Tyre compressor included with vehicle
You do not attach the bottle of gunk to the compressor. If you get a puncture and want to try to repair with the gunk, you add the gunk before inflation. The manual is in the infotainment system i.e. electronic. Press the Help tile to access the manual. There is also an online version of the manual on the Skoda UK website. (https://www.skoda.co.uk/apps/manuals/models) which you can access with your car's VIN EDIT Here is what the manual says about using the kit... Using the kit Sealing the tyre Unscrew the valve cap of the damaged tyre. Using the attachment, unscrew the valve insert and place it on a clean pad. Shake the sealant bottle. Screw the filler hose onto the bottle. Puncture the foil on the cap. Remove the stopper from the filler tube and fit it onto the tyre valve. Hold the bottle upside down and pour the entire contents into the tyre. Remove the filler hose from the valve. Screw on the valve insert. Inflate the tyre Fit the compressor hose onto the tyre valve. Secure the vehicle with the parking brake. Turn on the ignition. Insert the compressor plug into the 12-volt socket. Switch on the compressor. When the pressure reaches 2.0 – 2.5 bar, switch off the compressor. Observe the maximum compressor run time specified by the kit manufacturer. If the tyre pressure has not reached 2.0 – 2.5 bar, remove the hose from the valve. Move forward or backward approximately 10 m to allow the sealant to spill in the tyre. Refit the hose to the valve and repeat the inflation.

Inner Edge Tyre Wear
This exact problem has been noted in some VW ID3 and ID4 (same MEB platform) cars. A Google search for this in ID.4 cars might also help find supporting evidence. Unfortunately the issue is sometimes conflated with a problem with some OE Bridgestone tyres supplied on the cars from new that suffered uneven wear, but alignment is OK. The Bridgestone issue is addressed by tyre replacement under warranty. If you have the TPI number for the new wheel alignment specs, please share.

The "(must use credit card on Tesla app)" is the giveaway, they will track by app use. Also, this is how they will check that you are a new user. The card terminals on V4 SUC will not be free.

Enyaq iV Owners Register
All you need now is to swap the Citigo for an electric one and you'll have the full set!

Enyaq IV80X SL - Clonking/ratteling sound underneath
Two things that seem to be fairly common with MEB platform cars. First is the front drop links can loose their bushes and end up knocking. Changing the stabiliser may have been to address this possibility. The other issue has been with rear shock absorbers starting to knock due to an internal fault.

Problem with Cruise control on the A9
Well it being fixed is good news, as I have heard of this affecting other vehicles. I suffer from it in my ID.4. You can stop it happening by turning off sign recognition through your infotainment system, but you then have to set cruise speed yourself when limits change. The ACC function is not affected.

Out of interest, why does it need to be non-ISOFIX?

the truth about electric cars
I did this in 2021. I set up the direct debit and was not charged for the card. The card will be charged for on first invoice after charging. As it turns out, I was not charged for the card on my first invoice, I have no idea why. My theory is first invoice was more than 12 months after setting it up, so had a free card renewal at some point. Getting the card is a good idea, if you never use it you most likely will not be charged for it.

separate headlight and main beam bulbs
Osram Nightbreaker H7's Very bright. 😎 I have them in my current motorcycle that takes 4xH7. (previous bike was H4) https://www.osram.com/ecat/NIGHT BREAKER 200-Halogen headlight lamps-Car lighting-Automotive/com/en/GPS01_3495633/ZMP_4062356/

upgrade headlights on Citigo
I've had Phillips upgrade bulbs in my motorcycle and they are good, definitely better than standard. The reason I prefer Osram is they give a better dip beam pattern using H4 bulbs (which Citigo uses) and are more reliable in my experience.

upgrade headlights on Citigo
They are already halogen bulbs. You need an upgrade bulb, higher output than standard. My favourite are Osram Night Breaker which give a big improvement in light output. I have them in my Citigo.

Seems counter intuitive when Tesla are applying pressure on price.

