  1. 3C0411105C Front coil spring L03 1 orange paint mark 1 green paint mark 2 yellow paint marks Sachs 993061 front springs match 3C0411105C. However, Kilen 25068 and KYB RH3559 are much cheaper and also OE quality. 3C0413031AT Front shock absorber G07 Sachs 317575 front shock absorbers are sold to replace a huge number of OEM part numbers including 3C0413031AT. Cars listed against this shock absorber include smaller cars such as the Octavia MK2 and Golf MK5/6. Bilstein B4 22-151056 front shock absorbers are sold to replace a much smaller list of OEM part numbers than Sachs 317575, and smaller cars such as the Octavia MK2 and Golf MK5/6 aren't listed against them. For these reasons my preference would be the Bilstein over the Sachs. However, if you already have Sachs front shock absorbers I can understand the desire to match the brands. The below Sachs parts look ok Sachs 802-417 Top mount/bearing kit Sachs 900-136 Dust/Bump stop kit
  2. It looks like part 2 also comes with part 19, as shown in the photo below. 6R0412249 https://www.autodoc.co.uk/lemforder/7703890#anti-friction-bearing-suspension-strut-support-mounting
  3. I think you mean 658601011 rather than 65860101, ie. with nine digits...as shown in the photo and link below. On the Kamiq, 195/60R16 6Jx16 ET35 5/100 57.1 is a winter tyre and rim specification although Skoda dealers are also supplying this size as a spare wheel for the Kamiq. This is an economy measure so that the same spare wheel can be used for both the Kamiq and the Scala. If Skoda had chosen a 205/60R16 spare wheel for the Kamiq they wouldn't also be able to sell it for the Scala...because the Scala uses smaller outside diameter tyres than the Kamiq. If a 205/60R16 fits in the spare wheel well it might be better to use that size. Skoda has a habit of supplying undersize spare wheels, most notably the 205/55R16 6.5Jx16 ET46 5/112 57.1 from the Octavia MK3 that they supply as a spare wheel for the Superb MK3...even though 205/55R16 has an outside diameter 4.9% smaller than the standard 215/60R16 tyre size on the Superb MK3. 195/60R16 tyre fitted to 6Jx16 ET35 5/100 57.1 steel rim 658601011 https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/658601011-spare-wheel-skoda-37007.html
  4. If you were stranded at the side of the road and someone offered you their 205/55R16 6.5Jx16 ET42 5/100 57.1 from a Golf MK4...it would get you home. However, it's better to use the correct tyre size. As you can see in the chart below, 205/55R16 has a 3.1% smaller outside diameter than the standard Kamiq 205/60R16 tyre size so it's not ideal for the Kamiq. Outside diameter of tyre 205/55R16 631.9mm (-3.1% smaller outside diameter compared to 205/60R16) 205/60R16 652.4mm With the correct 205/60R16 tyre size, you could use one of the standard Kamiq rim specifications (eg. 6Jx16 ET35 5/100 57.1 or 6Jx16 ET40 5/100 57.1), or perhaps a non-standard 6.5Jx16 ET42 5/100 57.1 (from Fabia MK1, Octavia MK1, Golf MK4). 6. I think you will find that the Scout 150HP has 288x25mm front brakes and front shock absorbers with 50mm struts. Jurid on autodoc makes no mention of any Octavia MK3 with 150HP having bigger front brakes than 288x25mm...and which wheel bearing housings (aka. steering knuckles) you get depends on the size of the front brakes. It's the steering knuckle that decides whether the front shock absorbers have 50mm or 55mm struts. 7. On the Octavia MK3, the pattern seems to be that cars up to 150HP have front shock absorbers with 50mm struts, and cars with more than 150HP have front shock absorbers with 55mm struts. This coincides with only the cars with more than 150HP having the biggest 312x25mm or 340x30mm front brake discs.
