  1. Hey, I'm considering a used Enyaq, probably a 2021 model. I'd be going for the 80 model for the extra range for Euro road trips. I'm a bit confused on the fast charging, was 100+ kW charging an optional extra back then, I believe it's standard now. Is it worth getting one with a heat pump? Any other options to look for?
  2. I guess I will have to keep my AAWireless adapter for a bit! The Skoda website itself just show wireless CarPlay. I wonder if they just don't advertise that it has wireless AA due to them not being able to guarantee compatibility with all Android phones https://www.skoda-auto.com/models/layers/layers/superb-iv-connectivity
  3. Hi all, I'm currently looking for a use Superb iV (~20/21) and was wondering if it would have wireless Android Auto enabled. Most of the adverts say only wireless CarPlay. Does anyone know if it can be enabled with a software update and when it was available as standard?
  4. Ignore above, I saw Octavia and read Superb, wrong topic!
  5. I'm about to make the jump from an Octavia Estate to Superb Estate and am considering the PHEV for similar reasons, short trips during the week but also would be for holidays in mainland Europe. What's the 1.4 engine like in the Superb? My partner has the 1.4 in a 2017 Leon so presumably same/similar but that's ~500kg lighter than the Superb!
  6. I don't think a 2015 Octavia would have wireless AA built-in. You would need to get an AA wireless adapter. https://www.aawireless.io/
  7. Search for a local specialist, you should be able to do it for <£100. It won't affect your vcds changes
  8. I've used AAWireless since its initial release, works perfectly. I tried the Motorola one and it didn't work for me, the setup is a nightmare!
  9. Re the above. I will try to downgrade back to the old version if possible. Does anyone have a copy of MHI2_ER_SKG11_K3330 please, mibsolution.one only seems to have the latest versions
  10. I've just done an update on my unit which has previously had component protection removed. The update seems to have re-enabled component protection, has anyone had that issue before?
  11. I've posted separately so I'm not stealing your thread
  12. Hi all, I've just updated my MIB2 Columbus from MHI2_ER_SKG11_K3330 to MHI2_ER_SKG11_K3343. The installation completed okay and shows the new version installed but it seems to have enabled component protection. Now the unit has had component protection disabled and SmartLink (AA) enabled before, my car is a 2014 Octavia so originally had a MIB1 in it. Would a firmware update have reset those?
  13. Hi all, just updated mine following the instructions above and I get a 'component protection enabled' error after installation. Has anyone any idea how to resolve that? The current value of 'confirmation installation changed' shows 0000
