  1. I had a genuine one retro fitted but don't have the issue you describe. It is invaluable in cold but not necessarily sub zero temperatures.
  2. Mine was the same and I renewed to get the discount. Confirmation message says it would be added on to run consecutively
  3. I understand that the latest Bridgestone all season tyres get good reviews but the OEM version that cars are suppled with are generally regarded as a bit merde. FWIW, the difference in ride quality between the Bridgestone OEMs and the Pirelli Cinturato All Season SF3 on my wife's MY23 Karoq was striking.
  4. FWIW, I have not found that a problem with the aftermarket pad I bought
  5. I'd probably just go for the appropriate one of these for the USB type (A and/or C) and W output you need https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=usb-c+car+charger&crid=36KM1NGXFIOWA&sprefix=usb-C+car+chargers%2Caps%2C181&ref=nb_sb_ss_mvt-t11-ranker_1_18
  6. I appreciate the thread/question is primarily about cables but thought I would share this anyway as wireless charging is mentioned. Hope some people find it useful https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08S4517T1 You obviously can't close the compartment cover but I feed the lead out of the gap at the side of the console and sit the pad over the cup holder area. You can push it back far enough to transport of coffee cup if/when required If you don't want to plug the adapter into the front socket you can use the one at the rear of the console facing the back seats
  7. I take it from your comment that the middle one is place but any (remote) chance the stuck seat is not in the right position latterly. Not even sure if that is possible with the centre seat fitted but maybe worth pulling/pushing it to the outside of the car to ensure in the right location. Or maybe pull/push the seat back front/back Apart from that I got nuffing
  8. https://www.medesign.co.uk/MEDesign-Backfriend I have a couple of these and transferred them to every one of my last 4 cars Don't use the base though, just the back. You might find a 2nd hand back on eBay. My second one was bought from there

The Mode button and toggling with the lever give different versions of Sport mode. See logiclee's posts above.

Yadda yadda School day 😁 I wondered if it was just a terminology thing but I guess "Driving Mode" would have been used. Might still be an option for the device though. I just went by the ones I could see in the Amazon listing photo

Just a thought I wonder if you could change it using one of those bi-directional OBD diagnostic/coding gizmos. For example. https://amzn.eu/d/2zYAo70 See one of the screens. Item 22. Transport Mode Although it would be an expensive way of avoiding pressing the button in the centre console twice each time you start the car. 🤔

You can't as far as I know on MY22 or MY23 cars but I wish I knew how if it is possible. Probably/possibly changed due to emission laws.
  13. Good to hear FWIW, we choose to put the new tyres on my wife's car for a few reasons. Her journeys, albeit much less frequent than mine, are on the M3 and/or M25. Mine are more urban and shorter Another reason is my car is still on a PCP until July this year. I'll probably keep it but I'm not going to fit new tyres and then then potentially give it up after 3-4 months. Even so, I'd much rather she had better tyres to help ensure her safety when competing in Wacky Races on the motorway.
  14. I was biding my time to replace the OEM Bridgestones on my wife's MY23 Karoq but the time has now arrived. Was expecting to go with the Michelins but have opted for 4xPirelli Cinturato All Season SF3, Got 15% discount for buying 4 tyres, Paid £573 incl home fitting and old tyre disposal. My own MY22 will need replacements fairly soon too but in the meantime I have blagged her less worn Bridgestones. Got anotherfew mm of tread to play with for the time being :) Might be a price to pay in longevity over the Michelins based on reviews but the SF3s appear to be good tyres. Might take a wee while for me to see and judge any differences but will post an update when I can.
  15. I use Google Maps via Android Auto Not a fan of the native navigation. Plus, you don't get live traffic unless you pay the sub after the first year
  16. Nextbase recommends formatting the card every 2-3 weeks. That obviously wipes everything on it but assuming you have not had a prang (or want to report merde driving) and therefore don't need any files on the SD card that shouldn't be an issue
  17. If it isn't a fob issue, which it looks like it isn't, I am inclined to agree with pinkpanther
  18. Personally, I'd hold out until Carlsberg started making them 😁
  19. I use this wheel cleaner and am pleased with how it performs https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07JK54KZ3
  20. My MY22 does the same as yours. i.e. the doors don't open if I just do the boot button
  21. Irrespective of Mode I'd expect the blue Eco light to show if you aren't "giving it laldy" as we Scots would say Light load on engine regardless of Mode = Eco
  22. You might need to browse this thread for the rear wiper blade. No guarantee that the blades will be a straight swap I have a MY22. My wife has a MY 23. My friend has a MY22. They both have the same but mine is different. Parts bin lucky did imo