  8. The 2WD VRS springs won't be stiff enough to support the weight of the 4x4...particularly the rear springs.
  9. As you can see below, you can still get these items new. You should be able to order them from any VAG parts department by quoting the relevant OEM part number, eg. 6V6061162, 6V6017700, etc. Protective insert for Fabia MK3 hatchback 6V6061162 (739CZK is about £25.36) https://eshop.skoda-auto.cz/cs_CZ/ochranna-vlozka-fabia-iii-hatchback/p/6V6061162 Nets for Fabia MK3 hatchback 6V6017700 (619CZK is about £21.24) https://eshop.skoda-auto.cz/cs_CZ/sitovy-program-cerny-fabia-iii/p/6V6017700
  10. You should be able to order either of the below plastic tubs from any VAG parts department quoting the relevant OEM part number, ie. 565061162B or 565061162. Which one you choose, depends on whether you have the basic floor or not. As you can see in the photos below, the basic floor version is much deeper so will offer the best protection. The basic floor version is 200mm deep, whereas the other version is only 60mm deep. As well as the increase in depth, notice that the basic floor version is also much heavier, ie. 7kg vs 3.2kg. 11. You might find that only a space saver wheel will fit, as the 4x4 system will often eat into the space for the spare wheel. If so, 135/80R18 would be a better match to the outside diameter of the Karoq tyre sizes. It could be fitted to the same space saver rim that the more common 125/70R18 uses, ie. on a 3.5Jx18 ET25.5 5/112 57.1 steel rim. You might think that a 135/80R18 is 10mm wider than a 125/70R18, but when both are fitted to a 3.5J rim the 135/80R18 is actually only about 7mm wider than the 125/70R18. Example of 135/80R18 space saver tyre https://www.mytyres.co.uk/rshop/tyre/Continental/sContact/T135-80-R18-104M/D-123378
  12. In Germany, the Karoq Sportline comes with 18" wheels as standard with the option to change them to 19". The same probably applies to most other EU countries where they don't insist that you take the most extreme wheels in the range.
  13. The Karoq 4x4 doesn't use a 215/60R16 tyre size. That's a Karoq 4x2 tyre size.
  14. First I suggest you purchase the foam and jack kit for the Karoq 4x4. This includes everything except for the actual spare wheel. There is a limitation to note, which is that it's only for Karoq 4x4 vehicles with a basic boot floor and standard fitted rear seats. The OEM part number is 57A093860C. If you give this OEM part number to a VAG parts department they should be able to order it in for you. Once purchased and fitted, you will be able to work out what size spare will fit...particularly with regard to the inflated width of the tyre. Karoq 4x4 foam and jack kit 57A093860C (3479CZK is about £119.70) https://eshop.skoda-auto.cz/cs_CZ/sada-pro-vymenu-rezervniho-kola-18/p/57A093860C The tyres on the Karoq 4x4 have slightly bigger outside diameter tyres compared to the Karoq 4x2. It doesn't use the 215/50R18 tyre size, as shown in the charts below. Karoq 4x2 tyre sizes 215/60R16 215/55R17 215/50R18 225/40R19 235/40R19 Karoq 4x4 tyre sizes 225/60R16 225/55R17 225/50R18 225/45R19 245/40R19 This is a Mud and Snow tyre, and also has the 3PMSF symbol so is officially winter rated. 235/60R16 has a similar outside diameter (within 0.5%) to the standard Karoq 4x4 225/45R19 tyre size. Yokohama Geolandar AT G015 235/60R16 100H https://www.camskill.co.uk/m62b0s425p148190/Yokohama_Tyres_Car_Yokohama_Geolandar_AT_G015_235_60_R16_100H_RPB_TL_Fuel_Eff_%3A_E_Wet_Grip%3A_C_NoiseClass%3A_B_Noise%3A_72dB Alcar 9257 7Jx16 ET45 5/112 57.1 steel rim (from Yeti) https://www.autodoc.co.uk/alcar/14750851?search=ALCAR+Rim+(9257)
