  1. Thanks @Vlady I took my time for the boot. There is quite a lot of surface there. 😁 I didn't feel comfortable dismantling the window mechanism on the doors. This is why I tried to be more accurate with the foam on the door panels. I will do a longer drive tomorrow and I'll report back.
  2. Some pics of the boot and the left door.
  3. Thanks Jorgeminator. With " push forward" you mean push in the direction towards the handle? Or towards to the inside of the car?
  4. Any advice how to get the button assembly out of the door without braking? 😞 This is the far left side. I just couldn't get it out without braking.
  5. Finished the boot and behind the right boot panel today. Needed two afternoons. 😅 It's quite time consuming since there is a lot of surface around the spare tire and a lot of curves and angles. A lot of cutting and adjusting to cover everything. Was so into it I forgot to take pictures. 😂
  6. Will decide once I remove the panel. 😁
  7. Makes sense. Thanks. I guess I'll leave that part alone and not disassemble it. I don't feel comfortable taking it apart. I'll just apply some mats on the exposed metal and some foam on the inside of the door panel. The as Jorgeminator did.
  8. @Felix2021 I guess you can't remove this whole center assembly without detaching the glass right? How do you do exactly step 3 in reverse? When you are putting everything back together? How do you attach these plastic latches back to the glass?
  9. I can answer myself now. 😁 There is no need to take out hooks completely. Only bolts behind the hooks. Now I know how to disassemble the boot side liner in my sleep. Since I needed to disassemble it 3 times today. 🤯
  10. Thank you for this. So hooks must go out completely? Not only the bolts behind the hooks? How do you get them out? 🤔
  11. Is there any more hidden bolts or rivets beside these marked on the pictures? Do you know if the plastic piece and the carpet are like one piece? or they can be separated?
  12. @Jorgeminator do you have any advice or the steps how to remove rear wheel arches in the boot? I have an estate. Or maybe if you can grabe some screen shots of the repair manual? I have a nasty rattle in the right one and it needs to be fixed. Otherwise I will go crazy one day. 😒
  13. Did you check if your car still has transportation blocks in the springs?
  14. You got me here. 😂😂
  15. I never understood why people put some kind of protection on their doors. The problem are other people slamming doors into your car and not vice versa. 😁
  16. Sure you can. If you have an automatic, Just don't press the brake paddle when you press the start button. If you have a manual, put it in neutral, don't press the clutch and then press the start button. Another thing to check is also the ride height. Some owners were left with transportation blocks still installed in the springs.
  17. Interesting knowing that the new Kodiaq has the TPMS. Since as far as I know Skoda ditched this some years ago on all models.
  18. It doesn't. It's through ABS sensors.
  19. Really? Need to try that.
  20. Didn't notice any obvious changes. Even speed seems the same for me.
  21. Did you said you'll do that later when changing tires? 😁 Good job!
  22. Could be. Or it just needs a bit more time depending on the current SW version on the car. I'm still on 1788.
