  1. It would take you just a few minutes to email them with your NCD order (and cancellation), costs you nothing with the possibility of much to gain even with your dismal track record with Skoda CS over the years.
  2. My situation is so different to yours having only ordered the car a week before it got cancelled, my wishes for a resolution however long it takes is not very sympathetic to you and others suffering genuine hardship at the moment, let's hope it's sooner than later.
  3. I think if you had daily contact with them you may have a better understanding of the matter. As I've said many times now, this is a very serious issue with legal ramifications, you can't just hurry these things up a s much as we would wish. It's my understanding that every effort is being made to accommodate all those with cancelled orders but still wishing to buy Skoda, at the end of the day someone will have to foot the bill for this "accommodation". I'd rather they took their time to get the right result rather than rush a response through, it must just prove to be financially beneficial.
  4. Yep got the same call this morning, I'm quietly optimistic.
  5. As if it's not bad enough having the misery of cancelled orders through NCD, truly sorry to read this. I suggest you call Skoda UK tomorrow and ask for "Kate" she operates out of a Leeds office.
  6. It would be interesting to hear of any NCD success stories, maybe then we could get a clue as to what dealerships they have an arrangement with.
  7. I haven't "snitched" on you as you put it, just stated the facts. It's a shame you've waited three and a half months and are not prepared to give it a while longer to see if an amicable resolution can be found. Many of us are still fighting our corner and hope to get some form of result from this, you have made you conclusions about Skoda and have gone elsewhere, that is your perogative and I wish you luck with your new purchase.
  8. Before this episode I had no idea about fleet v private prices etc. I made the purchase with NCD in good faith and had absolutely no thoughts at the time that there maybe some dishonest practices going on. I honestly thought that by buying through a broker and bypassing the normal dealership route was the reasons for obtaining a generous discount. On a tangent, today I've just bought some AV equipment from Richer Sounds, they price matched Costco and reduced the price by £400. I'm not sure this is a fair comparison but I hope you get my drift, bargains can be had and not necessarily through dishonest means.
  9. I thought the comment was perfectly fair. Read through all of UncleWangs posts from the start of this thread and the other one running parallel. He has written a "scathing" email without response and branded Skoda "childish" and immature" , is going to write to the dailies and Jackie magazine (someone explain that one to me). Will not telephone them for fear of what he will say.Never going near Skoda again, bought a Mazda. All this within a few days of the cancelled orders, Skoda not given a chance to tell us their side of the story and as far as NCD were concerned he stated "it was out of their hands". I strongly disagree. I have made contact with the MDs office and they have been back in touch with me and keeping me up to date with regular calls, we now see another member receiving the same. As I said in a much earlier post, this is a very serious issue with much at stake for certain parties, the repercussions could be huge. I will not give up the fight to find the facts that have caused us to lose our precious new cars, I'm fighting for me but if it aids others that will be a fantastic bonus, including UncleWang.
  10. A lesson to be learnt, don't jump to conclusions before the truth of the matter has emerged.
  11. I too had a call from Kate at 10am this morning, saying very much the same as you have reported, I did say there were members that have had no response from emails sent and that needs addressing, looks like Kate is on the case. It's clear they are monitoring things closely, Kate told me NCD have put Skoda back online, a quick check and indeed they have but no Superb.
  12. Just been reading your 280PS posts, nice one, broker, introducer or dealer direct?
  13. Interesting to read this. Only last week I spotted a Superb for sale on Autotrader with the same trim sticking out, couldn't believe they would publish such a photo. Obviously an issue with this trim.
  14. Well done on getting your new car. The fact NCD has removed ALL Skoda models from their site plus other marques too, means you've been lucky to get in the nip of time and to my way of thinking shows NCD is definitely part of the problem.
  15. Apologies, asked and given before As I said in a previous post it was made clear to me that they have received several communications regarding the cancelled orders and these are being investigated. They should however as a common courtesy acknowledge yours and any other emails received.
  16. If it becomes illegal I'll go down the VPN route or just listen to the radio.
  17. Not quite sure how that would work logistically. It would take an army surely to monitor and recognise exactly whether I was watching a terrestrial channel like ITV or maybe Iplayer or a YouTube video. But as I said its not an illegal act anyway so it's of little consequence. All I know is I'm a lot better off each month not feathering the pockets of the Murdoch empire.
  18. As the end user we are doing nothing illegal. Somewhere along the line though codes are being obtained that may not be strictly kosher. It's been going on in one form or another as long as Sky has been in existence, even if it was illegal for the end user it would be impossible to police.
  19. Do you know who gave you that response from Skoda?
  20. I've only seen one mention of "Kodi". If you haven't come across it yet, get on the case asap and you can have the whole world of television for £0.
