They may not have a diesel particulate filter but new petrols do have a GPF gasoline particulate filter. mmmm genius idea… not! You drill a hole pre dpf to keep the pressure sensor from triggering. The gases will always take the path of least resistance which with a partially blocked dpf and a open hole, the gas is gonna pour out the hole, you’re gonna get soot everywhere, cancerous gases straight through your pollen filter into the cabin, possible chuffing sound. ask anyone that’s ever driven a diesel with a exhaust leak - if it’s bad enough you’ll have your eyes watering and coughing, and yet you want to do this on purpose???? Next you’ll be saying if you’ve got a seized brake caliper just crimp the hose off and remove the caliper completely…. just fix the issue properly!

There certainly is as my petrol 2.0 tsi has it fitted from the factory. On pin T91a/36 CORRECTION On petrol engines May 2017 onwards it seems to go to the BCM J519 on pin T73c/52. This is applicable to the superb though. Before this date it seems it only went to the engine ecu, not bcm ANOTHER EDIT On the octavia it looks like High Heat Output Relay J360 is only suitable for diesel engines sadly.

Disconnect motor, try again. If it doesnt blow then the pump has shorted internally. Also check the motor isnt submerged in water.

Have you checked the belt is still on and also its a smart alternator, the exciter wires need checking also.

For J type slow plug fuses it uses male terminals and female sockets on the back of the fuses. For the engine ECU - please confirm this yourself!!! For SB11 and SB12 you will need 2x 000979424E For the engine ecu, you will need to show us exactly what pin point it is as the plug will use multiple sizes of terminal

Thats what gave me the idea, i rest it on the magnetic charger on top of the display and use that vent to cool my magnetic wireless charger

You need the MOST cabling no matter what. Canton or not, it is required. Ive had a chinese cluster in mine for over a year now without fault.

Yes you need a MOST fibre and also a MOST splitter. 3V0 and 3VD are one is made for the european market and one is made for the chinese market 790 and 790A the difference is 790A has a higher speed rating and is classed as the 'sport' version

I had a genius idea… so people complain of the wireless phone charger overheating a lot. so my solution. where the pipe leaves the heater box to run to the glovebox to cool it (always cold air) T off of it with a 6mm silicone tube and route it 30cm or so to the back of the phone charger pad, small 8mm hole in the back of the cubby area and you’ll have constantly cold air running across the pad and phone. would be completely out of sight and look no different but with that added benefit just a passing thought

The outside air temperature sensor is very much ‘for user usage’. Even more confusing when you’re saying it’s less accurate because it’s only for electronics? When in reality electronic uses require much more precision than what the user requires. either say, it’s a thermocouple in a plastic housing, they’ve extremely accurate and work off resistance, so if you’re consistently reading 10c off of every reading then my first port of call would be a slightly high/low resistance in the wiring or plugs which is bringing it slightly above 0ohms and causing the misreading

Front camera, not for your age of superb, only the newer superbs with the 2Q0 radar and grill allows a front camera but only as part of a 360 surround view system. Front parking sensors yes, this can be fitted as if it left the factory. Was it something you wanted to do yourself and needed advice or wanted someone to do for you? Hi there, make sure to use the @ symbol then a name to notify people or quote it else we wont get notifications 😛 If your seat is showing no basic settings then you need to run the full routine, i personally do it with ODIS which will put the seat into a mode and actuate all directions to their stops and then save the settings. I am unsure if this can be done with obd11

Personally I’d walk away. if they’ve not repaired it properly by either cheaping out on parts or a lack of attention to detail to notice ‘black != chrome’, well then what else have they messed up or done wrong.

The tank can be whatever size you want it to be? you can get a 18 inch pancake tank that will hide in the spare wheel. Build a dampened bracket and fit the compressor in the right side cut out. everything could be completely hidden
