Hi guys, i have mk3 Octavia from 2016 1,4tsi 150hp dsg7 motor CZDA. stage 2 could not hold stock turbo for long, it whistle like crazy. So i decide to purchase brand new turbo from TTE. First impression it looks amazing, wanted to install it, then i realize i got turbo which i based on 1.4 golf GTE. They have Lambda on turbo hot side. my lambda is pre and post CAT. I order bolt that wil fill the hole just like on downpipe without CAT. one problem less. Now turbo servo motor from GTE and my car, is also difference. does it have to be replaced or it can be adjusted like in VCDS? also my turbo and GTE turbo difrent tech. GTE have diesel like turbo that is ready from 1300rpm is called Variable-geometry turbocharger or VGT. our is EWG . Electric westgate actuator. any help appreciated. and i hope it will come some input before i start puting turbo on. Tuning will come within week.

carbon clean part. pedal to the metal on highway . it helps a loot! we murder engine with city driving.

i had same problem! trip to croatia from denmark. i changed my spark plugs before trip , i used bosch, and i change coil packs with Hella. i used 100oktan fuel . check engine light with message start stop error. first i did when i come back home i change spark plugs again, and i stop using 100oktan fuel. problem solved. no more misfire. one of spark plugs was faulty from the box i think, second 100oktan fuel on idle misfire like crazy. don’t know why. vcds show me that part . i had like 340000 misfire on cylinder 4, and car have 70.000km on a clock. also personal opinion is that tsi engine is fuel sensitive. i start using 95oktan from same petrol station for some time now and is all good. car puls better when is same energy consistency fuel used. try to avoid shell for some time if possible! and test it.

yeah ok, but arent you curious what is it and why is there? i was at junkyard today looking at other filter box and didnt see it. looks like 1.4tsi only 🤷🏽‍♂️

i dont think so since i have one at the star of intake is like this on pic. in my eyes is producing some kind of leak..

Never seen this before. anyone know what is it 4? is a small hole not connected to anything. Considering filling it because i dont see point of it. But i am not engineer and i will not do anything, before someone come with some suggestions : ) Thanks

i tried with red ones it wont work. i just order blue they will come tomorrow, i will report back.. boot lid is very heavy i dont see how this will work

why not disable it?

could not get mine to work with steering wheels buttons.

carista scanning not reliable at all. i have carista for coding, but to read errors vcds. get voltmeter to inspect battery instead trowing money for new one. maybe needs to be recharged 24h in your house with decent charger. Just saying , money dont grow on trees .
