  1. An excellent choice. I was about to say cake/biscuit but that's a controversial topic for the off-topic section I reckon.
  2. I wouldn't know, I don't know the guy down the street with the black Ambiente TDI enough to ask him. Haha. The heater gets pretty by the time I travel the mile or so to leave the village...
  3. I don't actually, the little Aygo appeals to me, the "new shape" one in orange looks a bit like a Jaffa Cake to me. So it wins.
  4. I just looooove that shade of blue! All it's missing is some Brisky badges, we all know those are the best way of adding power.
  5. I'd recommend sticking with OEM panels honestly. But someone with more experience in modifications and cars may be able to provide a better answer.
  6. Why thank you. Mine is low mileage and was kept in a slightly less grit-laden (compared to my area) part of Scotland before I purchased it. The front and rear mudflaps were new-old stock from the internet and the boot liner was from a company in England I believe. The gearstick/shifter boot/gaiter was purchased from the internet, it's real leather allegedly and has held up well so far. Hope that helps somewhat.
  7. I'll get it done at some point. Just need to wait for time and/or funds allow for such a thing.
  8. Hello and welcome to Briskoda. Sounds like an amazing project for a Yeti.
  9. Hi again, does anyone know what the spring behind the locking pin/thing look like? That's the part I'm missing as when the lever is pulled the little locking pin retracts which does not indicate to me, a cabling issue as discussed before.
  10. I'm not sure as my heater would bleedin' well roast you in seconds. My air conditioning is pretty poor but I know it's needing a recharge as it gradually died over the summer there.
  11. Hello and welcome to Briskoda, Lee. I loved reading your introduction. I reckon you'd get on well with @@Lee in terms of Star Wars and possibly other things. Enjoy the site and the car.
  12. Hello and welcome to Briskoda, Andy. Glad to hear you're enjoying your Superb!
  13. Be as smug as you like, you've got an Octy vRS and they don't.
  14. Thanks for the tips George. I've got a damp trap in the rear seat pocket that has made a big difference to steaming up. The windscreen hadn't frozen on the inside this morning so I don't know if it's any better yet.
  15. I use that one as well, JR.
  16. I forgot to reply earlier but I had a silicone case on a Samsung Galaxy S2 and its only redeeming feature was that I could turn the case inside out when I felt bored.
  17. This was the issue with one of my tyres on my 16 year-old alloys pinched from a Fabia Bohemia, issue didn't show itself when the thing was placed in soapy water etc. The tyre fitters (was Budget in Ayr, then Tyre-City, and then Kwik Fit within a matter of weeks) just replaced the tyre free of charge.
  18. Yep, I don't imagine it would be that much in parts and labour for a garage to undertake the work too.
  19. Hello and welcome to Briskoda, glad to hear you're enjoying the Superb and it's meeting your expectations. Your mention of a Barchetta also has my ears pricked up like that of a German Shepherd.
  20. Honestly the best way about it IMO. Would be better for your Felicia if you wish to keep it around rather than making things worse.
  21. +1 on this. Had one with my Samsung Galaxy S7 and it kept it from shattering on many occasions, the one I had was padded in the corners too, nifty little feature really. It was only when it was out the case ONCE that I broke it!
  22. Not quite, the little control thing that come up with volume contained playback controls that no longer appear when I pause or play music.
  23. Can't lock the front windows of the Mk1 Fabia that doesn't have all-round electric windows... that I know of at least.
  24. It's the same as the little thing you'd get when pausing a YouTube video I believe. No issues to report so far, seems less buggy than W10 did on this laptop.