'Electric Car Insurance prices are soaring', according to the BBC News today, an other media and sources, internet / social media.
@Rooted Explained how Motability works. From my experience, if leased through a company scheme either as a benefit or salary sacrifice, the insurance is covered by company insurance as they are the lessee. I had two prangs in a year one time in a company car and I got a very stiff letter from HR telling me one more and I would be taken off the company car scheme. Those did not affect my own NCB. I have also leased a car for myself and I was responsible for insuring it - this is true even with a full package. The bin men reversed into that and my insurance was informed, but as fault was admitted it did not affect NCB.

EV real world range and cost to charge
Most have a motor mounted on a single speed reduction gearbox driving a transaxle with a differential.

EV real world range and cost to charge
For those new to EVs, that is a useful article. I thought it was not clear or even misleading in the way referred to Tesla having their own chargers and should have made it clear that Tesla cars can charge on other networks. Apart from that, helpful.

Thanks for the clarification. I tend to forget that the power electronics for Tesla chargers are remote from the plug. I'd have thought new V4 installations would have power electronics capable of being upgraded to supply 600A/1000V at least but who knows without Tesla publishing specs. the second article mentions a planning application for 16 V4 SC with output of 350kW. The maximum possible under the CCS2 standard for 400V cars is about 250kW (400Vx600A), so to go higher will need higher voltage. Both articles mention the plated max. current to be 600A, so I would expect at least 600V capability. I suspect any 350kW V4 will support 800V. Pretty exciting stuff.

I'm sure that is not true, the V4 cabinet is completely different to V3, including a longer cable to allow non-Tesla cars with right side charge ports to charge without blocking an extra charger. Take a look at this video of Trentham Gardens SC site, where a bunch of V4s have been installed next to V3 chargers and the difference is stark.

But all you need is for price competition to force down prices at 800V chargers to benefit. The V4 SC is rated to 1000V, but I do not know if they are throttled to approx. 400V for the moment.

Shell can do one as far as I'm concerned. Tesla will disrupt the charging market like it has the car market. All their new sites will be V4 Superchargers and will be open to all (with contactless payment) - currently they are 15-20p cheaper than nearest rivals and 30p cheaper than Shell! The other CPOs will have to get prices down or suffer the consequences. Tesla are now selling V4 superchargers to other charger networks and apparently these cost a lot less that a similar spec charger from other manufacturers, so expect to see more entrants to the charger market and with that comes competition.

the truth about electric cars
I think this shows how the Chargeplace Scotland scheme has backfired a bit. Any CPO's map of chargers generally stops at Gretna, as there was no point trying to compete with free chargers in Scotland. Since most of these now charge, there is a business case to be made (see MFG's expansion) for privately provided charging in Scotland - but this has effectively put the commercial roll-out in Scotland a couple of years behind. Add in that many chargers Rooted uses are unreliable* and it makes an electric car less attractive in Scotland. * I have to say my experience of CPS chargers has always been good, but I use them quite rarely and in different areas to @Rooted

the truth about electric cars
@Rooted With your high miles, would a Tesla subscription be worth it to you? £12 a month but around 20p/kWh reduction in price. Interesting conundrum that affects those dependant on public charging, so wondered what your position would be.

the truth about electric cars
It is rather a click bait. All advanced countries have plans for what to do in power shortages. It seems Switzerland has identified EVs as a potential load that can be reduced or removed at the third tier of escalation of emergency powers to reduce demand. I suspect they are the first to do this as the plan needs to be ratified by the federal court, it is not yet law. No doubt other countries will follow. The UK will no doubt be a bit behind on this as our plan (Electricity Supply Emergency Code) was last revised in 2019. The ESEC requires increasingly frequent and longer rolling blackouts as it gets escalated. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/electricity-supply-emergency-code

So I went and bought a Jaaaag
I'd have an F-Type over an M3 everytime. It looks so much nicer, a real sports coupe where (to me) an M3 looks like a boy racer's souped up saloon. I'm not a sports car enthusiast so looks would matter to me and that F-Type is a great choice. Enjoy!
