  1. Yesterday after washing wifes car - i noticed from tyres are at around 2.0 to 2.5 on outer edge and around 5 to 5.5 in middle. (2.0 TDI 4x4 DSG) Car is just 3500 miles... So increased pressures to 2.7 Bar from 2.4 Bar to see if that helps. Will swap to Winter Wheels and tyres in about a month also... Then next March.. will put Summer wheels on but swap Front to Back and Back to Front. And I thought my Yeti ate tyres at 15,000 miles.....
  2. Still no build date for me - but last week he said wait 2 weeks - my order was accepted 8th August (ordered on 22 July) - I heard that excuse before - X weeks from order date... then a different adviser says .. no its Y weeks before build.... Basically just keep checking back...
  3. Something to think about - your in Canada... the car is in Romania.... I assume that you live somewhere in Europe and using VPN or Server in Canada? Used prices in UK are very different to USA / Canada... and also slightly different to Europe.... so as far as what its worth we are not the ones to ask.. it all depends on supply and demand in your region. But my 2 year old 2.0 TDI 4x4 Yeti SEL DSG with 20K miles with nearly every extra is worth about £13,000 in UK at dealer... cost new was £29,000.... So assuming similar pricing - its EXPENSIVE... but really don't know your market. Does it come with full history.. For me mileage is too high... especially at that price... A 9 year old car - with 90,000 miles in UK would be worth maybe £5000 to £6000 - depending on model.. - so 2/3 the money and 3/4 mileage.. So do not think its a GOOD buy..
  4. Be carefull on the towbar. Unless the car has Tow Bar Prep - you may need to do some grill and fan mods (for heavy loads) to aid cooling. Also the system will need coding to disable sensors on rear.. (parking and radar for blindspot ) Search on here - there is other threads on towbars with lots of info. Good Luck...
  5. Please post... because i am planning to uninstall so as to gain boot space.. Also my dealer said there was no wiring to the seats... and the online manual does not show any... in the section that shows removing these seats.
  6. My guess they are talking with multiple people at the same time... As it constantly says they are typing you a message.
  7. So 9 weeks after order 150 TDI L&K 4x4 DSG... still no confirmed build date. I chatted on Saturday and they asked me to get back in touch today - so they could speak with Brand Support Below (edited - to make it easier to read - no content changed) Joel Hi, Simon. My name's Joel, here to assist you today. I'm glad to hear that you've come through to us to ask for an update on your order. Simon Hi Joel - please check chat logs from last week and you will see that I was asked to get back in touch today and you would investigate further Joel I'm more than happy to do so. Please give me a few moments and I'll take a look for you. Joel Thanks for waiting, Simon. Just to make you aware that I'm contacting Brand Support to assist in investigating this order. Simon OK - THANKS Thanks for waiting, Simon. I've taken a look for you and spoke with the Brand Support team who have advised that the combination on the L&K trim level and the engine that you've chosen has a 4 week delay. I am sorry to say. The best option would be to check back with us in two weeks time to see if there are any updates on your order, on a weekday, so that we can contact Brand Support to check this again. I am sorry for the delay and for any inconvenience caused, Simon. So what about the 190 Diesel Engine - is that still on big delay - when I ordered it was 11/12 weeks for 150 and 25 for the 190 TDI Joel - Simon is it still an additional 12 to 14 weeks longer than the 150 TDI? Joel The 190 PS has a lead time of 25+ weeks and so does the 150 PS of the same specifications (4x4 DSG). This is for if you were to order a new vehicle today, however. So for those of you waiting or about to order Diesel L&K expect a wait... So in my case - Estimated 4 week delay is not that bad ....
  8. We got the last 3 cars with no freebies and on red... maybe £5 fuel... luckily garage is next to a station. I did complain after the last one... they sent me some pens and a lanyard in the post...
  9. Suggest you clean out your contacts and get less than 2000.... you can not possibly talk to that many regularly?
  10. So spoke with dealer - he knew nothing about the reason for the delays... So he called Dealer Support ... They informed him there are delays on the Sportline and L&K models.... Is it only the bumpers they share - that is not used on other cars? or does the Sportline also have Pan Roof? But still no confirmed build date..
