Installing new speakers, wiring advice needed
I don’t know for certain and I’m sure someone will correct me if I’m wrong. But the car should have its own crossover to sort out the signal to the speakers. So if you use the OEM wiring directly onto your speakers and leave out the aftermarket crossover one would assume that it would work fine. That’s what I would do anyway! Doesn’t mean it’s right though!

Superb MK3 2020 ACC/Front assist sensor "Sensor impaired
For future reference to get the cover off you would have to remove bumper. Pre facelift had a couple of holes you could poke a screwdriver through to release it. Bumper removal:

What have you done to your Superb III today?
I had the aerial one and it went away again. If DAB works then it can be ignored. Looks like you’ve missed the confirmation of update step. Instructions can be found here: https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/514645-how-to-guide-for-mib-firmware-update/#comment-6003673h Did you get the Ali express camera? Some I got in install at this post. https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/454623-what-have-you-done-to-your-superb-iii-today/page/195/#findComment-5986858 Just make sure you’re careful routing wires around airbags. Worst bit is through the boot and the rubber gaiter. A spray of wd40 inside the rubber helps.

Nah not for me. I like the look on yours though.

Superb Mk3 Estate 190PS TDI DSG MY2015 SE L Executive - Moon White
Penultimate Sportline-a-like upgrade. 8mm black trim strip added to the the lower door trim. https://a.aliexpress.com/_EISPHpy OEM has a recess so would have had to change entire colour matched lower trim piece to get a completely stocked look. Yet again @JR RS leads the way with adding an external trim strip to achieve the same effect. Just the roof rails to change now for the full black out of chrome.

Thanks @Cairus for the correction. The wiring diagram is confusing as it shows the BCM on the same page so I assumed there was some connection to it. apologies for any confusion. Yes this fuse box is the one accessed by pulling down the glovebox door on a RHD

The air blower is supplied by a 30A fuse in slot 14. If this is ok then its power comes from the BCM. The BCM’s job is to monitor voltages and cut power if there is any problem. But this should give a fault code if its active.

Under Passenger Seat Loom Help
I think it’s to do with the canton amp for the big purple plug. Seems to be a frame on the floor for holding some kind of unit. If you don’t have a unit you need one! Can be seen in this post: https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/520388-superb-iii-sportline-mission-impossible-spec/

Standard or Damptronic dampers?
And yes start stop as standard. But you can code this out or get a module to plug in to the back of the button to keep it off.

2.0 Skoda 2.0 220 DSG Oil Change Missed
Only way is driving it. Checking for jerky erratic changes or over revving. I bought my one at 125,000 miles that had its first gearbox service at 110,000. I’ve done another at 129,000 to be sure. Garage said the oil was clean and the car drives fine. Might be a ticking timebomb but there’s no way of knowing. Personally I felt the risk was worth it to get the car I wanted.

Has it been scanned for codes? Worth going to a VAG specialist to scan if you don’t have the kit yourself.

Retrofit Reverse Camera
I got mine from AliExpress. OEM fitment in the boot handle and connects to the back of the unit in glovebox. Approx 2 hours to fit. Worst bit was running the cables. There’s plenty of guides on here. Have a search. About £40 all in.

Replacing drivers door inner rubber seal
Hi. I have this issue too. I have ordered a replacement seal from a wreckers. Is the seal shaped and fits a certain way or can you fit it any way?
-
What have you done to your Superb III today?
Yeah. Got there in the end. I had the paddle extensions already so had to find a wheel to fit them onto eventually!

What have you done to your Superb III today?
Haha. Bitten by the bug! You need to match your button type and spec (heated / not heated) and if you get it right it’s a 10 minute job to swap once you have the right one.

Superb Mk3 Estate 190PS TDI DSG MY2015 SE L Executive - Moon White
New (non dimming) mirror glass installed this evening. It doesn’t have the clip for the dimming wiring plug so I had to tuck it away. Initially it fouled the swivel movement so had to very carefully take the glass off again and tuck it away a bit neater. I also received the third attempt at buying a steering wheel with DSG. This time it was listed as for a karoq with part number 3V0419091AB. It is completely identical to my current wheel but with the addition of DSG paddles. It came with the usual wreckers grime but 5 minutes with some autoglym leather cleaner and a damp cloth and it looks good as new. Silky smooth with a nice matt finish. What was described as a scuff on the wheel in the eBay listing turned out to be a dirty mark which cleaned up fine so that was a bonus. The vehicle it came from had only done 38,000 miles so I’ve ended up with a steering wheel significantly newer and in better condition than my old one too! The addition of some alloy DSG extension paddles completes the look. https://a.aliexpress.com/_EvShoRU

No idea what makes it different from 3V0419091S and 3V0419091M as they look the same too. But those ones are listed as for a superb and tend to be significantly more expensive. Round steering wheel with DSG paddles
The punt on a karoq wheel paid off. 3V0419091AB is identical to my standard 3V0419091L but with the addition of paddles. All installed and working with no issues. I guess most MQB wheels of the same general age/generation are interchangeable.

If it’s got warranty and the warranty covers it the it’s 100% back to the dealer job.
