Did they ever make a 160bhp variant? I thought it was a 150bhp (the one with the red TDI badge - as opposed to the TDi with the red D and I - I used to own one!) If so, it's news to me! PS 1.9 was also originally a 110bhp before it was replaced with the 115 bhp

Just been told by my dealer that the supply of leather seats is backdated...hence the delay on deliveries or lack of info on delivery dates. Anyone else know anything about this or am I being fobbed off? :irked:

True - my conscience was eased somewhat by the extremely poor pay rate I endured whilst qualifying - I didn't take take any clients with me either! The partners had a major falling out with each other not so long after so it was a good decision for me Gives me plenty of time with the family! :grouphug:

I used to work for a CA too, until I qualified then I went on my own - the best decision I ever made. Now I earn 10 times more than I did and I only work 3 days a week. PS Usually 10% a year increase.

To be honest, although it's an Aussie rip-take, it's not really any better there... I'm married to an Aussie and while we're over there every so often, it astounds me how much the news concentrates on "boy bitten by croc" or "flood in Sydney" and completely ignores everything else in the world - when we get back to the UK I have to catch up on what's been going on in the world! Same here - I was ***promised*** it would be here as of last Friday, but this morning the saleswoman denied all knowledge of making such a promise & told me it would be another 2 weeks! Grrrr....not a happy bunny:thumbdwn:

As a PS I'd have to agree - had a PowerBook before the current one, bought in 2001 which was exceptional...until my 1 year old smashed it to pieces when I wasn't looking!!! Thank goodness for contents insurance Vista seems to be just about catching up to what Mac OS X was in 2001 - just as v. 10.5 is about to come out...I will be upgrading as it will prob. take Microsoft another 7 years to catch up

I had this on a VW Polo I owned from 2000 - 2002. It seems that there is a plastic clip that keeps the light fitting in the right place - if it breaks the light can end up shining directly in the face of oncoming traffic. I got the clip replaced under warranty and it seemed to stop all the rage from everyone else Might be worth checking to see if it's the same problem. Hope that helps

I was out for the first half of the Man U match and got back to watch Life on Mars (promised SWMBO that I would watch it with her not the footy!) D'OH! Still haven't seen any of the goals and felt let down by Mars' ending... :confused: I think I was expecting too much after some spiel I read which said "the ending will blow your mind!" Well, my mind is definitely unblown - having said this I will probably watch Ashes to Ashes from beginning to end! I am such a lemming.
