Retro fit Cruise control 2014 MK3 VRS
Perhaps send @Tech1ea PM because he is ex Skoda Master Tech and would find that a straight forward job if you are prepared to take your car to him when Lockdown is lifted.

Buyer's remorse, please help.
We ordered our Karoq before it was launched in the UK and when we collected it it was the first on Leicestershire roads. Although they had a Black one in the showroom for the official launch Skoda UK told them no one was allowed to drive it but I liked what I could see and touch enough to place an order and 38 months later still very happy with my decision and it is so much nicer than her previous £18.000 SE Sport Rapid Spaceback (although that had a nice pano roof).

So I went and bought a Jaaaag
Both BMW and Mini sales were down slightly in the UK in 2019 compared to 2018. It would be unfair to publish 2020 figures because the whole UK market took a big hit due to the Pandemic.

So I went and bought a Jaaaag
As the Chinese market loves a big grill BMW should save themselves loads of cash and pop a Rolls Royce grill on everything from the 1 Series to the X7 which almost has a Rolls grill anyway. This will push sales through the roof in the World's most important New Car Market. BMW Group had increased sales in China of 13.1% compared to 2018 with 723,680 BMW and Mini vehicles in 2019.

Amundsen postcode problem
We have the Amundsen in our 2018 Karoq and 2020 Superb and I find it easier to press voice control and say "Navigation" then "Postcode" and it works most times for me. However I haven't got a strong Scouser or Geordie accent.

Annoying things about the Mk4!
Guess I won't be buying a MK4 Octavia anytime soon then. Skoda being Simply Not Clever.

Sasha’s Superb SportLine Plus
I nearly bought it myself because I like DG that much.

Annoying things about the Mk4!
Strange because my Feb 2020 FL Superb remembers all my settings after I start it and press Individual mode. I have steering in Sport but gearbox (DSG) and engine in Eco.

Sasha’s Superb SportLine Plus
Marshalls have a DG Estate for £26,000 which is more than you want to pay but it is the 190 diesel and has reversing camera and virtual dash I think if the Winsford deal falls through.

Annoying things about the Mk4!
These things changed in 2019 when Skoda made settings reset every time you start the car due to new rules on emissions regarding WLTP. Now have to use Individual Mode if you want to store personal preferences.

Came down this afternoon to find this
A bus hit our parked Kia Picanto about 10 years ago and the front wing damage was £500 so we claimed on the insurance as the driver didn't stop and denied causing the damage even though my wife was sitting in the car at the time of the incident.

The joy of living in London I suppose.

Karoq SEL 1.5TSi ACT Manual 34 month Update and Review
This is the 38 month update and not much to report in the 5 weeks since the MOT with just 486 miles driven and filled up today first time in a month with 35.19 litres at a cost of £41.34 (£1.189 per litre). Just 307 miles elapsed at 39.66 mpg. The last 3 months has seen just 863 miles driven using 98.21 litres (21.60 gallons) for a similar average of 39.95 mpg. Total miles covered now is 29,486 and it will take 5-6 weeks at this rate to reach 30,000 miles.

Suberb Style 150bhp -anything a must to order ?
Welcome to Briskoda my used 150ps diesel came with a host of nice options but if your company are limiting you to a couple I would pick Virtual Dash and Reversing Camera both very useful. I have blind spot monitors, Canton sound, electric tailgate, heated front seats, KESSY, spare wheel to name a few all nice if someone else’s paid for them but DSG and Virtual Dash are my favourite 2 options.

What have you done to your Superb III today?
I'm getting to that stage with changing the wheels myself as they are probably 23-24kg per corner, jacking the car up is the easy bit but holding it inline with wheel bolt holes is tricky balancing on your toes. More inclined now to think sod just go to the local garage pay a few quid and they are literally 400 metres from my house. Need to be less like a Yorkshireman as I get older.

What have you done to your Superb III today?
Yeah all good in Shy Land trying to decide what gets a stage 1 map the petrol Karoq (upto 200PS) or my diesel (185PS) with all the savings we are currently making under Lockdown. I have the itch to spend something. Also considering some Gold 19" alloys for my diesel for the next 6 months use during the warmer weather because I purchased 4 nearly new Michelin PS4S 235/40R19 tyres last July which would have gone on the 272 but are collecting dust now. Decisions, decisions......drives you mad.
-
Show me your 19”
You would probably get more grip and a better ride with a decent stance by fitting Zenith 8J x 18" alloys from a Superb with 235/45R18 tyres.

Buyer's remorse, please help.
Well hadn't driven our 1.5TSi manual much recently (wife had done just 202 miles in the last 4 weeks) so it was nice to get back in it last night for my 27 mile commute and 2 things always strike me. There is no wind noise from the mirrors at motorway speeds and you can't hear the engine when cruising. Even the 235/40R19 Bridgestone SOO1 performance tyres are not intrusive and despite the wife averaging just 22mph and 37.7mpg in the last month my downhill drive to work managed 51.8mpg and uphill return 51.2mpg which is excellent considering these tyres produce a lot of drag and are not ECO tyres.

What have you done to your Superb III today?
If you didn't know he doesn't like to mention he floss's them every day because you never know when the valves will be opened for inspection. Cleaned my diesel recently but left the pistons for some BP Ultimate diesel (special treat).
-
What have you done to your Superb III today?
Looks good and they really suit the car and you should get better MPG with less drag from the narrower wheels/tyres.
-
My Third MK3 Superb But The First Diesel
Might put a tank of BP Ultimate diesel next time although I know it will be much pricier than my usual Sainsbury's diesel because it's lasting so long the extra cost doesn't bother me as the wife's Karoq last year was using £200 of petrol in Jan/Feb yet at the moment she used just £75 in the last 2 months.
-
My Third MK3 Superb But The First Diesel
Ended up taking the Superb for my first night shift last night and passed 3,000 miles driven since 17th October 2020 and due to the colder temps done 663 miles on this 4th tank and 300 miles remaining so the elusive 1,000 mile tank will have to wait for warmer weather. Car now has 9,285 miles on the clock.
-
What alloys are these?
They look like Superb 8J x 19” ET44 part number 3V0601025AP which will fit a Mk3 Octavia.
