  1. It's probably true. But cars for journalists are often in best conditions so that media articles are more positive. It helps manufacturers improving future sales.
  2. OMG! These LED bulbs can make appear a workmate and a full set of tools in my garage? Where can I buy them? I'll order them right now! 😃 ... Sorry 😁.
  3. Hi, Surprising... I've change my battery on my own, and this setup didn't disappear... Your dealer should be able to fix it quickly (if he knows what he does).
  4. AQS, the return! My new AQS has lasted... 6 months 😤... I had bet it would last at least 2 or 3 years. Losing bet 🙄... I'll check if there can be a 1 year warranty. Otherwise, next one will then be a F version. I hope it won't cost me an arm in this case
  5. Not today, but few days ago: 'Hover board' mode (for the oldest who know Marty McFly! 😁) : This was while changing rear brake pads. BTW, special thanks to @ApertureS 👋 for giving me the complete procedure, including how to stow the parking brake. 🙏
  6. Hi, Here is the final mod I wanted to make on my rear dashcam: Simply stuck with a double sided 3M tape. I had expected that the hole would be right in front of the lens since it has the same diameter, base on my first try. But this was without counting with the pitch angle of the rear cam and the width of the cam feet. Not that massive, and still acceptable (at least to me).
  7. Hi, The driving profil is only partially remembered. At least for my MY18 (built in octobre 2017), the engine and gearbox are systematically reset to normal mode at each start, though the previous mode is still displyed on my Columbus screen. I had asked to my local dealer at the beginning of my ownership (from new). They showed me a Skoda intern notice saying this is the default setting and for safety reasons. But I don't know if it can be tuned. Thus, you have to press the MODE button and make the 'complete loop' again to get back to the previous mode.
  8. In stock version? I would be surprised of a +40HP 'error'... AFAIK Stage 1 is usually 330 to 360 depending on who makes the remap.
  9. The Cupra Formentor FL, which is about to come, will also have this new standard PHEV. 1.5 TSI / 204 or 272HP (both versions available) / 100km range in full electric mode.
  10. Almost doubled HP, it must be a significant change! 😁
  11. Did you try to have a look on ifinterface.com. Which is an online ETKA. Welcome > Free Services > CarProg2 Then chose what corresponds to your Mk3 in the drop down menus in the top left corner. Finally, use chapter 4 (Front axle and dif...)
  12. I would suggest checking on ifinterface.com if your dampers have any different reference from Arteon ones.
  13. Only reporting my modest experience, not affirming anything on MY19. However it can give an idea on what can really be expected from colleague's MY16, can't it?...
  14. I had to replace my front shock absorbers (DCC ones) at 96000km 10 months ago, because they were also starting leaking and would not have pass MOT. I´ve chosen to replace them like for like by OEM ones, whose reference is 3Q0413041AK (got it from the bill).
  15. On my MY18, built in octobre 2017, it only coasts in ECO mode. Coasting is not available in Normal mode.
  16. Otherwise, a pedal box seems to work much better.
  17. @rbhelle What was the mileage of your Superb, when you changed the rear differential oil? I should change my Haldex oil within one year, I just ask myself if I change the rear differential at the same time🤔… Currently 116000km on the clock.
  18. Sorry for you about this bad dealer experience. But one bad dealer and technician team doesn’t make ALL Skoda dealers bad, hopefully!
  19. @leolito I need to check if they do have a specific P/N. But I think I did order them separately... Because I had lost 1 or 2 of them... Which colour are yours ?
  20. Hi, I think they are the same. But not 100% sure. 🤔 If they are, it's located in the oil pan under the engine. it can be removed easily with only 2 torque screws (if I remember well) once undertray has been removed. BUT, you have to drain the engine oil first, otherwise, you'll be showered with engine oil. I had replaced it on my wife's Audi Q3 TDI150 (due to a misunderstanding of a fault code. the sensor was OK, but the harness had been bitten by a rodent 😬)...
  21. Hi, I don't know how about hatch version. But on Estate, you have to : 1) Remove lights and boot button (if electric version). then unplug them (Use a flat screw driver to remove both lights and button. 2) Pull the lower trim straight (and strongly). It's simply clipped. Just on the top of my head, I think there are something like 8-12 metal clips al around. Using a plastic tool as a lever to unclips the 3-4 first ones will help. 3) The upper trim effectively has 2 torx screws. It should be T25 if I remember well. They're located on each end of the trim (being hidden by the lower trim, once reassembled). Remove them 4) Pull the upper trim straight (and strongly). There should be approximatively 8 clips For reassembly, there's no problem doing steps 3 & 4 in reverse order. After that, pay attention to align correctly both centering pins of the lower trim. They're located on each side and have to slide straight in both ends of the upper trims. Don't forget to make connectors for lights and boot button go thru their holes in the lower trim. Then just clip the lower trim all around and at each side of the rear screen ⚠️IMPORTANT NOTE⚠️: It's much easier to put the lower trim back in place, being helped by a pal. Otherwise, it's a PITA... You try to clip a side and the weight of the lower trim tiself unclips the other side 🤬. Both centering pins also make the operation harder... Finally put lights and boot button back in place and press all around to clip it correctly. Don't fogret both clips someehow at each side of the rear wiper motor. Done!
  22. Hi, Is it the original one or has it been replaced? Indeed, I had bought belt extenders when I had child seats and they couldn’t click in center buckle On non OEM buckle, the shape of the metallic part may be different.
  23. I do mine almost at the same frequency (45000km). It has the same amount of dirt on the strainer. Not that bad, but needs to be done, as you say.
  24. Hi, It's an issue with the roll-back system. It's a PITA to fix it. Not that it's technically very hard, but it requires many hours of work since you need to remove the roof liner to get access to it. 😐
  25. It was on this forum. Not the octavia one. I've read it too. It was DIYer job with wood and carpet I give it to you, not that obvious to find it back with such a title... 😁
