly puny city car, you won't be able to actually measure any perceived performance gain. Changing the standard air filter for a similar good quality one every so many thousand miles is as good as it gets. I'm willing to be proved wrong by any genuine apples-for-apples, back-to-back dyno test result graphs (but not the usual advertising-faked-up-but-still-cleverly-legal rubbish published by K&N). Fun to see advertising wins in the end though!

If you are in the warranty period, they will fix it. Just be clear with them!

Which torque wrench do I need?
yep, just checked, my mistake, they indeed are XZN/triple-square, and a set of bits can probably be found on Amazon.

Citigo 6-speed Up gearbox swap?
A Citigo has 95Nm @3000rpm, but Up! GTI has 200Nm @2000rpm If it were possible to fit the 6-speed box, the gearing would likely be wrong - the GTi box will be geared to suit the extra torque on that car. You may need to change the diff for something too and even then the 'distance' between each gear may well be unacceptable. Not to mention the linkages....

Spoiler brake light replacement
Best to disassemble and poke your multimeter in first to see what may be at fault.... Before shelling out hard-earned cash on new bits...

New Member with one problem
FWIW, I am on my 3rd Skoda. I'm not sure if or why this topic is getting heated.... My current Citigo - a very nice 2019 SE-L with loads of extras (about £2K) , has the usual delay wipe but no means to alter the delay time which is a bit cheapo, TBH. Another recent but more basic Citigo I drove was the same. But my Octavias both had a variable delay switch. I suspect it's about the spec of the BCM, and what functions it can support.