  15. This foam and jack kit is listed on "skoda eshop cz". You should be able to order it from a VAG parts department in the UK if you give them the OEM part number, ie. 5E3093860B. This kit includes everything except for the actual spare wheel. A 125/70R18 3.5Jx18 ET25.5 5/112 57.1 space saver spare wheel would fit, but it's worth trying to see if a full size wheel would fit such as a 205/60R16 6.5Jx16 ET46 5/112 57.1. You might find the below chart useful. If the 215mm actual width of the 205/60R16 fitted to a 6.5J rim is a little wide, then a non-standard 195/65R16 fitted to a 6J rim is 14mm narrower, ie. 201mm. 201mm is still a lot wider than a 125/70R18 space saver tyre, so you will have to use trial and error to see if you can get anything close to a full size spare wheel to fit in the spare wheel well with the carpet flush. Actual inflated width of tyre (measured from the outside of sidewall to the outside of sidewall) 195/65R16 fitted to 6J rim 201mm (perhaps the 6Jx16 ET43 5/112 57.1 steel rim from the Karoq) (non-standard option) 205/60R16 fitted to 6.5J rim 215mm 205/55R17 fitted to 6.5J rim 214mm 205/55R17 fitted to 7J rim 220mm Foam and jack kit for Octavia MK4 5E3093860B (1599CZK is about £55.33) https://eshop.skoda-auto.cz/cs_CZ/sada-pro-vymenu-rezervniho-kola-18/p/5E3093860B
  16. 185/60R15 on a 6Jx15 ET38 5/100 57.1 rim is the standard spare wheel size for the 215/45R16 tyres. However, one non-standard 16" option could be the following. Hankook Kinergy Eco 2 K435 195/50R16 84H https://www.mytyres.co.uk/rshop/tyre/Hankook/Kinergy-Eco-2-K435/195-50-R16-84H-4PR-SBL/R-407562 Alcar 6977 6Jx16 ET40 5/100 57.1 steel rim (from Kamiq/Scala) https://www.mytyres.co.uk/rims/details?vehicleId=1087670987056497764&rimCode=ALCAR6977 As you can see in the chart below, this 16" option is 6mm wider than the 15" option, not 10mm which you might expect from a simple 195-185=10 calculation. This is because the actual inflated width of a tyre always depends on the rim width to which it is fitted. Actual inflated width of tyre (measured from outside of sidewall to outside of sidewall) 185/60R15 fitted to 6J rim 195mm 195/50R16 fitted to 6J rim 201mm 215/45R16 fitted to 7J rim 213mm As you can see in the chart below, the outside diameter of all three of these tyre sizes is virtually identical. Outside diameter of tyre 185/60R15 603mm (+0.5% compared to 215/45R16) 195/50R16 601.4mm (+0.3% compared to 215/45R16) 215/45R16 599.9mm
  17. It's a low quality, universal Chinese kit. You would do much better purchasing the genuine Skoda kit, and it's not expensive. The kit includes everything except for the actual spare wheel. Any VAG parts department can order this in if you give them the OEM part number, ie. 6V0093860A Foam and jack kit for Fabia MK3 6V0093860A (1109CZK is about £38.32) https://eshop.skoda-auto.cz/cs_CZ/sada-pro-vymenu-rezervniho-kola-15/p/6V0093860A Uniroyal RainExpert 5 185/60R15 84H (Euro label C A 70dB) https://www.mytyres.co.uk/rshop/tyre/Uniroyal/RainExpert-5/185-60-R15-84H/D-124245 The Alcar 7760 is the correct 15" steel rim for the Fabia MK3, but it's out of stock at mytyres and autodoc. The Alcar 8380 is the same specification as the Alcar 7760 and is in stock. Alcar 7760 6Jx15 ET38 5/100 57.1 steel rim (from Fabia MK3) (out of stock) https://www.autodoc.co.uk/alcar/14750638?search=ALCAR+Rim+(7760) Alcar 8380 6Jx15 ET38 5/100 57.1 steel rim (from Octavia MK1) (£51.32) https://www.autodoc.co.uk/alcar/14750737?search=ALCAR+Rim+(8380)
