2017 L&K Hatchback tailgate issue
Have you scanned it for fault codes? It could be a faulty control module

Cairus's Leon FR
That will look great. I was thinking of doing my roof glass black including the spoiler but now I’ve got the black roof bars I think it looks better as white otherwise you don’t get the contrast.

Sorry to hear that @Cairus I find working on my car a nice distraction from work and family noise! But spending time with family is also important!

Recirculating Button not working
Sounds the the actuator for the temperature control isn’t working either. With the car up to temp, If you set it to coldest then slowly increase temp by 2 degrees every few seconds until hi does the temp increase at all. If it does then it may be that the aircon needs degassing rather than a diverter issue.

Intermittent speakers help
Do you have the part number that you replaced the speakers with. If the end with A it could be that you replaced them with the first generation ones that could have failed in the same way again with magnet detaching.

Thats a serious amount of retrofit. I didnt understand what you meant by the illuminated seatbelt buckles until i looked at the photos but they are pretty cool! didnt know they were a thing. It will look much nicer with all white switches. The positioning of the driving profile selector is very clever. Neatly tucked away. Can we see some photos of the outside? PS we are the same age! PPS - I am honored to be listed alongside such legends as @JR RS and @Bap33 !

Superb Mk3 Estate 190PS TDI DSG MY2015 SE L Executive - Moon White
A couple of jobs done today. Replaced the drivers door inner seal as the original one had worn from driver getting in and out. The second hand one I got from eBay had a little wear but hadn’t split so I just rotated it about 45 degrees so the wear was on the back edge where it won’t wear any more. Pretty simple fit, you just have to take a couple of trim pieces off. As I had already had some of the trim off and it was finally a sunny afternoon I thought I would tackle installing the black roof rails. Thanks to @Kosin for the install tips. Pretty much remove anything attached to headliner around the edges, all pillar trims and top boot trims. To remove the sun visors and handles you need the OEM/Laser long nose flat pliers at £60 to £30. Luckily Ali express to the rescue again with a cheap tool that does the job perfectly for £3 https://a.aliexpress.com/_EHRShvy To access the rear of the front pair of bolts you have to disconnect the plug from the curtain airbag igniter. Not too much bother with the battery disconnected and an appropriate wait time to make sure everything is powered down. Apart from when I had fully reinstalled the liner and trims and got an airbag error warning and realised I had forgotten to reconnect the passenger side! Doh! So that half all got disassembled again to reconnect it. Now all done everything back in its place and all fault codes cleared with no issue. All in about 3hrs work. It would have been 2.5 without my airbag mistake! So that’s the last of the dechrome jobs done and now full Sportline-ish exterior spec (apart from wheels and stance both of which are outside the budget for now!)

Installing new speakers, wiring advice needed
I don’t know for certain and I’m sure someone will correct me if I’m wrong. But the car should have its own crossover to sort out the signal to the speakers. So if you use the OEM wiring directly onto your speakers and leave out the aftermarket crossover one would assume that it would work fine. That’s what I would do anyway! Doesn’t mean it’s right though!

For future reference to get the cover off you would have to remove bumper. Pre facelift had a couple of holes you could poke a screwdriver through to release it. Bumper removal:

Yes that. And also the extension on our house is nearly complete so time and funds will be diverted to that!

If you want more bass you could always do something like this…

What have you done to your Superb III today?
I had the aerial one and it went away again. If DAB works then it can be ignored. Looks like you’ve missed the confirmation of update step. Instructions can be found here: https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/514645-how-to-guide-for-mib-firmware-update/#comment-6003673h Did you get the Ali express camera? Some I got in install at this post. https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/454623-what-have-you-done-to-your-superb-iii-today/page/195/#findComment-5986858 Just make sure you’re careful routing wires around airbags. Worst bit is through the boot and the rubber gaiter. A spray of wd40 inside the rubber helps.

Penultimate Sportline-a-like upgrade. 8mm black trim strip added to the the lower door trim. https://a.aliexpress.com/_EISPHpy OEM has a recess so would have had to change entire colour matched lower trim piece to get a completely stocked look. Yet again @JR RS leads the way with adding an external trim strip to achieve the same effect. Just the roof rails to change now for the full black out of chrome.

No Blower Fan
Thanks @Cairus for the correction. The wiring diagram is confusing as it shows the BCM on the same page so I assumed there was some connection to it. apologies for any confusion. Yes this fuse box is the one accessed by pulling down the glovebox door on a RHD
-
No Blower Fan
The air blower is supplied by a 30A fuse in slot 14. If this is ok then its power comes from the BCM. The BCM’s job is to monitor voltages and cut power if there is any problem. But this should give a fault code if its active.

Under Passenger Seat Loom Help
I think it’s to do with the canton amp for the big purple plug. Seems to be a frame on the floor for holding some kind of unit. If you don’t have a unit you need one! Can be seen in this post: https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/520388-superb-iii-sportline-mission-impossible-spec/

Standard or Damptronic dampers?
And yes start stop as standard. But you can code this out or get a module to plug in to the back of the button to keep it off.

2.0 Skoda 2.0 220 DSG Oil Change Missed
Only way is driving it. Checking for jerky erratic changes or over revving. I bought my one at 125,000 miles that had its first gearbox service at 110,000. I’ve done another at 129,000 to be sure. Garage said the oil was clean and the car drives fine. Might be a ticking timebomb but there’s no way of knowing. Personally I felt the risk was worth it to get the car I wanted.
