  1. I finally remembered today to try to wash the rear camera through the infotainment system today. To my surprise I don't have this option available at all. I can only set image settings, but there is no option to clean the camera. @Soko1982 can you maybe take a picture of how your menu looks when you have time?
  2. You unlock the car. Open the door and you take out the fuses. Nothing else. If this doesn't work, then the issue might not be the same. For me for example, the car connected itself again when I went home from work.
  3. Yes, it should be. I have E and my car was build in November. But you never know.
  4. Same here. The globe icon is grey. Couldn't login with my skoda account. But I don't have any messages about "no internet connection" or similar. So looks like a bit different issue than last time.
  5. The most important are device part number and SW version. For devices ending with A,B or C the latest version is 1668 (not 100% sure). For D and onward the latest version is 1788. What you want is a car with device part number ending with D or higher. Since these have (according to the internet) less issues than earlier ones. The software version also doesn't change with every update. Most OTA updates and also most updates at the dealers won't change the version.
  6. I'm sorry it didn't work.
  7. I'm sure you have it.
  8. Sorry @parsey83 for the wrong quote. Just realized now.
  9. I have removed both, 19 and 30, for 10 minutes.
  10. Now you need to buy us a beer.
  11. @janis Here you can find the thread with pictures. Fuses are 19 and 30.
  12. In the mk4 you can have the "full" manual only in Sport mode. In all other modes you can manually change a gear with the paddles. But as soon as you stop changing gears it switches back to D after a short period of time.
  13. What can I say other than to confirm/agree everything @parsec82 said above. English is not my native language so I can't put together a such nice overview of the car. I have put a bit over 6000 km on the car and I enjoy every bit of it. I did have a couple of sw glitches in the 5 months of the ownership but nothing major.
  14. Ok. The misunderstanding is clear now. I always thought that IV (both capital) means mk4 and iV means hybrid version.
  15. This is how it works. I think coasting is present in all modes except Sport. Some requirements need to be met for coasting to engage. See attached pictures.
  16. Not sue I understand what you mean. I just like the fact you bought a petrol version of the RS.
  17. This is the only section that says anything about disabling the car alarm. Looks like the only thing is to disable interior monitoring.
  18. Aaaannnndddd...some more pictures. https://www.feser-graf.de/fahrzeuge/skoda-octavia_rs-973579715/?manufacturer.brand=ŠKODA&manufacturer.model=OCTAVIA RS&appearance.paintColor.key=green
  19. Some more pictures.
  20. I'm glad we have different taste.
  21. This one "SKODA OCTAVIA Mk4 vRS OWNERS CLUB (UK)"
  22. Did you see the "real" images on our Skoda FB group? I would say it looks much much better on this render picture than on the "real" ones.
  23. Can I post your screen shot on UK FB group?