  18. £2,200 will be from the expensive factory catalogue. Skoda also do an alloy rim accessory catalogue, which tend to cost about 40% of the typical factory price...so a massive 60% saving...or put another way the factory rims cost about two and a half times the price of the accessory price. So you can get a set of four new 7Jx17 ET45 5/112 57.1 alloy rims for about £720 to £760...at least in the two examples below. In the below two examples, the xxx071xxx format means that its from the much cheaper accessory catalogue. Skoda are using their accessory catalogue to compete on price with aftermarket alloy rims. Although the below alloy rims are listed for the Karoq, they are the same 7Jx17 ET45 5/112 57.1 specification as the 17" Yeti rims. The Karoq 2x4 fits 215/55R17 to these rim, and the Karoq 4x4 fits 225/55R17 to these rim. So the Yeti's 225/50R17 is different, but that isn't a problem. 7Jx17 ET45 5/112 57.1 alloy rim 57A071497C 8Z8 (5199CZK is about £180 each) https://eshop.skoda-auto.cz/cs_CZ/alu-kolo-ratikon-17-karoq/p/57A071497C+8Z8 7Jx17 ET45 5/112 57.1 alloy rim 57A071497D FL8 (5459CZK is about £190 each) https://eshop.skoda-auto.cz/cs_CZ/alu-kolo-ratikon-17-karoq/p/57A071497D+FL8 For even bigger savings, you could use a non-standard 17" steel rim from the Kodiaq...perhaps together with a non-standard 215/55R17 tyre size. You might choose this option if you want to run 215/55R17 tyres rather than the standard 225/50R17 on the Yeti. 6.5Jx17 ET38 5/112 57.1 steel rim (from Kodiaq) (£53.98 each) https://www.autodoc.co.uk/alcar/14750807?search=ALCAR+Rim+(9021)

  20. You can get the correct foam and jack kit for the Kamiq, as shown below. It includes everything except for the actual spare wheel. Any VAG parts department should be able to order this in for you, if you give them the OEM part number, ie. 658093860A The full size 16" spare wheel for the Kamiq is 205/60R16 fitted to a 6Jx16 ET35 5/100 57.1 rim. The OEM part number for the 6Jx16 ET35 5/100 57.1 steel rim is 2Q0601027H 03C. This can be ordered from any VAG parts department. However, the aftermarket Alcar 6664 6Jx16 ET35 5/100 57.1 steel rim is an exact copy made in Switzerland, so the same high quality. https://www.autodoc.co.uk/alcar/14750539?search=ALCAR+Rim+(6664) 16" Spare Wheel Replacement Kit for Kamiq 658093860A (1089CZK is about £37.96) https://eshop.skoda-auto.cz/cs_CZ/sada-pro-vymenu-rezervniho-kola-16/p/658093860A
  21. As you can see below, there are five variations of the Michelin CrossClimate 2 in the four standard 19" Karoq tyre sizes. Notice that they are all XL, so there's no need to consider SL vs XL. 225/40R19 and 235/40R19 are standard 19" Karoq front wheel drive tyre sizes. 225/45R19 and 245/40R19 are standard 19" Karoq four wheel drive tyre sizes. The only Michelin CrossClimate 2 SUV tyre in these sizes is the 245/45R19 96W XL as shown below. However, the other versions could still be fitted to the Karoq...they are just not SUV specific. 22. Michelin don't make any such claims about XL being better at protecting your rims than SL.
  23. It sounds like you need 185/60R14. This is one of the standard tyre sizes for the Fabia MK1 1.9TDI 100HP, and is the standard tyre size if you have the 6Jx14 ET37 rim specification. The only other Fabia MK1 14" rim specification is a 1" narrower 5Jx14 ET35, but that normally comes with a narrower 165/70R14 tyre size, not the wider 185/60R14. 185/60R14 is an economical tyre size, as shown in the example below. 24. Yes. 16" wheels will give the best ride. The comfort of 17" wheels won't be quite as good as the 16", but they will still be in a different league to the hard riding 19" wheels.