  11. So today's update - Still no update - Speak to your dealer - sounds like situation is getting worse... Simon Hi - looking for a build date... still... Paul Hi Simon, you are through to Paul, I will check the status now for you. Simon thanks Paul Is your order a KODIAQ L&K 2.0 TDI 150 PS DSG? 11:22 Simon Yes - in Blue Paul Thank you for waiting, I am sorry but a build date has not yet been allocated, I am aware that Lead Times have been extended, I would recommend speaking to your Retailer for an update regarding this. Simon He has no news... and is also waiting... car was ordered 8 weeks ago on 12 week delivery... what is the issue? Paul There has been an update today on the Lead Time, your Retailer should now be aware of this and will advise you further. Simon And is it so top secret that you can not advise because message self destructs? Paul I can understand your frustration, your Contract of Sale is with the Retailer, they will be able to advise you further regarding the delay.
  12. They do the Canton system - so probably have the speakers available - but need the amps and bass for boot.... probably cost a lot...
  13. Off the top of my head.. Winter Wheels and Tyres (1300) Dog Guard (130) Boot Liner (150) 5 Seat floor Kit (plan to remove 7 seats) - more room for dogs.. (100) Rubber Mats (50) Boot Protector (25) Rear Seat Cover (110) Touch Up Paint (10) Mudflaps (40) Maybe more..
  14. Agree... my situation is worse.. I have around £1700 of accessories for it sitting here... so if I cancel... I have to sell them at a big loss too.... but if the Brexit pushes price up 10% and then moves it into the higher tax band... that's about an extra £5,000... so will seriously consider take the loss on the accessories and cancel...
  15. Mine is 2.0 TDi L&K - here's todays update ... or not... original delivery date was end October - ordered at dealer 22nd July (2019) Started: 12th September 2019 at 10:22 Simon Hi can you tell me current build status date Thanks Hi Simon, you're through to Imran at ŠKODA UK. I will be assisting you today. Please allow me a few moments. Thank you for waiting. Your vehicle does not have a build date. Simon This is just rediculous - it was ordered more than 7 weeks ago with a delivery date of end October Your vehicle's original build week was starting from the 1st week of November. The production is currently full and the factory is trying it's best to push all orders into production as soon as they can. Simon At point of order dealer confirmed 11 to 12 weeks for the 150 TDI and 25 weeks for the 190 TDi - so I choose the 150 to get delivery - so what is latest unconfirmed build date? Currently there is a provisional build week starting from 4th of November, however, this has not been confirmed so it can change. Simon so the same as 3 weeks ago. Simon I hope Skoda will be picking up the costs associated with any extra duties for the delivery being after the Brexit deadline - instead of before - if it happens! I'm sorry, as I've mentioned previously the production is full so as soon as the factory can fit your vehicle in for production they will. Any changes due to Brexit will be given to you by your Retailer.
  16. Look here and contact Shahoff would be my suggestion
  17. When i wanted to order in mid July I was told 190 Diesel was 25 weeks delivery by 2 different dealers - but 150 Diesel was 12 weeks So based on that and my experience on the 150 I have on order I do not believe a word of it..
  18. Last week the excuse was the WLTP testing... that was ongoing.... but I thought this was already completed for Kodiaq .... But my feeling is that really they just have no idea....
  19. Not sure Last week the adviser said they had to give me a confirmed build date - within 4 weeks of the confirmed order date (8th August) (today) Today's advisor said that's wrong and confirmed date is only given a few weeks before build... I should chase my dealer...
  20. Well its still unconfirmed.... but back to 4th November......
  21. The rear traffic alert - blind spot detection use radar sensors behind the bumper - not the parking sensors in the bumper..
  22. You need to take it back to the dealer - this is a safety issue - you could be part the way out of a junction when this happens and cause an accident.. They may fob you off... but tell them you want a replacement / loan car unless they are 100% sure the repair they do has fixed the issue. There is other threads on here with same issue.. Just an example
