And this rim is close to 10mm closer to the suspension strut so no scrubbing on the inside of the rim (rears) either? Noting you've used 5mm spacers on the fronts I assume no rubbing there? Also I have no idea but for some strange reason I have more room/offset in the rears to give/play with than compared to the fronts. This is with respect to stock rims. I measure the following 18-20mm from rim to guard on the fronts and 20-22mm on the rears. Perhaps my camber on the rears is more? But I'm not seeing a 5mm more room to move on the fronts over the rears?

Could someone please confirm what wheel bolts the superb uses. Looking at aftermarket wheels so will need to order wheel bolts also, just needing to know wheel bolt diameter and pitch. M14*1.5 conical (for aftermarket)? Does anyone also know the load rating of the OEM 19 inch Vega alloys please?

Does anyone know if the Superb Sportlines (280) have camber adjustments on the rears?

So getting back to the original post of this thread has anyone got a solution to the dreaded inside tyre wear? I’ve got it albeit it’s only occurred since lowering my car on eibachs but I’m going to have to bite the bullet on new tyres and want to ensure these tyres don’t get eaten out on the inside edges also and hence waste $1500 on early replacement of inside feathered edges tyres. I’ve already upped the tyre pressure to the max recommended. Should I get a good tyre alignment place to reduce the camber fronts and rears? Noting camber does look a lot more currently on rears but inside edge wear seems to be occurring on all four tyres?

So my Superb is off to the stealer tomorrow for a few issues one of which is a broken rear ac air vent. Stealer is saying that it’s unlikely Skoda will accept this as a warranty repair as he said Skoda have knocked back everyone that’s he’s dealt with. Reckons they just don’t brake. Skoda saying it’s due to brut force. I said it’s been like this since very early on since I had the car from new. Said it’s the inner vent that’s broken not the outer one so how can brut force cause the inner vent to brake but not the outer vent? Surely Skoda has to prove it was brut force and not just say “oh it must have broken from brut force”?

Can’t say it’s grabbing me. Looks too tall and too boxy for my liking. And only 195kW engine isn’t enough for me either.

That’s some seriously dark tint on your rears. Can I ask what VLT tint you put over the factory privacy glass on the rears please?

Why can’t you adjust them yourself? I did on my MY21 Superb Sportline after the lowering springs were installed and they stuffed the OEM beam.

Can I ask what width rims and tyres dims you’re running please.

I too was getting the dreaded bong on most trips. Dealer replaced the steering wheel. That helped but I till get the bong maybe 10-15% of the time. Car is going in for two device recalls one of which is the above update I believe. See if that helps.

You can remap it by yourself in your own garage. You don’t need a dealer.

So I take it no one’s remapped with 034 Motorsport then?

Can I ask what remap you have and do you also have TCU tune?

Have you now tried high beam? I found after adjusting my normal beam lights (which were too low after I got my lowering springs put on) upwards to be perfect now the high beam is now too high.....but not much I can do about that unfortunately.

Just wondering has anyone heard much about 034 Motorsport Stage 1 ECU and TCU tunes? Looking to get my 280 Sportline remapped but can’t find a hell of a lot of reviews of people getting their Skoda Superb tuned by 034 Motorsport. Found quite a few very happy Audi customers.
