Wireless Android Auto
Hmmm... About the only other thing I can suggest is deleting the Bluetooth profiles on phone and car and then re-pair, if still no go then check all your settings on phone and car, otherwise I'm out of ideas.

Wireless Android Auto
Have you got the latest version of Android Auto? First item in 'recent fixed problems' below sounds like your issue... With a mix and match of phones, cars, and third-party stereos, it’s difficult to pinpoint what is causing Android Auto problems and offer solutions beyond general troubleshooting. Google continuously updates Android Auto and fixes issues as they come up. You should also report any issues you face to let Google know. Recent fixed problems (May 2022) Calls made through Google Assistant were automatically defaulting to the phone speaker instead of the car speaker. “Something went wrong” error when using Google Assistant to navigate or reply to messages. Music stutters when using Android Auto Wireless. This was a problem specific to Samsung phones that Samsung has fixed. Voice commands don’t work with Spotify. Android Auto freezes when the phone locks. This was a common issue with Oppo phones. Xiaomi phones lag after disconnecting from Android Auto. Android Auto shows home weather information instead of the current location.

Dynamic Light Assist (DLA) on Matrix LED System
See page 51/52 of the owners manual for the full low down, but basically it automatically switches high beam on and off. To activate push the lighting switch stalk forward and you should see the high beam indicator on the dash turn gray with an A in the symbol. be aware that under certain circumstances it's not fool proof (oncoming vehicle has dim headlights, or oncoming vehicle obscured etc) so be prepared to dip the lights if necessary. Overall though I find it works quite well. As usual, others may have different experiences.

Replace key battery warning
Well, proof positive of the varying quality of batteries - was on the way to drop my car off for it's first service today and the low battery warning came up on the dash so the cheap Chinese battery only lasted about a month and a half! I'll have to get a supply of quality ones for the future!

Tyres
Mine came with Goodyear Eagle F1 Sport's which I'm quite happy with, haven't had Goodyear's on a vehicle for a long time but these seem to be a good all rounder and no complaints as yet, will likely run these again as long as the price is competitive.

Dynamic Light Assist (DLA) on Matrix LED System
That's good, they may be new to the brand but they have a good reputation so lets hope they can sort it. Let us now how you get on.

Dynamic Light Assist (DLA) on Matrix LED System
Same as above, you'll need to go to the dealer - this should have been activated when the dealer you purchased it from did the PDI. Who is your dealer? (Some dealers here are very new to Skoda....)

Replace key battery warning
Actually, I looked backed at my records and I've replaced it 3 times - first around 5 months from purchase, replaced with an Energizer brand battery, that lasted just over 6 months and then I replaced it a couple of weeks ago when the warning came up on the dash. I don't think there's anything wrong with the battery as everything works as it should, possibly aggravated by lots of short trips during the day and perhaps that the car is parked very close to where I keep the key when at work (well within range). We have a VW Tiguan at work which has quite an appetite for key batteries as well (at least two in 12 months). I guess the other factor is that you have no idea how old batteries are when you purchase them, they could have been sitting on the shelf for a long time and surely they must discharge slightly over time. Plus everyone's usage patterns are different which would have an effect. My car is May 2021 and does have the sleep feature for the key fob. I think you are correct regarding the differing quality of batteries as I have bluetooth headset fitted to my motorcycle helmet for the radar detector, cheap batteries seem to die within a few rides whereas quality ones like Panasonic, Maxell etc., last for months. It'll be interesting to see how long this battery lasts as it was a Chinese one that we had a packet of at work,,,,,,

Replace key battery warning
A lot of late model vehicles with keyless entry seem to have quite the appetite for batteries, I guess because the fob is constantly searching for the car and as has been mentioned above not all batteries are created equally. My car will be a year old at the end of this month and I've replaced the battery in the fob at least 3 times if not 4. At least they're inexpensive and easy to change.

Problems with Matrix Lights, Bluetooth & Climate Control Sync
It might be that UK models have different software as I know there's a few differences from other RHD markets as some of the options you guys in the UK get we don't even get offered. That said, mine is a 2021 build RHD and I've had no real issues at all, there was some sluggishness with the Android Auto connecting etc., with my old Samsung S7 but now that I've upgraded to a S22 it connects really fast and the apps also work a lot better. The only other issue I had was with the coding for the towbar electrics but I think that was more because it was the first vRS they had fitted a towbar to, so I was a bit of a guinea pig on that - still sorted in two visits.

Funny, I Googled Eurofighter Typhoon and that was one of the better images that came up and I thought something looked off but I looking more at the canards than the actual plane! 😅(That'll teach me to be more careful!!) You'll have to forgive the error - modern fighter jets are a rare sight in our skies since the last Labour government sold off our A4 Skyhawks and cancelled the proposed F15 order 😐 About all we get are a few sorts of helicopters (A109,NH90 and SH-2G Seasprites), some old C130's and P3 Orion's a couple of 757's, a few T6C Texans and a King Air 350..... pretty sad really and probably why I've lost a bit of interest. Where I live we see more warbirds than anything which certainly brightens up the day!- Navigation guiding suggests stop at restaurants and cafes, how to turn off.
Click on the two gears icon at bottom left of your photo, then click 'Basic function settings' and then click 'delete usage pattern' and you should be sorted.- Octavia VRS mk4
It's generally an aviation/aerodynamics term - a small winglike projection attached to an aircraft forward of the main wing to provide extra stability or control, sometimes replacing the tail. (according to an online dictionary) Couple of example images attached: Eurofighter Typhoon - canards are the small wings below the cockpit in front of main wing and on the Mercedes the small black winglets on the sides of the bumper ( or like the ones in the links above)- Octavia VRS mk4
I think these are the droids canards you are looking for: Front: https://milotec.de/Milotec-air-inlet-trims-fits-Octavia-IV-RS::4057.html Rear: https://milotec.de/Milotec-air-outlet-trims-fits-Octavia-IV-RS::4058.html- Problems with Matrix Lights, Bluetooth & Climate Control Sync
Yeah, he rejected the car! 😅 Shame it had to come to that but it appears Skoda UK is not that great at customer service, or so it would appear from this forum. For that matter is it my imagination, or do the majority of cars with issues come from the UK?- Glove Box
Actually the answer is in the second image above that @inspectorman posted - push the two lugs sideways and away from the glovebox and it will just drop down- Glove Box
If you look at the top corners there's two button sort of things that you have to press (in or to the side, I forget) which release the glovebox.- Glove Box
Same as Mk7 golf as far as the rod goes :- New VRS suspension
Without DCC- New VRS suspension
- Do you feel mis sold on your mk4
No. I've had no major issues, a couple of minor niggles but no worse than any other car I've owned. - Octavia VRS mk4
