  1. That much. 😁 It's carbon. Everything made from carbon is expensive.
  2. Why? What if I want to be on all the time? What they should do is make it customizable for each mode or at least an easy way to turn it off.
  3. It's not just Skoda that went down this way. Almost all new "sport" cars have some kind of fake sound turned on by default.
  4. I don't quite understand how should this work for the diff oil change? Would this be an extra service between regular service intervals if your regular service intervals are far away from that 2 year/60k period? Or is diff oil change done with the service which is the nearest to that 2 year/60k timeframe? So I can expect diff oil change at my next service in a couple of months?
  5. My car is 2 years and 1 week old with 42 000 km (26k miles). Had two services at 15k and 30k and I'm due to next one in 3k km. I can report in 2 months if they will change the oil or not at 45k km.
  6. Not all cars....only cars with led lights. I think the majority cars still has normal halogen lights. At least here in Slovenia. Where is the line? When the condensation starts to form into drops and they start to drip down the inside of light.
  7. I don't know. 😁 Need to think about it. Second thing is that tuners need to buy a new device for remapping gen.4 engines and since Slovenia is quite a small market, not sure if (when) tuners will buy it.
  8. Ideal conditions for condensation. You don't need to worry about that. It will go away eventually.
  9. Just to be clear. I was only referring to the normal condensation. Some of the cases in this thread are definitely not normal.
  10. I don't have any need to do that really. 🙃
  11. What did you tell them? That no other car manufacturer has this issues?
  12. So you are actually saying this happens only with Skoda cars? Although the internet is full of cases also from other brands?
  13. Pretty normal. As long as you don't have droplets in the lights. Not nice to see but at the end it's just physics. Same as sometimes happens with your windows. The difference is that in the cabin you have AC/ventilation which removes the moisture.
  14. Not to difficult. But if you want to do it without removing the bumper, it's better to do it on a lift. I have done it on a lift so was able to swap them without removing the bumper. One screw is really hard to reach and you need to partially unscrew the diffusor to get the old tips out. A little patience is also needed. I would also recommend an additional pair of hands.
  15. I don't think this issue is connected to the car. Would say it's more of a phone/gmaps and connectivity to the car. Since it started on my car without any recent car updates. Phone is iPhone 11 pro. Now I'm waiting for a new phone to see if the issue will be solved or not.
  16. Yes, DSG remap is not needed for low torque engine remap. But it could help with the smoothness DutchVRS is mentioning.
  17. Rain is not the main reason for the condensation to appear. It's the quick temperature change (when the outside temperature drops quicker than the temperature inside the light) that causes condensation inside the light.
  18. Your situation should be good for warranty exchange.
  19. I'm sure we will find out soon. There are also a lot of GTI owners who are waiting for a remap. And I'm not much worried about the axle tramp since I don't practice hard accelerations from 1st do 2nd. I'm more interested in gains in higher gears.
  20. That is common. And not only with Škoda. Google it.
  21. Racingline remap is also already available. +100 BHP over stock. Quite impressive numbers. https://www.racingline.com/ea888-4-garrett-software
  22. I didn't have any issues today at -6. But my car was under the roof and fairly clean. I mean without any frost.
