ok couldnt connect as there was an issue with the internet on my phone. have now changed all spark plugs, started the car up and it seems fine. cylinder 2 spark plug was loose though, that might have something to do with it, god knows how it became loose though. here are the pictures: the first 5 picture is cylinder one, the next 3 is cylinder 2 then the last 5 is cylinder 3.

i have 3 coil pack. i am going to use my obdeleven to check t see if any codes have popped up.

the ones ive just seen is around 19 ea on ebay but i need 3 so around 60 on ebay but on google, i have seen some at around 120 for 3.

apologies, that was priced at 3 pieces. got some new spark plugs in car so will change them over after my lunch.

just had a look at coil packs, they are between 60 pound to 120 pounds. is that right?

my first thought was teh spark plugs too as i havent changed them in over 2 years. i have been driving alot for a past year or so. i think i have done about 10k in about 4 months.

hi guys hope everyone had a god christmas and new year last night i left my car on idle then all of a sudden the engine started stuttering/shaking and engine light/key started flashing so i switched engine off then started it again and it was fine after that. was wondering if anyone could tell me what that means please? many thanks guys

thank you, just been looking at the dash light warning symbols and i thought it was the steering wheel but it is not, its the brake pads. very strange as i have changed them aprox a year ago. i thought they last longer than that.

anyone know how i can reset the steering wheel light on dashboard?

had a look at the obdeleven codes on this site but they are different numbers to the one showing on my obdeleven though, very strange.

thank you guys someone on here changed from 10120 to 10140 and that made the steering heavy and at 10150 it makes your steering very heavy. both front tyres have been changed and the person who changed them have inflated them to right psi.

thank you guys will just keep driving it for now and see what happens. i have connected my odb eleven to see what i can change and the steering assistance showed up and it also lets me change the value. right now its on 10140. if that is showing on my obdeleven, does it mean i can change the value or is it something else? i am thinking about changing 10140 to 10120 as 10150 is very heavy steering so i am guessing lower the 2nd to last digit to make the steering lighter? to see if that makes any difference, if not then i will just change it back.

i understand, thank you. just drove the car for abit and it seems fine, still feel bit hard to turn, not like it was before but still easier than no power steering.

true, i asked him if he will get some sort of compensation for the faulty rack, he said he hopes so. he should get some sort of money back wont he?

update: took my car in early this morning and just rang them now to see how far they are at, he has finished fixing the steering rack now, when asked what was wrong? he said he had to put a new rack in as the other one was faulty.
