Bus lane signs
Good luck.

Radio installation
I did my single-DIN stereo installation differently from you, but aimed for what I presume is a similar outcome. This is my completed works... I kept the OEM cubby at the bottom (drilled a hole in mine to run an iPod cable through) and used a single-DIN fascia purchased from Halfords, they still sell them IIRC. Hope that helps.

Hello and nice to meet you!
Hello and welcome to Briskoda, Brian. I love the colour of your car, works well with the black accents.

Headlights for my mk1 Vrs (2005)
Very true. Especially if wanting to stay OEM-ish too.

Headlights for my mk1 Vrs (2005)
Tell me about it. They're like hen's teeth, I can often find one but not the other, being New-Old Stock. See here:

Bus lane signs
There's two in Ayr along from Tesco/the Racecourse that are like this. Both run at different times so if you're in one, you need to try and merge at a junction to get out of the way of the other one. Plus there's an added congestion due to folk not using them because the signs are tiny.

Dutch Octavia Vrs became active.
Hello and welcome to activeness on Briskoda! Smashing looking Octavia.

AnnoyingPentium's 2006 Fabia 1.2 12v Ambiente-ish
Hope everyone had a smashing Christmas... anyway I got floor mats for mine from my Gran and Grampa. Really smartens the wee thing up. They're from Simply Car Mats or some company like that. They do a good job too.

iPod People in 2021. Make Yourselves Known.
I'm long away from iOS, with my last being an iPhone 5S circa 2016. I like to keep my owned music and my phone separate due to storage constraints too.

Cambelt at 5 years?!
Good views on that bit of road, overtaking lanes make it a bit more fun given the volume of lorries. Travelled it quite a lot saying "we'll only go to Stranraer" and ending up in the Robert the Bruce in Dumfries for our tea.

How long does it take (a mechanic) to replace cam belt and water pump?
Seriously however, it will vary greatly in cost depending on where you go and which car it's being fitted to.

Gearbox jamming
No, I mean has it been changed or is it original?

Cambelt at 5 years?!
I've got a distant relative who works for Border Skoda IIRC.

2005 VRS
Thanks! I'll head out to Ingram Skoda in the new year. Right cheers. I'll need to be watchful of that then, maybe I'll get someone a bit less brutish to do it.

2005 VRS
Mine has bubbled that exact way in the same place. Thank you for posting the part numbers! Could you tell me where you got them from?

Latest EV's with Tail Lights that are the whole width of the rear of the car. WTF is it with some Designers / Manufacturers?
The Toyota C-HR is one that bothers me due to it's tiny indicators as I mentioned further up in the thread, it does prove that it's not just an EV specific issue however and that it's becoming a bizarre design "fad". What happened to actually being able to see signal lights from a reasonable distance and not from 3 inches from the rear bumper? It's so strange. My wee brother gets two options for going to school, he can either get in the car or walk. If he doesn't like it then he can just suck it up.

Cambelt at 5 years?!
Tend to avoid the ones up here as well if I can help it, Ken.

Ticket Clip problem after windscreen replacement
I don't have a clip because my Mk1 is about as advanced as an abacus... plus it was never fitted. I don't know who manufactured the screen and it's a wee bit dark and wet for me to check at this moment in time. I've bought one of those clip-on doo-dads that @skomaz posted a link to in the hopes that it'll help me. Sorry that I couldn't be of more help.

Fabia VRS Estate rear rattle video
Could still be echoing throughout the interior of the car, however.
