Update, claim rejected (no surprise) and they said they can do it for the tidy sum £ 560, absolute joke for what it is

If they refuse I’ll probably just have to fork out my own Pocket , I’ve only had the car 3 months ands it’s only 3.5 year old but I know warranty stuff it’s just a ball ach . makes its worse I’ve already fallen for the car lol

I’m going to a Skoda approved body shop on Wednesday so I’ll keep the post updated, have you got any pics of yours. Also this could of been prevented at factory with a little ppf or rubber washer.

So after a good clean today I noticed some corrosion around bottom of rear spoiler., it’s not too bad but still a bummer , I would mind I read all about potential Octavia 3 corrosion problems before I bought it, but still a great car tho, I wonder how much this will cost , it’s on both side as well.

I don’t think they will fit , the Octavia sill is different from the font .

No these are the 18 inch version, the 19 inch version are flow formed and are meant to be stronger but are very prone to get flat spots.

Just fitting 18 genuine vw Pretoria wheels as the roads here are just pothole after pothole. I’ll tell u what tho those 19 inch extremes are super heavy.

Just fitted some arch guards . They don’t provide loads of protection but do provide some and are very discreet

Hmm I think maybe the grey version is 7.5 and the black 8 for some reason unless it’s got something to do with the mk3 facelift having a wider rear track??

Push on the drivers window switch when playing bassy music and it will disappear
