Stop/Start not working
When I bought my 2014 facelift Superb it had been in the dealer system for 8 months of the cars 14 mount life (no one wanted a big petrol back in 2015!) - so probably hadn't had a good run for some time - The stop/start took many days to even work at all. The algorithm for the stop/start to work is a complex one involving battery condition, electrical load and many sensors (movement, car angle, temperature, pedal positions, doors, seat belts etc.. The stop start has recently stopped working on mine and basically the original battery is now on it's way out and is booked in for replacement tomorrow as it happens, If yours is on it's original it may be worth swapping now anyway. Make sure it's an EFB or AGM and it will need to be coded. VCDS may be able to tell you what's stopping stop start - I don't have it but I'm sure others will advise. Infact a previous owner may have disliked S/S and disabled it through VCDS by changing the required voltage setting too high. Does everything else work ok - eg cruise control? Things like clutch pedal sensor could cause both cruise and s/s to fail. PS on mine when S/S is working the car doesn't have to overly warm for it to function. [EDIT]Previous thread that is worth reading:-

Help, how do I know if I have a faulty alternator
I'd still suggest changing the battery - the 10v ish reading is a potential clue. It's the time of year that they fail(cold). Is it the original battery ? if so it's about due anyway - it's also cheapish to change.

Help, how do I know if I have a faulty alternator
This is classic symptoms of a failing battery - and they usually fail in cold weather

Vehicle not reaching optimum temperature
Is it a DSG?

It's getting cold again...
How old is the battery? - when getting on a bit these can cause strange errors - usually showing up when very cold. The stop start issue can be a symptom of a sub optimal battery

Central Locking not un locking
I've found my door handles are a bit prone to freezing up when very cold - also the door rubber can stick somewhat with frost stopping the door from opening. However I have to say I cheat - when I know I've got a very cold early start I put on a windscreen cover and position a small fan heater in the front footwell. Wired back to an outside socket that can be switched on / of from inside the house. Turned on before breakfast car usually nicely defrosted before I set off. I always tie a duster on the steering wheel to remind me I'm plugged in though!

SE technology range expanded Nov 2020
I looked at the technology model investigating the Karoq , it wasn't available with the PCP deposit contribution. I was considering buying with the contribution on PCP and quickly paying off. Not sure re Scala though.

What kind of smartphone holders do you have in your Superb 2?
I use the Brodit system to mount my Tomtom 5200 in my Superb II. the system comes in two parts.:- The first is the part designed to fit to a specific car The second is the part designed to fit the device; in my case a Tomtom 5200 but phone holders are available https://www.brodit.co.uk/brodit/vehicles/Skoda/Superb/2014/654219.htm https://www.brodit.co.uk/brodit/vehicles/Skoda/Superb/2014/654218.htm https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B013NNGX8I?pf_rd_r=XRGSG09C8GQCKMFAEVDE&pf_rd_p=6e878984-68d5-4fd2-b7b3-7bc79d9c8b60&pd_rd_r=48caf26e-6390-4937-9e23-f6babfb97be9&pd_rd_w=sn1Ha&pd_rd_wg=SYZtq&ref_=pd_gw_unk

Which bulb type and how?
i also have a 1.4tsi facelift - it's a turn anticlockwise job past a bit of a notch. H7 bulb. Easy to access compared to some cars.

changing headlight bulbs
"PLEASE NOTE: Though the Philips Ultinon Pro9000 series does offer enormous lighting improvements and is made to the most rigorous of Philips' manufacturing standards, it is important to note that this LED headlight range is not road legal. The range's lack of ECE certification means that its usage should be prohibited to off-road, private applications."

DSG Failed at 30k
If you take the deal then as you are paying some money then the gearbox should get a two year warranty. This wouldn't be the case if you got it done Free of Charge. Myself I'd say £700 as a final bill is not a bad outcome.

Fuel Gauge reading only half the true amount of fuel in the tank

- Road Noise
My poverty spec Superb has 205 55 R16 Michelin Crossclimates and it's very refined indeed- MOT time...then wallet draining
My 2014 facelift is now at about 90k miles and flew though it's MOT not so many months ago. However at a recent service it needed a pair of rear springs fitted after a crack was spotted on one of them - I hadn't realised how much the rear end had been starting to sag until correct height was restored. As luck (bad ) would have it this week less than a month after the service one of the front springs also went "BOING" in a big way taking out the strut top bearing whilst it was at it - driveable to the garage (just!). Full set of 4 springs fitted within a month - ouch.- Engine noise
Oops - yes. Dyslexia rules KO. Will edit.- Engine noise
DMF [edited] noises usually worse at tickover / low speed but can change with different circumstances (depending on which internal springs/cogs are failing). Can also cause some vibrations. As it is a manual - does the noise change with clutch in compared to clutch out. This can help to discount DPF issues.- Heater blowing cold on passenger side vents
??- Heater blowing cold on passenger side vents
Yup just checking - sounds like a servo issue. I think there is a procedure to try a reset?- Heater blowing cold on passenger side vents
Also double check the colour of the coolant, has it gone muddy and poluted with a broken silikat bag ?- Water coming through Pollen Filter housing
I think the drain is near the clutch footrest, not 100% sure though. [EDIT re RTFM]I must admit I use the VW Golf Haynes manual 2009 to 2012 which seems to cover most of the mechanical bits used in my Superb II (engines covered 1.4 EA111 + 1.6 & 2.0 diesels). It shows the aircon drain passing below the footrest which needs removing to access.- Engine noise
Dual Mass Flywheel? Is yours manual or auto?- Sluggish cold start --- 1.2 TSI CBZA
If it's running ok now at 242 000km I'd leave it alone. That's a pretty good innings.
