  1. Max tops the FP3 times with a 0.54:0. Qualifying should be exciting at 5pm.
  2. Steady two 20 minute sessions both 8.5km so total now 517km. Two more sessions to do later.
  3. Mat claimed ACC is a £600 option and a reversing camera is £700 extra which is just plain rip off money.
  4. FP2 sees Bottas spin into the gravel and George top the times again. Valtteri looking rattled driving raggedly and making mistakes finishes 11th. Roll on Qualifying.
  5. Because of the budget cap of $145 million per team next year Ferrari designer loaned to HAAS for 2021 who will pay his wages. More personnel expected to follow him to HAAS to reduce the team's wage bill. More teams likely to follow this approach to avoid making staff redundant.
  6. The 272 did have 514nm at 2,800rpm which is much lower than the standard 272 which had 369nm at 4,500rpm on the dyno. The 272 couldn't achieve 78mpg on my commute or 1,000 miles per tank.
  7. Perhaps offer Williams their old driver back in exchange for George.
  8. Just found some research online that suggests cycling for just 20 minutes per day will burn 1,000 calories per week and even a gentle pace of 12mph (19kph) will burn 563 calories per hour.
  9. Day 18 completed wearing the Garmin watch saw a peak of 120BPM heart rate and managed another 18km in 40 minutes taking the totals to 500km and 21 hours 40 minutes.
  10. HAAS and Williams replacements struggling in FP1 with such a short circuit (how many laps is the race?). Despite being 4 or 5" too tall for the car designed for Lewis and wearing smaller racing shoes than normal for him, Russell sets the pace ahead of Max, Albon and Bottas with a lap of 54.5 seconds. Go GEORGE.............
  11. Good 1 hour morning session covering 25km and totals are now 482km and 21 hours.
  12. Just for reference the 8J x 19" wheel and 235/40R19 tyres on my wife's Karoq which weighs 1,303kg were fitted to my 2019 Superb 272 Sportline Plus which I weighed precisely on accurate weighbridge at 1,660kg so they are supporting around 357kg less overall weight and dealing with only 150PS and 250NM whereas the stage 1 Superb was pushing out 363PS and 514NM.
  13. Hope I don't get bored with my diesel in the next 12 months. Always a remap and 500nm of torque. It pulls quite well to be fair between 60-80mph when overtaking those pesky lorries in the first 2 lanes on the M1.
  14. As long as you don't exceed 70mph on the motorway your braking distance will be the same whether you have 88 or 130bhp.
  15. Shame both are so close to the £40,000 tax threshold so if you specify anything worth having as an option you're looking at £500 VED for the first 6 years.
  16. Two things, typical Range Rover driver (sorry Aspman) and no way would I have the Kodiaq repaired after that severe damage. It needs to be scrapped.
  17. Looks amazing one of the best Mk3 Superb's I've seen top job.
  18. The hybrid version particularly on 18" winter wheels looks like an off roader such is the very high ride height. My diesel SEL Superb looks sportier for example with smaller wheel arch gaps. Doesn't have the 15mm lower Vrs suspension of the 2.0 litre version.
  19. A few months ago I fitted 8J x 19" Superb Vega alloys onto my wife's SEL Karoq and hoped with the Bridgestone S001 performance tyres in 235/40R19 size the good ride on its 18" Braga alloys wouldn't be ruined and I'm pleased to report the ride is still good so perhaps try a tyre with more profile depth.
  20. Personally I would keep those alloys as they are as they really suit the body colour. Black wheels on a white car looks a bit naff IMHO.
  21. Just Googled maximum speed of a Formula E race car and was surprised it was 174mph with the right gearing but it ain't as impressive as an Indy 500 racer let alone an F1 car doing 230mph at Monza.
  22. Let's face facts it is about as exciting as Marbles racing each other using gravity to avoid pollution. No noise means no thrills.
  23. To be fair anything with a FERRARI POWER UNIT has struggled this year compared to 2019.
  24. Both HAAS drivers now confirmed for 2021 Russian Mazepin will be joined by young Mick Schumacher after probably clinching the F2 title this year.
  25. Russell managed by Mercedes since he was 19 in 2017 and loaned to Williams for 3 seasons for experience and at the end of 2021 he will be announced as Hamilton’s team mate in 2022.
