Sim Racing
Not sure if anyone else plays any of the sim racing games on a wheel, but I’ve recently upgraded from a TX leather edition to a TS-XW racer with a Sparco P310 rim. The difference in steering feel and car placement is fantastic. I thought it might be a slight difference, but it’s absolutely night and day. It’s managed to drop over a second off some of my AC and Forza Motorsport lap times. Even WRC feels so much more connected. The kids have also noticed how much better it feels and how much easier it is to control cars in Forza Horizon games they play. So definitely worthwhile if anyone else is considering getting into these type of games or building a better rig. Also be interested to see what others are playing on if they already do enjoy a bit of sim entertainment, and hear their views on different rig set ups. Direct drive wheel anyone?

Replacement Centre Caps
If you run the same wheels during the winter months it’s not really going to matter. Genuine centres take a kicking with the salt as well. All my winter rims have similar to your eBay link fitted, and at the price, I just replace every year when I change the wheels over.

Marmite subject.
As above. Remove the airbox and fit an open cone style filter intake.

Water in boot
Had the exact same issue. Fixed mine by removing the N/S/R tail light unit and silicone sealed around the inside of the cluster seal, to Seal any gaps between the seal and the bodywork. left it over night to dry once fitted again, and haven’t had any water in the boot since.

help finding a new bike
Trek seem to have a pretty stable reliability and quality record. Giant ships still be the largest manufacturer and design and make some very good and solid bikes and frames. Vitus seems to be the one I’d be cautious of. There are a high number of complaints online from various forums and groups showing broken rear triangles, that the company will not stand over or replace in a lot of instances. To the extent people call them Breakus or snapus.

Debadge - Dash
Flatten it off, and have it wrapped in the same finish to hide the pin points.

Remapping
If the cars been mapped, factory warranty will be void for the turbo. Revo would be my choice for the mapping work.

help finding a new bike
Keep an eye on buy and sell mtb Ireland Facebook group. Some lovely clean bikes appear reasonably often in great condition, and may stretch your budget to a better bike than buying brand new, (Just a thought). a search on similar name but Northern Ireland or Ulster, brings up another couple of groups from memory. My wife shows me some that pop up every now and then.

Twin coffee cups to fit the cup holder
Yes bud. Two of them fit perfectly.

CLP
Fitted a few bits today to a 7.5R. Two of the items were an elbow and intake hose. Both were from CLP tuning, but if I’m not mistaken, they are identical to the items used by Racingline that I’ve also fitted for folks. I’d like to see both of them beside each other. Anyone else noticed similar?

Replacing drivers door inner rubber seal
It’ll be press fit. When fitting the new one, check it first for any obvious sections that may have widened in transit. Or if it feels slightly loose when fitted you can pull it off again and tighten with some plastic grips or pliers with a rag to protect the seal and then thump home again with the heel of your hand. You can lightly use a rubber hammer but normally not necessary.

Mac's Running Diary - edit jan '21 cycling too - edit jan 23 back @ circuit training,
Could be the cable. Screw the cable adjuster in full and then set the top and bottom limiters using the screws. Then use the cable adjuster by hand, screwing it out until you get a nice smooth change again. Should be loads of you tube videos showing the process. Every now and then Lidl have a bike stand in the middle aisle section. Really handy for this sort of thing and not that expensive. At least you all got out yesterday. Today up here is just pure wick!!

4 bike carrier and kids bike seat advice
I have the Thule 3 bike version with 7 pin connection. Had it for a good few years and never had any issues. Seems very sturdy, and the rear lights are bright and clearly visible. I’ve no experience of the 4 bike version, but if it’s as good as this one I have, I’d be more than happy with it. can’t help with the seat query though.

Vented or not rear discs
Just replace them like for like. So in your case it would be non vented.

Air Quality Sensor
It’s under the scuttle panel on the passenger side. Ask the dealer for the price of the part on its own. I can’t remember exactly but thinks it’s around £80

Paint touch up kits
I order mine from the bay of evil using the paint code. There’s one seller that’s located around enniskillen over here, that’s never let me down for a perfect match. Think the sellers name is fiona_mcgowan123

Debadge - rear options
The bonnet and boot badge should have pins but the model badges shouldn’t. I’ve to get mine de-chromed first and then start the rest when I get it home again.

Debadge - rear options
I’ll be bringing mine in soon to strip and paint the callipers and prep and coat with a decent ceramic. I’m for removing all the rear badges and those terrible looking L&K badges on the front wings.
