    I'm pretty certain you will have 288mm discs as the discs are determined by engine size. Yes can double check by measuring or you can look at the shape of your pads to see if it matches the image on euro carcparts website

    Try turning the wheel on full lock and use a long breaker bar, also using six sided socket are better for cracking off tight nuts.

    there is just only one sensor on the front and one sensor on the back but the back one should be fine as they shouldn't need to touch it if they are working on the front only

    the 7 speed DSG oil is sealed for life and does not need changing unless the incorrect oil was used at the factory

    You need to unlock the fuse box before you can push the wire in and then lock it again. It's a lot of faff and easier getting a pig back fuse holder.

    the first one looks like the correct part and the 3rd one is for an octavia mk1 / golf 4 and will not fit
     
    beware the euro car parts website does not always give the correct part as mine snapped to when I changed my strut and was given the wrong part despite the part guys saying it was the correct part on the computer for my car and ended up going back again as it was similar to the part in your picture 3 and did not fit
