  1. If it's the same as this https://skoda.7zap.com/en/cz/octavia/oct/2013-753/9/955-955000/#18 #18 ? then it should be OK
  2. The sensor sits on a special sealant/gasket that if it's incorrectly applied and gets air bubbles in the sealant/gasket it throws the sensor calibration out
  3. I've used mtec on a couple of cars now and quality is better than OEM and lasted longer, going to fit them on my Touareg when the current pads are due
  4. As long as you don't let the reservoir run dry and get air into the ABS you can bleed as normal, but if you do get air into the ABS then you'll need VCDS or similar to put the unit into service mode to bleed the air out
  5. My callsigns M7NPC/2E0NYG/M0NYG Have a look under the dash drivers side, on the MK1 there was a terminal strip below the relays and one of them was a Live 12v supply so there might be the same on a MK2 if you're lucky
  6. There isn't one listed only CANbus that goes to the J519-Onboard supply control unit the J533-Data bus diagnostic interface does have a "KLine" connected to the 16 pin diagnostic connector
  7. Pins 1/2/4 Ground, Pins 3/5/6/92/87 +12v, Pin 67 CAN Lo Pin 68 CAN Hi
  8. @Phuttersinteresting to see your towball has the same problem as my Treg in that there is nowhere to attach the breakaway cable so that it's legal in Holland, Switzerland & I think Austria ? Some people with their Tregs have replaced one of the bolts that hold the electrical socket with a M6 eye bolt so you can clip the breakaway cable to that
  9. On my Touareg the ball also swivels away under the bumper so I put a plastic bag on the ball with a re-useable tywrap to seal it and so far it's been OK
  10. No oil pressure transducer just a LOP switch and the temperature/quality sensor in the bottom of the sump
  11. If it's in the position in the picture it's the 30 amp supply for the electric seats, if it's at the left end of the rail then it's the 30 amp supply for the electric windows
  12. On my MK1 I fitted rubber rings to the coil springs like these https://www.towsure.com/towing-spring-assisters?gclid=CjwKCAjw_L6LBhBbEiwA4c46uqkaYWOVR8cd0_VB6ETmgbO1b6vTW4NG9fJL8bmuzv5eHdziHvC47BoCP8gQAvD_BwE
  13. It's a push bike for heavens sake, not a F1 car 🤣🤣🤣 and shouldn't be raced on the public highway
  14. A lot of the companies have a 1.4 ~ 1.6m limit before the price skyrockets
  15. Ryan ?? Measure the bumper cover width and knock off 400~500mm that should give a rough estimate of the width of the chassis rails that the towbar bolts to
  16. While the weight shouldn't exceed that, the length almost certainly will, it'll be closer to 1.5 or longer depending on what model it's from
  17. Replace the catch/buckle or you can probably recode the system to remove the seatbelt warning
  18. https://fuse-box.info/skoda/skoda-octavia-mk2-1z-2005-2008-fuse-box-diagram the image is for a LHD so you'll need to mirror image the layout
  19. Confirms it's a cold climate option 👍
  20. The heater if fitted is in the pipe from the top of the rocker/cam cover to the inlet pipe to the turbo
  21. If the data sticker is missing from the boot/service book and there is no sticker on the cambelt cover, on UK cars the code can be found on the V5 vehicle logbook, the letters at the start of the engine serial number are the engine code.
  22. I searched the whole of the engine section in ElsaWin and no mention of the heater or even the ventilation system As to the optional equipment, I'm wondering if it could be a cold climate option ??
  23. It should be 10amp The diagrams show the ventilation heater as only fitted with "optional equipment " ??
  24. Check the pump timing with the graphing feature in VCDS
