@Raymundo91 Never heard about this 'urban styling pack for the Superb'... What does it contain? Thanks

ABS module factory reset by mistake
It's probably a good suggestion to have a short drive, to check if the 'Xmas tree' switches off. I had something similar right after I had to change the battery on my former Superb Mk2. Every warning lights went off, after few hundreds meter...

What have you done to your Superb III today?
I mentioned that point upon the 20000 mile service for my MY17 Mk3. They told that they applied a Service Bulletin to put some grease on the silent blocks for the front sway bar. It solved the problem for some months, but it came back. I've notice the creaking noise increases, as the weather gets more humid and/or colder... I'm curious to get your feedbacks about the solution they will propose you.

Dsg service
Official Haldex service interval is 3 years. No mileage is specified as strange as it sounds. I did mine at 45000 km (~30000 miles). It's a good service interval IMHO. Indeed, there's no link with DSG service interval whatever FD or AWD...

To disconnect or not
@newbie69 If you have a look to may tutorial for Haldex oil replacement, you'll see that I disconnected the Haldex Control Unit indeed. Nut I did not disconnect the battery for that. I had no error message. Thus... I would say it's useless. I would do the same for the 4-6 week parking (not battery disconnect). Just be careful to "prime" the fuel system with switching contact ON, wait 10s, switch OFF, wait 15s and repeat agina 2-3 times before really starting the engine... It should help the engine idling quickly and will prevent you from "cristmas tree" and DTC... My opinion... May be not the best...

Same for me. May be put some stickers on the car saying: " keep back 10 ft: Covid infected driver"?

What have you done to your Superb III today?
I found them on Ali... Something like this: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4001018295070.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.f0dad01dQDyr8s&algo_pvid=ebeb551b-36ef-4b96-bf91-9573713dd7c8&algo_expid=ebeb551b-36ef-4b96-bf91-9573713dd7c8-12&btsid=0b0a01f816059140472008574ebde9&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_,searchweb201603_ Not that obvious to find some without logo. I would have found it weird to put some door lock covers with VRS logo on a L&K version...

diesel fuel filter replacement - Skoda superb mk3 2.0
If you want to avoid 'evidence' of DIY, you need to buy the filter by an official Skoda dealer. Otherwise, even if you buy a filter directly from a manufacturer that also supplies OEM filters, you won't get the Skoda P/N written on the filter. Replacing the filter is very easy. If some diesel is missing in the cartridge once the new filter is in, you can prime the fuel system without VCDS. 1) Switch the engine ON (without starting) 2) Wait for ~10s to let the fuel pump pressurizing the system 3) Switch the engine OFF 4) Wait for ~15s to let the fuel pressure drop. 5) Go back to step 1) and repeat the sequence 3 or 4 times. Then start the engine. It should idle steadily. Possibly, you can rev it to ~1500 rpm for 20-30s to get rid of potential air bubbles in the hoses. Then, it's done!

What have you done to your Superb III today?
@AidanF Thanks for the tip. I'm also about to run out of rim cleaner product. I've been using Billberry will cleaner. Quite efficient, but there may exist better ones... Any tip for tyre dressing also? I've been told that Autofinesse make good product for that too. Thanks.

Put winter wheels on yesterday. Still satisfied with the detailing I had done on these wheels during spring. Still very shiny . Now the summer wheels are off, I just have to do the same (19" Trinity in black version) .

Superb Sportline - standard spec vs options
@SkudMissile21 I didn't know too. I discovered that "accidentally"...

Tyres
Good choice, I think. Would have done the same...

Superb Sportline - standard spec vs options
In reverse gear, just use the rear window washer. The camera lense will be washed in the mean time. There's a dedicated nozzle to clean the lense. It works pretty well !

Superb Sportline - standard spec vs options
If retrofits are possible, don't forget it's often more expensive than a 2nd car already equipped with. As @UndertheRadar, I think it will be easier to chose a L&K and to wrap or replace the chrome parts... Probably also quicker and less efforts... In addition to that, a lot of options ticked on a Sportline may become more expensive than a L&K with the same equipment. An important point to think about...

@SuperbSEL & @defiant Funny plate numbers... I guess it is possible to chose the number in your country. Lucky you! @defiant The Supernova really suit good to your Mk3! I don't understand why these rims are so rare...

Nice! 2 or 3 more plastic covers and it will look like an AMG engine bay! ... Almost... Just kidding!

@k.young Hi, I also drive a TDI190. To me, this should not be a turbo (or its actuator indeed) issue, since this would raise a fault code. The EGR valves is probably not frozen (otherwise, it would also raise a fault code too). But it may be partially 'clogged' or dirty. Just a question: Do you some time press the throttle pedal generously to 'clean' the whole exhaust line (incl. EGR valve)? Upon warm engine, make frank accelerations in low gears to get rid of soot around EGR valve.

Reverse Light Bulb Upgrade
Same as @JR RS. I've replaced both reverse and rear blinkers halogen lamps for LED bulbs on my MY2017 Mk3. I don't have any error and it didn't require any coding adaptation.

VCDS options on Superb III
Which interface do you use? It may come from your hardware, e.g.: VCDS MIcro CAN cannot access to all control modules.

@RomanB Once the Sport information menu is activated, do you get the all the gages from the Off road mode in the same menu? Simple assumption, since your picture shows the coolant temp, which is available from Off road mode (which can be activated with VCDS). Do I understand correcly?
