  1. Mine was not so quick. I waited at least 10 min in the car and the update was not yet finished. So I left.
  2. Got the update today. I'll go on a drive tomorrow to see if anything has changed.
  3. So you have removed the original padding under the bonnet? Is it safe to have butyl mats inside the engine bay?
  4. As far as I know TDI engines are not included in the engine cover recall.
  5. Was the same on my TSI when it was new.
  6. One more question. Do you need to prep the surface before putting on the mats?
  7. Nice project. How do you remove the rear seats? You just need to pull them up?
  8. What I use lately is that I put my phone in the tray with the screen facing down. This way wireless charging is not triggered. 😁
  9. What is this exactly? 🤔
  10. PPF: 1100 EUR for the whole front + mirror caps + stripe one the roof above the windshield + behind all door handles + top rear bumper protection. Ceramic: around 650 EUR for the whole car + rims
  11. Ceramic will not help against stones. I wrapped the front of mine with PPF and then a ceramic coating over the top and the rest of the car. I can only recommend that. Especially if you drive a lot on highways and in winter.
  12. You will be fine. For example, 8.5x19 ET45 fits nice. So yours will fit also without any issues.
  13. The Skoda emblem is from Kopacek, yes. The VRS one I bought from Benny's EmblemDesign (Facebook page). He takes original ebmlems and custom paint them. They are not cheap but it's top quality.
  14. Another small change. Trying to get rid of that chrome. 😅
  15. Just my two cents. After 30 000 km with my petrol vRS with DCC I'm starting to feel that the most stiff setting in the individual could be a little more stiff (for the nice curvy roads). I could swear that it was more stiff at the beginning. But most probably it's only my imagination.
  16. When on a road trip, use the Long Term data. Reset it when you start traveling and you can have cumulative data for the whole trip.
  17. You get a display of the steering wheel angle in the head display. You can see how much are the wheels turned to the left or to the right
  18. One from the recent road trip to Austria and Germany.
  19. It will be cleaner. But it won't be clean. 😁 And most certainly engine will not die without it.
  20. Good to know!
  21. I'm sure we are. 😁 But I have to say that press and hold the + paddle does put it back to D though.
  22. As I already mentioned on Facebook, mine goes back to D in 10 to 15s if gear is not changed. Could be Skoda changed the behavior in newer cars. Mine is November 2020 and I still have 1788 SW.
  23. You think the engine cover keeps the engine completely clean? I'm sure it doesn't. But I agree with you engine bay doesn't look nice without it.
  24. My long term is 33. And on highway I'm constantly getting between 40 and 44.
