I bought a similar module from Ali too. But I never succeeded in making it work. Initializing process always failed. Fortunately it was quite cheap… It then finished in the bin… 🤷‍♂️

Hi, My Kodiaq has been registrated in April 22. I let almost all driver aids ON all the time. I ´ve got used to them, especially Lane Assist. Whereas I used it only on long motorway trips in my MY17 Superb Estate Mk3, it’s now always ON on my Kodiaq as I feel it less intrusive. The only system I ´d like to permanent my disable or at least mitigate is the Stop & Start. But it can’t be done anymore with VCDS (with the ´low voltage start limit’ trick), as it used to be. I’ve driven a MY25 Kamiq as a courtesy car last year. It bipped each time I was above the speed limit, Even for 2 or 3 km/h. Really stressing and nerving especially when the TSR doesn’t get the right speed sign at the right time… I ´m then doubting. Will I replace my current Kodiaq within 2028 (roughly) or do I keep it a bit longer ? Decision, decision…

Hi, Did you have a look on the upper face of your head lights ? If I remember well, bulb type is written on a sticker. 🤔 Giving the MY of your Superb, could help too… 😉

Hi @Mr_Bigglesworth , Not sure I understand properly... Formerly, you used to connect your phone to the car via BT connection without mirror link and simultaneously connected with a wire to get your phone charged. Is that right ? And currently you still connect your phone to the car via BT but mirror link activates automatically, or does it activate only once wire connected? If your phone is simultaneously connected to the car via BT and WiFi, it can activate mirror link automatically. If you deactivate WiFi connection, it should prevent the mirrolink from activating. Also Check your Android Auto settings. Maybe there's something ticked that enables automatic mirror link activation... Not 100% sure, since I have Car Play instead of Android auto. It may be a bit different. Just guessing...

Hi, I drove over 2,600 km (~1600 miles) last week, 80% of it on the motorway at a good pace (without breaking the law) and in few traffic jams too. I kept a close eye on the coolant and oil temperatures given the intense heat and I was really happy to see that they remained rock-solid. The cooling system seems well-sized. I did notice a significant difference compared to my old TDI 190, however. With the TDI 190 in my ex. Superb Estate Mk3, the oil temperature hovered around 100–103°C during normal driving, whereas the TDI 200 in my "Blue Bear" runs closer to 112–115°C. The elevated driving position is great, acceleration is punchy, and comfort is good (though not quite on par with my ex Superb Mk3), even with the DCC system. The ventilated seats are a nice bonus in this hot weather. Plus, the SUV profile and higher ground clearance give me peace of mind when I have to drive across a field. Something I do occasionally for the leisure events I attend, where parking is often in a field (though I’m not looking to go hardcore off-roading. it’s not a dedicated 4x4 rock-crawler, after all). All in all, I’m happy with my purchase (73000km and 4.5 years ont the clock at this time).

Hi, I fear it can't be sold separately (at least by a dealer). I've made a quick search on ifinterface.com and it looks like the centre drive shaft bearings are part of the front and rear diff... Maybe you should look for a DSG specialist. He may be able to change the bearing only.

Hi, If you want an OEM looking dash cam, I would recommend a 'fitcamx' one. It's fully integrated to the inner mirror. The rear dash cam is not as well integrated.

I had a new one this morning which is not yet completed. At first glance, once again a previous one, making you think it did not go well and had to be reloaded. But if you look at the informations of the update content, you can see, it's different from the previous one. 😉 I just don't understand why there are so numerous updates in such a short period of time... Just from the top of the head, I would say 8 to 10 over the last 30 days.

Hi, When you say foam insert, do you mean something like this? or something like that? I've tested the second one. No pressure loss over 13000km. I sold the car with this solution still on one of the tyres. If you already have a 12V air compressor, I think it's a much more relevant solution. No worry about the foam quantity whatever the tyre size, no awful "glue" on the rim, that tyre repair operator really dislike.

Hi, I face the following issue some months ago : Since then, I have regular updates as shown on @cnc 's pics above. Just on the top of the head, I would says 6 or 7 updates in the last 3 weeks... I first thought it was always the same update that struggled going thru, but when I had a closer look to the informations, I noticed some slight differences in the content of update informations. They look the same but, they are not... I let you check.

Do you mean your right front tyre is different from the left front one, or do I get it wrong? I had a Superb Estate TDI190 4x4. Not a TSI280 for sure but similar max torque if I remember well. I put Michelin PS4, which are widely recognized as one of the best tyres for Superb Mk3. I think Continental SportContact5 (or newer generation) should be interesting alternative. Some go with Michelin PS4S but AFAIK, they make sense if you sometime have trackdays, otherwise PS4 will be efficient enough. Maybe TSI280 owners may have other suggestions.

Awesome work! I regret we don't have any news from @ApertureS who is a Superb Mk3 Master Guru! He did similar major retrofits on his Superb Estate too. Simply stunning. He would greatly have appreciated your work, I guess. I assume @JR RS or @travs and many others would agree. @Binx1310 Considering me as a Legend is a bit too much honor. I consider myself at best an "informed amateur". My only areas of so-called expertise are general maintenance (DSG6 DQ250 and Haldex Gen5 oil replacement, brake fluid replacement, engine oil replacement) and some VCDS mods, that's it. 😉

Maybe your battery would be worth a "care treatment" with a battery charger over a complete night. Once "boosted" just check if problems vanish or keep nerving you...
